'Eid Ul Adha' at Mathra Masjid

Alhamdulillah, Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Kerala celebrated the Eid Ul Adha festival at the Noor’ul Islam Masjid – Mathra with a spiritual retreat of its members on 05-08 June 2025. Summa Alhamdulillah, most members of the Jamaat made it convenient to reach the Masjid venue ahead of time, and participated wholeheartedly in the pure celebration of spiritual blessings over the four days of the Eid.

In this era, a spiritual gathering of disciples and followers of a Divinely-raised reformer assumes importance. In an era in which truth and falsehood has become mixed and blurred; the lawful has become unlawful, and the unlawful has become lawful; and the religion of prophets has become a plaything at the hands of power-hungry politicians; restoration of spirituality is impossible without Divine manifestation: the advent of a heavenly- raised messenger is a great blessing on troubled humanity. Indeed, only a Divinely-imbued soul can reclaim the spirit of Faith among the believers through the practice of virtue and the preaching of holy wisdom in these complicated times, Insha-Allah, Aameen.

Just like God Almighty raised spiritually-inspired souls as prophets and messengers and reformers and spiritual leaders in other turbulent eras for the guidance of the people, it should not be and it is not a matter of wonder when God Almighty turns in mercy to mankind and invokes His perennial practice – Sunnat Allah- of raising an Elect among them for their own sake. Indeed, we believe that Allah (swt) has sent His special Elect as the Muhyiuddin and Khalifatullah of this era in the person of  Hazrat Imam Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius for the spiritual guidance of humankind, Subhaan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar!

Hajj & 'Eid Ul Adha'

Assalamoualaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakaatuhu.

Eid Mubarak!

When we speak of Hajj, we commemorate the immense sacrifice of two prophets in human history who attained the highest level of love for Allah. These prophets are Ibrahim (as) and Isma’il (as).

The sacrifice of our forefather Hazrat Ibrahim (as) and his only son at the time – Hazrat Isma’il (as) – [before the birth of Ishaq (as)] is a central event in Islamic history. It is remembered every year during Eid-ul-Adha. Allah tested Ibrahim’s faith and devotion by commanding him in a dream to sacrifice his son Isma’il (as). This event is mentioned in the Holy Quran:

“Then when (the child) reached the age to walk with him, (Ibrahim) said, ‘O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. See then what you think.’ He replied, ‘O my dear father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, among the steadfast.’” (As-Saffat, 37: 103)

The Israel- Palestine conflict

Hamas & the PLO- Fatah

The Israel-Palestine conflict remains one of the most pressing and deeply entrenched crises in modern history. Palestinians have a legitimate right to live in peace in the land they have inhabited for centuries. However, the colonialist Zionist enterprise has systematically deprived them of their basic human rights, confiscating land and expelling native inhabitants to make way for Jews born in America, Europe, and other parts of the world. Israel has established an apartheid system against the native Palestinian Arabs, with laws protecting Jewish citizens exclusively while offering no legal safeguards for non-Jewish populations - yet it still prides itself on being the only democracy in the region.

Islam: A Way of Life

Islam as a Deen, Not just a Religion

Islam is not merely a religion (Mazhab) centred on worship and rituals; rather, it is a complete way of life (Deen) that governs all aspects of human existence. Unlike Mazhab, which allows people to practice rituals freely alongside their occupations, Deen establishes moral, ethical, and legal principles that govern human behaviour in every domain – personal, social, economic, and political.

The Quran defines Islam as a Deen rather than a Mazhab: “Indeed, the religion (Deen) in the sight of Allah is Islam.” (Ali-Imran 3: 20)

This distinction is essential because Deen ensures that every action aligns with divine principles rather than personal whims or desires. For example, whereas some religions separate faith from governance, Islam integrates spirituality with justice, social responsibility, and legal systems, ensuring that no human activity contradicts divine laws.

Divine Union in Islam

Union with Allah

The experience of union with Allah, as I have already mentioned in my previous sermon, is profoundly spiritual and transcends human understanding, to the extent that it cannot even be described in words. A person who experiences a connection with Allah will find that the words they (i.e. he or she) use (uses) to describe this experience do not truly capture the depth of what they have lived through spiritually. It is something that the person – the believer – feels and experiences personally, yet cannot fully explain. Only those who have personally gone through this deep connection can truly understand it, and even they struggle to convey the essence of this extraordinary experience to others.

The gift of 'Khair'

The Good of this World the Hereafter

Allah, in His infinite mercy, has kept extraordinary blessings for His believing servants. Even those who have made mistakes and committed sins but later received His forgiveness and mercy are included in these blessings. These rewards exist both in this world (Dunya) and in the next life (Aakhirah). The terms used to describe these blessings are “Khair’ud-Dunya” (the good of this world) and “Khair’ul-Aakhirah” (the good of the afterlife). However, the word “Khair” does not just mean a simple blessing – it refers to a state of true fulfilment and peace for a believer. This peace, enhanced, fortified and deepened by Allah’s mercy, grants a person access to provisions specially kept for them (i.e. him or her) in this world, as well as an even greater reward beyond imagination in the afterlife. But to receive this, they must remain on the right path and die in a state where Allah is pleased with them. This state is called Al-Nafs-Al-Mutmaina (the soul at peace).

Every true believer in Allah and His Prophet, Muhammad (pbuh), should aim for this state of inner peace, because it is in this state that one can spiritually connect with Allah. Life on Earth is full of hardships and difficulties, yet, amidst this chaos, Allah grants some people the ability to disconnect from worldly distractions and truly connect with Him. Through Salat (prayer) and Zikr (meditation and remembrance of Allah), a person can reach a level of spirituality where, even though problems may rain down upon them, those troubles feel insignificant – like water dripping off a leaf. They feel deeply at peace, submerged in a connection with Allah, which He Himself has permitted. There is a sense of harmony between the servant and their Creator [be it for a male believer or a female believer], a deep synchronization between Allah and the one He created. This is the real meaning of Khair’ud-Dunya, where the good is not just material, but also spiritual.

'Al-Hayaa' : Modesty in Islam

In Islam, Al-Hayaa is a noble quality that represents modesty, humility, and shame in a positive sense of the term. Our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) emphasized its importance, saying: “Faith (Iman) has over seventy branches, and modesty is an essential part of it.” (Bukhari). This virtue is deeply connected to faith, as Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) also stated: “Modesty and faith are inseparable. If one disappears, the other will also vanish.” (Baihaqi)

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was himself a model of modesty. Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (ra) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) never looked at people in an inappropriate way, even during a time when nudity was present, such as during pagan rituals around the Ka’aba. He (pbuh) also taught: “Modesty brings only good.” (Bukhari)

In the Holy Quran, Allah commands believers to protect their chastity and lower their gaze: “Tell the believers to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is fully aware of what they do.” (An-Nur, 24: 31). This verse puts emphasis on the importance of modesty as a way to purify the soul and strengthen faith.

In today’s world, society faces a decline in moral values, worsened by the influence of the media and Western culture. Pornography, which was once marginal, has become widespread due to the internet and modern technology.

Gazing God in Heaven

The Vision of Allah in the Afterlife

Every true believer wishes to see Allah one day, whether they are believers from among the various peoples of the earth, or especially the chosen ones of Allah – the prophets. Allah states in the Quran:

“Glory be to Him (Allah)! His greatness surpasses all that they (meaning the people – the disbelievers, the idolaters) describe. He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth from nothing. How then could He have a child when He does not have a spouse? He has created everything and knows all. That is Allah, your Lord. There is no deity besides Him. He is the Creator of all things; therefore, worship Him. He is in charge of everything. The eyes cannot perceive Him, yet He perceives all eyes. He is kind to us and fully aware of everything.” (Al-Anam, 6: 102-105)

The human mind’s conception and perception of Allah are very limited. The intellect cannot fathom the true nature of His existence. Allah is Omniscient, and Omnipresent, meaning He is everywhere, and He hears and knows everything. Nothing escapes His knowledge. One may attempt to conceal oneself, but no one can ever hide from Allah.

'Ilhaam' : 14 Shawwal 1446 AH

For anyone who is a devout Muslim, willing and able to exercise his spiritual intellect and common sense; the Signs of the times cannot be mistaken.  There is little doubt that the Ummat-e-Muhammdiyya is passing through a time of all-round turbulence and turmoil; there is a dire need today, perhaps more than at any other point in Islamic history,  for social reforms and spiritual renewal through a Divinely-imbued and inspired soul; a time when Islam has been reduced to the bare text of the Qur’an and the books of traditions; even as they followed the symbols and rites of religion, the Muslims have forgotten the substance and spirit of faith: without clear guidance and pure example through a living exemplar. Instead of holding on to the rope of Allah in quest of Divine help and succour, the search for respite has taken the Ummah to the doors of false gods and evil minds that only misguide and deviate them.

Against this dismal backdrop of overall spiritual darkness in the world of Islam today, true and devout Muslims ought to embrace the Divine manifestation of our times:  for those who are not yet aware of, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International Hazrat Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius is a living Saint in this 15th century of Islam. Over the last two decades, Allah the Almighty has bestowed upon him several titles of exceptional rank and spiritual distinction, such as ‘Muhyiuddin’, ‘Mujaddid’, ‘Khalifatullah’, Imam Mahdi, ‘Musleh Maoud’, ‘Dhul Qarnayn’, etc. This humble servant of the Islamic Faith, the chosen elect of God in this era, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) brings the light of pure guidance with the help of the Roohul Qudus, renewing the spirit of Tawheed and Tawakkul amidst the trials and struggles of life for the illumination of all lost souls.

On 14 Shawwal 1446 AH~ 14 April 2025, Hazrat Saheb (aba) conveyed to his disciples and followers about a special, mystical experience of sublime spiritual quality that he experienced: indeed this living saint, like so many of the great pious souls who passed away in the Islamic tradition over the centuries, experiences Divine communion and conversations with Allah (swt). Noble and Inspiring Traits

The Impact of the Holy Prophet’s Good Character on Society

The Holy Prophet (pbuh) was renowned for his exceptional ability to touch people’s hearts by adapting his approach to what suited them best. When he lost his paternal uncle, who had always acted as his protector against the hostility of other members of his tribe – the Quraysh – as well as other tribes, the Quraysh intensified their persecution against him after his uncle’s death. To escape this oppression and in the hope of gaining the support and protection of the Banu Thaqif tribe for his followers, he decided to travel to Ta’if. He also hoped that this tribe would accept Allah’s message, which he had been sent to deliver on behalf of Allah. He thus embarked on this journey alone as a testament to his faith and determination.

Shawwal & Hazrat Aisha (ra)

After Ramadan, comes the month of Shawwal. During this month, it is recommended to observe six additional days of fasting (Nafil). These days of fasting are not obligatory, but they are recommended by the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), who said: “Whoever fasts during Ramadan and follows it with six days of fasting in Shawwal will be rewarded as if they have fasted for the entire year” (Abu Dawud). It is possible to observe these six Nafil fasts on any day during Shawwal, except for the 1st of Shawwal, which is Eid-ul-Fitr, a day of celebration when fasting is prohibited by Allah.

For those who have missed obligatory fasts from previous years, it is preferable to make up for those missed days first before observing the six Nafil fasts. However, if someone has only missed fasts during the recent Ramadan, they can start with the six Nafil fasts and later make up the missed obligatory fasts. Alternatively, one can choose to make up missed fasts during Shawwal itself, but these fasts will not be considered Nafil; rather, they will be the obligatory fasts owed to Allah. After completing these obligatory fasts, if they wish, they can observe the six Nafil fasts of Shawwal.

'Eid-ul-Fitr' Sermon 2025

The profound message of the Eid-ul-Fitr

Eid-ul-Fitr, celebrated at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, is one of the most important festivals for us, Muslims. It marks the end of fasting (Roza/ Sawm) after a month of physical restraint, spiritual reflection, and devotion. This day is a moment of gratitude to Allah for the blessings we have received, as well as an opportunity to strengthen our social, familial, and community bonds. The word ‘Eid’ itself means something that recurs, repeats, or a recurring event that brings happiness and a festive atmosphere. It represents an occasion that reappears after a certain period, bringing moments of joy and blessings. Essentially, the term “Eid” symbolises a moment of communal celebration, uniting or connecting a group in happiness and gratitude.

In the Quran, the word “Eid” is directly mentioned in Surah Al-Maida – Chapter 5, Verse 115. In the context of this verse, we see how the disciples of Hazrat Isa (as) asked Allah to send down a table laden with food from the heavens as a feast (Eid) for them, marking it as a day of celebration and a sign of His grace.

Here, we observe how Allah not only blessed Hazrat Isa (as) and his disciples with material provisions but also granted them spiritual sustenance, which was continued and perfected in Islam with the arrival of our beloved Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh).

Thus, beyond festivities, feasts, and gatherings with family and the community, this day carries a profound message: that each Muslim should continue to lead a pious life in accordance with the teachings of Islam. It highlights a way of life rooted in spiritual, ethical, and moral values, which each believer should strive to follow throughout the year, not just during Ramadan.

Al-Qadr: The Night of Decree

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Truly, We revealed it (the Quran) on the Night of Decree. And what will make you understand what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend during it by the permission of their Lord, bringing every command. Peace it is until the break of dawn. (Surah Al-Qadr 97: 1-6)

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, we enter the final third of this blessed month of Ramadan. During these last 10 days, Allah and His beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) have taught us that there lies a night within, so magnificent that its blessings surpass those of 1,000 months.

‘Massih Maoud Day’ 2025

A Celebration of Spiritual Revival in this Era

23rd March is a day of immense historical and spiritual significance. For it marks a momentous event in the annals of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya; it was on this day in 1889 that the Promised Messiah and Mahdi Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian, accepted the first Bai’at (initiation of discipleship) of Hazrat Maulvi Hakkim Nooruddin Bhervi (ra). For devout Ahmadis, the spiritual relationship of Bai’at was not an ordinary undertaking, but a pure Divine covenant, fulfilling a sublime prophecy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) regarding the revival of Islam in the Later days.

Today, almost 136 years after the great spiritual event of the establishment of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya in 1889 by the then promised Massih Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian, his true spiritual legacy of Divine revelations is found only in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International. While Ahmadis remaining with the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Qadian as well as the Lahore Anjuman carry out the publication and dissemination of religious literature, just like every other Muslim denominational groups do in our times; Allah (twt) has blessed the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam with the fortune of being the flagship of the specially- chosen, Divinely-raised messenger of this Islamic era, the Fifteenth century of Islam, in the person of Hazrat Imam Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Al Massih Maoud Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius.

Hence, today, as we reflect upon this sacred occasion of the first Bai’at, we are not merely commemorating an event from the past, nor are we celebrating as Ahmadis did in history. Instead, we celebrate the living truth of Islam in this era—a truth upheld not by human hands but by the Hand of Almighty Allah (twt), ensuring the continuity of divine guidance through His chosen servants, Subhaan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar!

Zakaat in Islam

Alhamdulillah, twelve days of fasting have already passed [in other countries, slightly more than this], and I hope that each one of you is making the most of these blessed days to come closer to Allah. Insha-Allah.

Today, I return to an important subject, which is Zakaat, the third pillar of Islam. I have noticed that despite the explanations provided about Zakaat, this subject remains unclear to many of you. Hence, I come once again on this subject and request all my disciples to refer to my past sermons, as well as what I am going to say to you today. Compile this into a small booklet and distribute it to everyone so that you have a reference regarding Zakaat and can clearly understand how you need to calculate Zakaat and upon what assets you need to apply it.

First of all: What is Zakaat? It is a tax that Allah has made obligatory for all adult Muslims (who have reached puberty) and who possess the minimum sum upon which Zakaat is mandatory, referred to as “Nisaab.” This tax purifies the wealth of believers, not only bringing more Barakat (blessings) to their worldly and spiritual possessions but also serving as an essential means for Islam to gather sufficient funds and resources to help its progression globally. Additionally, it strengthens and enriches the poor, alleviates their suffering from poverty, and offers them a new chance to rebuild their lives – to give them a fresh start in life. Therefore, it is called the Purification Tax (a purifying tax) because sharing it with the less fortunate encourages kindness, generosity, and a balance of wealth within society, redistributing wealth to prevent the rich from becoming too rich and the poor from becoming too poor.

Zakat: The Purification Tax

The purification of the heart is very important. A believer cannot perfect their (i.e. his or her) faith in Islam without purifying their heart and soul. With the month of Ramadan, which serves as a training for the upcoming 11 months, Allah has provided several means in a believer’s life to not only purify their wealth but also their heart. One of these means is Zakat.

The Creator (Allah) and His beloved Messenger (pbuh) have always linked the purification of the body with that of the heart. Zakat purifies the heart and has several meanings. According to the root of its letters (Ze, Kaaf, Waw), Zakat means ‘to purify,’ ‘the purification of the heart,’ or even ‘the complete purification of the heart,’ which includes the purification of our soul and inner self. The purification of the heart involves the purification of all the members of our body.

Allah has established Zakat to purify our hearts and our possessions. Through Zakat, Allah illuminates our hearts as well as all the other members of our body. When we give Zakat in the way of our Creator, our possessions and our souls are purified. Why? Because of the joy it brings, and our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to do it wholeheartedly, helping the needy, which brought him much contentment as he spread wealth to the poor to eradicate poverty and give the needy the chance to live with dignity. This joy of the Prophet (pbuh) was translated into a radiant smile, his heart flooded with contentment for helping others, especially Muslims - those who believed in the one true God and in him (pbuh) as the Prophet of Allah.

The Month of Fasting

Ramadan is here once again. This blessed month is filled with many blessings and offers a unique opportunity to every Muslim. To fully benefit from it, it is essential to understand what this month symbolizes and what we can gain from it to come closer to Allah and His paradise.

Allah says in the Holy Quran:

O you who believe! Fasting has been enjoined upon you as they were enjoined upon those before you, so that you may be God-fearing (attain Taqwa)” (Al-Baqara 2:184).

Divine commandments, including fasting during Ramadan, aim to instil piety (taqwa) in the hearts of believers. They help purify the soul, develop patience, seek forgiveness for sins, and obtain divine rewards. Fasting during Ramadan, in particular, is a way to draw closer to Allah, strengthen one’s faith, and engage in deep spiritual reflection. It also instils values such as discipline, empathy towards the less fortunate, and gratitude for the blessings received.

The Spring of Revelations @ 25

'Spring is here again: Once again, God's Word is fulfilled’- a Divine revelation received by the Promised Messiah (as).

For perceptive minds, Islam is the enduring path and faith of Tawheed’; the religion taught by all prophets from the dawn of history, and perfected by the holy Prophet Muhammad (sa); a pure path that remains alive through a chain of saints and reformers who follow in the footsteps of the holy Prophet (sa) till the Day of Judgement, Insha Allah. Most certainly, the appearance of heavenly-imbued souls in every era of Islam takes place through the Will and Grace of Allah (swt)- a moment of spiritual rejuvenation and celebration for the spiritual seekers, Subhaan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar!

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, 07 March 2025 marks an important day in the spiritual life and Divine mission of Hazrat Imam Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius, the holy founder of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International. For, it was on this day and month in the year 2000 that an important, mystical dream was experienced by Hazrat Munir Saheb, a dream that foretold, in its own unique settings, the commencement of a special Divine Manifestation in the present era; the emergence of a ‘luminous moon’ [Qamaram Munira] in the darkened heavens of Islamic spirituality.

By the grace of Allah, a narration of Hazrat Munir’s spiritual dreams and visions of March 2000 is publicly available through the writings of an important direct witness-participant, Zafrullah Domun Saheb. In an official declaration dated 23 November 2005, Domun Saheb also wrote about other, related spiritual experiences reflecting on the nature of the mystical experiences and the early shaping of the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius.  Anyone who is interested in understanding spiritual phenomena would profit by paying attention to this extract from the Declaration below:

Al-Fatiha: A Commentary

The Quran is an ocean of knowledge and guidance for humanity. It’s very first chapter, an ardent invocation to Allah, embodies the essence of the Quran and the connection between man and his Creator. Surah Al-Fatiha, the opening of the Quran, is also referred to as Ummul-Quran (the Mother of the Quran). Indeed, Surah Al-Fatiha is so significant that without its recitation in every Rakah (cycle) of our prayers (Salat), those prayers are considered incomplete.

Therefore, Surah Al-Fatiha can be seen as a chapter enclosing the entire Quran, with the remaining chapters serving as commentaries on this exalted Surah. We must always bear in mind the profound importance of this Surah, as it holds the key, the solution, and the remedy to many seemingly insurmountable challenges, hardships, problems, and ailments. Reflect also on how, in Surah Al-Baqara, Allah declares: This is a perfect Book, containing no doubt, and it is guidance only for the “Muttaqi” (those who are pious, fear Allah and are conscious of Him).

Prophecy Continous: On 'Musleh Ma'ud'

The Messiah’s Promised Son

We express our gratitude to Allah, Who, through His boundless mercy, has always sent guidance in the form of His Books, His laws, and His prophets, messengers, revivers of faith, and reformers of His religion. When we reflect on the countless blessings Allah has bestowed upon humanity, we realise that we could never fully thank Him for all of them.

When we study the Holy Quran, we find that Allah has honoured the Ummah of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) with an exceptional distinction: Allah Himself established Islam as His perfect religion and named it Islam. Within Islam, unlike the nations of the past where Allah’s messengers and prophets were sent only to their respective peoples, we see that for Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) and all his spiritual progeny, this favour continues until the Day of Judgement. Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) and his spiritual descendants, the prophets of Allah from his Ummah, were sent not only for the people among whom he was born but for all of humanity.

After Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), Allah blessed his Ummah and all of humanity with the advent of  Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian, a small and remote village in India. He came as a prophet-reformer, which means that he and all those who came after Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh)—like this humble servant standing before you – cannot bring new divine laws. We receive divine revelations containing Allah’s instructions, yes, but these are not revelations that form a new sacred book like the Quran. The Holy Quran remains the final book of divine law, and all prophet-reformers of Islam are sent whenever people deviate from the teachings of Islam. Allah sends messengers and prophets like Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) and me to correct these errors and guide people back to the right path. The Quran remains the Quran, the perfect word of Allah, and the divine revelations granted to us, the followers of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), who have been favoured by Allah to become prophet-reformers, are revelations meant to guide people in our respective eras and to support and direct them towards the teachings of the Holy Quran.

Our Islamic Faith- 4

Ashhadu alla ilaha illallahu

wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan

‘abduhu wa rasuluh.

I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah,

and I bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is His servant and Messenger.

When we reflect upon the Deen of Allah [Islam], we realise that Allah has entrusted us, and even commanded us, to believe in everything He, our Creator, has instructed us to believe in. When He created us, He provided us with a place to reside. In this temporary world, He spread out the earth and placed within it an abundance of sustenance for our survival. He designed the skies as a canopy above us, serving as both protection and a source of water to quench our thirst, keeping both us and our environment clean.

Thus, we recognise that Allah is immensely generous towards humanity. He tests us through various trials. There are periods of drought as well as times of overwhelming rainfall, where the sheer volume of rain can wreak havoc everywhere. We see this exemplified in the great flood during the time of Hazrat Nuh (as), when the entire land (of his nation) was submerged. Hence, a creation of Allah can be a blessing, but it may also act as a tool through which Allah imparts lessons to humanity.

Follow 'Sunnah', Avoid 'Shirk'

Ashhadu alla ilaha illallahu wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.

I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (pbuh) is His servant and Messenger.

In our proclamation of faith, as Allah says in Surah Al-Baqara, Chapter 2, Verse 286: “The Messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. All of them have faith in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. [And they say] ‘We make no distinction between any of His Messengers.’ And they also say: ‘We hear and we obey. Forgive us, our Lord, for to You is the final return.’”

When a Messenger of Allah comes, especially a Messenger and Prophet who comes after the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his role is to hold firmly to the Quran and ensures that he guides people to the commandments of this best Book. The Quran is special because it represents the total sum of laws that Allah has ordained for humanity. It is not applicable only to a particular era but applies at all times, as long as there are people on earth. People have been given a perfect guide in the person of Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), whom Allah made a representation of the Quran on earth.
