A Celebration of Spiritual Revival in this
Era
23rd March is a
day of immense historical and spiritual significance. For it marks a momentous
event in the annals of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya;
it was on this day in 1889 that the Promised Messiah and Mahdi Hazrat Mirza
Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian, accepted the first Bai’at (initiation of
discipleship) of Hazrat Maulvi Hakkim Nooruddin Bhervi (ra). For devout Ahmadis, the spiritual relationship of Bai’at was not
an ordinary undertaking, but a pure Divine covenant,
fulfilling a sublime prophecy of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) regarding the
revival of Islam in the Later days.

Today, almost 136 years after the great spiritual event of the establishment of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya in 1889 by the then promised Massih Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian, his true spiritual legacy of Divine revelations is found only in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International. While Ahmadis remaining with the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Qadian as well as the Lahore Anjuman carry out the publication and dissemination of religious literature, just like every other Muslim denominational groups do in our times; Allah (twt) has blessed the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam with the fortune of being the flagship of the specially- chosen, Divinely-raised messenger of this Islamic era, the Fifteenth century of Islam, in the person of Hazrat Imam Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Al Massih Maoud Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius.
Hence,
today, as we reflect upon this sacred occasion of the first Bai’at, we are not merely commemorating
an event from the past, nor are we celebrating as Ahmadis did in history.
Instead, we celebrate the living truth of Islam in this era—a truth upheld not
by human hands but by the Hand of Almighty Allah (twt), ensuring the continuity
of divine guidance through His chosen servants, Subhaan Allah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar!
A Day
of Fulfilled Prophecy
The
Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) prophesied that, while many Islamic movements
would arise and fade, the true progeny of Salman Farsi (ra) would continue
guiding mankind until Qiyamah. This is the eternal Khilafat of Islam, upheld
not through worldly power but through divine decree, ensuring that faith
remains alive through each era.
The
Promised Messiah (as) came as the Divine Reformer of his time, and the system
of Bai’at he established was destined to continue. On 19th April 2003, the
first Bai’at was taken in this era under Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim (atba), the
Messiah of this era, and within a decade of this extraordinary spiritual event, the message reached the shores of India when in the year 2010, the Kerala Jamaat was established at the historic Noor'ul Islam Masjid, Mathra and subsequently, in the blessed Sirajum Munir Masjid in Tamil Nadu, we
witnessed another glorious manifestation of Divine truth.
Divine
Revelations of 18-19 June 2018
The great favor of Allah upon Hazrat Munir
Ahmad Azim (atba) was revealed on 18-19 June 2018, when Allah addressed him
with the following words:
"God
has filled you with knowledge so that you should warn those who have gone
astray and should lead those who dwell in darkness into light. O Munir Ahmad
Azim, I have bestowed a great favor upon you when I gave you the title of Amir-ul-Mu’mineen, and afterwards, I
gave you the title of Muhyi-ud-Din (Reviver
of Faith of this Era) whereby many people put their hands in your hand – indeed
it was not your hand but the Hand of Allah – to unite them all on the unity of
Allah."
This
revelation confirms that the revival of faith is not a thing of the past but an
ongoing reality. The Hand of Allah (twt) continues to guide believers through
His chosen Khalifa, just as He has promised in the Holy Qur’an.
A
Celebration of Divine Leadership
Today,
we celebrate not a human personality but the divine leadership ordained by
Allah. This day reaffirms our allegiance not to a worldly system but to the
everlasting Khilafat of Islam, led by the true living Islamic progeny in this
century. We take pride in pledging our Bai’at, knowing that it is not merely a
ritual but a divine connection, ensuring the continued guidance of mankind.
A
Prayer for this era and beyond
O
Allah, the Most Merciful and the Most Compassionate!
We bow
before You in gratitude, for You have once again manifested Your light in this era
through Your chosen servant, Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim (atba). Strengthen his
mission, bless his hands, and keep us steadfast in faith. Guide those who have
strayed, illuminate the hearts of humankind, and grant us the honor of serving
Your cause with sincerity and devotion.
O
Allah! Keep the spiritual progeny of Islam flourishing and let the everlasting
Khilafat of Islam continue until Qiyamah.
May
You always bless the believers with the light of true guidance and enable us to
remain sincere in our oath of allegiance.
Ameen, Summa Ameen.
A
Blessed Promised Messiah Day (Massih-Al-Maoud Day) to All!
