What work have I done so that You have bestowed upon me

Poem: 'If All the Seas Were Ink'

 

If all the seas and all the trees

Were ink and writing pen

And writing was the only business

Of all the women and men

If all the time they thought and wrote

And doubled the seas and trees

The words of Allah would never end

They may write as long as they please.

 

A 'Bisharat' on Rasulullah (sa)

 

[On Saturaday, 14th August 2021; before Tahajjud prayer, Imam-Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Al Mahdi Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius saw a Bisharat (true dream). The Bisharat runs as follows]: 

"I am near a tall building, on top of which was fixed an MTA Dish Antenna [at roof top]. I heard a voice from the sky; it is the voice of the Late Mother of Mr. Moosa Taujoo as well as the daughter of Late Hafeez Jamal Ahmad - Third Missionary of AMJ Mauritius [i.e. Marhoom Amina Sahiba]. She told me to remove this antenna from this building. I asked her, “Why?” She told me that this is not useful now. I am thinking [in myself], “Why should I remove it?” And then I told myself that AMJ has failed now, No more Noor-e-Ilahi and no guidance from Allah (twt).Then she repeatedly told me to remove that antenna. I told her that it is not in my capacity to remove this as it is fixed at the roof top. So, she [the voice] told me that she will send someone to remove the antenna. 

Then, I said that this is the time of prayer and found no one in this big/ large building, no one was there to give the Azaan. So, I gave the Azaan. When I said: Hayya alas-Salah, Hayya alal-Falah then I found many people started to gather. And then at the time of prayer, I asked them: “Who is going to lead the prayer?” The people told me: “You are the one to lead the prayer for you are the Imam of this era.” I said: “Ok, No problem.” I recited Surah Al-Fatiha, I forgot what Surah I recited after the Surah Al-Fatiha. 

After leading the prayer, my niece (my sister’s elder daughter Zeenath Rizwan Sahiba) came to me with a white paper and told me: “Mamu (maternal uncle)! Look at this paper. I am very proud of you.” The paper is white in colour and the message therein was written with black Ink – in bold letters: MUNIR AHMAD AZIM IS THE REPRESENTATIVE AND THE SECOND COMING OF HAZRAT MOHAMMAD RASOOLULLAH (PBUH).

The Signs of 'Al Abrar'- II

 

Divine Revelations of 24 July 2021

Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmed Azim (aba) of Mauritius received this Revelation from ALLAH Almighty around 6:10am, on Saturday, 24 July 2021 (after his Tahajjud with long Duah and then Fajr prayer, Duah and Dhikr felt a pain over his neck and then closed his eyes then he heard this voice):

"And you gave food, for the love of Allah, to the poor, to the orphans and to the prisoners."

"We gave you food simply to see the Face of Allah. We never seek from you neither reward nor thanks."

"We fear, from our Master, that Day when people will come frowned and very nervous."

"So Allah will protect them against all misfortune on that Day and will shower an illuminous light and joy upon you"

"And to reward you for your patience with paradise and silk garments."

"Allah's Shadow will descend very low upon them and also His fruits will be  at their reach."

'Ilham': Recent Divine Messages- V

Reproduced below are certain recent Divine revelations received by Hazrat Saheb (aba) on 30-31 May 2021. These messages from Beyond call our attention to the grim situation of the world: a world that has abandoned the protective shade of Divine regulations and has virtually embraced the lure of evil and inequity at the cost of peace, justice and fairness. Reminding believers about the duty to obey God and His messenger, the revelation underscores the need for an open and receptive mind that is capable of carefully listening and following the messages and advices that contain true life for the believers. What distinguishes a hypocrite from a believer is their contrasting attitudes to faith. Beyond verbal profession of belief, a true believer is seriously committed to the obligations of Faith. Such a believer diligently upholds God's commandments concerning just living in society, safeguarding the Amanat of Bai'at at all costs till their last breath in this world...it is such a community of believers that shall inherit the grand Divine promise on Fath-e-Islam in the Later Days, Insha-Allah, Aameen.

The situation around the world 

Time will come soon for great destruction. Some of my disciples have no food for themselves. 

 يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي اتَّخَذُوا هَٰذَا بروح القدس مَهْجُورًا ۝ وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِّنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا ۝

 

"Oh My Rab/Lord/Creator verily my people had abandoned this Divine Revelation [i.e. such revelations which came through the Holy Spirit], not acted on its teachings. Thus, from the sinful people We made enemies for every Prophet. Your Lord is a Sufficient Guide and Helper."

'Ilham': Recent Divine Messages-II

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim. Recently, we have shared some of the Divine Messages received by Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius in March and early April 2021, and the same can be read here. 

The revealed messages received by Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) this week- both before and after the Jumu'ah on Friday, 16 April 2021, contain within them a succinct summation of the Divine Mission being entrusted through him by Allah (swt) in this era, as well as the duties and responsibilities of the believers to follow and abide by the sublime guidance on offer. The message confirms once again that Allah (swt) has raised His Khalifa (the Khalifatullah) as the grand standard bearer of the Faith in this era, as a deputy of the Holy Prophet (sa), with a mandate to renew the Kalima Tayyibah of the Muslims in all its pristine glory: La Maqsouda Illa Allah; La Maabouda bi-Haqq Illa-Allah.

Unlike the disbelievers and hypocrites, sincere followers and disciples of a Vicegerent of God are expected to deploy their God-endowed reasoning and understanding in service of Faith and its obligations, including by standing up for personal as well as social reforms so as to remove all individual temptations and consequent social afflictions. Moreover, the message also alludes that just as the Holy Prophet of Islam (sa) escaped unhurt from all evil machinations and conspiratorial trappings of the disbelievers; the Khalifatullah (aba) of this era, destined to go through earthly trials at the hands of the opponents, shall also emerge victorious in the companionship of his true spiritual disciples and followers, in all joy and happiness, Insha-Allah, Aameen. 

Reproduced below are the Divine Revelations Hazrat Saheb (aba) has recently arranged to be shared with everyone, for the benefit of all discerning minds. Before the Jumu'ah, Allah (swt) revealed to Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) the following Revelations:

 

1. “You are the New Orbit”.

 

2. La Maqsouda Illa Allah: Turn only to Allah.

 

3. La Maabouda bi-Haqq Illa-Allah: Pray only Allah (one God).

'Ilham': Recent Divine Messages

Alhamdulillahi Rabbi'l Aalameen. Reproduced below are certain Divine revelations  received by Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius in March-April 2021, for the benefit and attention of all Truth-seekers. These messages contain profound thoughts on Divine Mercy, and Divine favours: urging us to lead our lives in awe of God; in peace and solidarity with fellow beings, recognizing the spectrum of Divine commandments beginning with the rejection of evil. Considering that Divine Elects are the practical exemplars of the Prophetic Path;  the raising of an Elect in any era is a great favour  as it leads to certainty of faith and blessings on the believers. Likewise, willful failure to recognize a messenger is a curse on the people who evade or avoid their duties in this regard, and they are rejected at the court of God. It is only those who frequently turn to God in prayer (and offer invocations), and do not blindly follow their own desires and flawed minds, will be able to appreciate the exalted Divine messages and benefit from the superior guidance of the All-Forgiving, All- Knowing Allah (swt).

Message received at Noon (Tuesday, 06 March 2021) 

Allah (swt) is the embodiment of truth. Truth emanates from Him continually without His being reminded of it. How can man with his limited intellect advise Him (God)? The current of His mercy is flowing everywhere. It is taking care of us of itself. It knows what is good for us. It is present everywhere. It perceives our feelings and hears us.

Revelations: 01 April 2021 

First Revelation in Chinese (and repeated in Arabic): 

All people and especially the Muslims around the world and in Mauritius to reflect the TRUE significance of Islam and the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam are reflecting HUMAN BROTHERHOOD AND SUBMISSION TO ALLAH’S WILL. 

The Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim of this era shed its brilliant rays on a world shrouded in darkness. This special issue has in mind this objective: Reflect a broad spectrum of what verily ISLAM is; offer to people at large in an objective and unbiased approach; the ethic of life, the jurisprudence governing MUSLIM, the quintessence of our spiritual enlightenment to remove us from darkness; our undivided love for our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) and our unflinching belief in the Unicity of Almighty Allah. 

'Barkah': Revealed Prayers

With the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful. Reproduced below are certain prayers taught by Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah  Munir A. Azim (aba) of Mauritius recently for the benefit of all believers in this period of special devotions ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. At a time when the Island nation is still under complete lockdown in view of the Covid-19 pandemic; these fervent invocations were Divinely- revealed to Hazrat Saheb (aba) on Sunday, 21 March 2021 at 4:25 pm soon after he delivered a speech on the true legacy of Hazrat Massih Maoud (as)].  

1.     O Allah, always preserve the Kalima Tayyibah on our tongue.  

2.     O Allah! Grant us complete Faith and always guide us.

3.     O Allah! Grant us Your blessings, light and favours in abundance during the month of Ramadan.

4.     O Allah! Send Your pity upon us, shower Your blessings upon us and grant us licit food.

5.     O Allah! Guide us in such a way as to lead us our lives completely in the religion of Islam

6.     O Allah! Let us depend totally upon You only, and not upon others.

7.     O Allah! Grant us the Lailat-ul-Qadr.

8.     O Allah! Grant us a Hajj Makboul and Makroor.

'Duah': Invocations to Allah- XX

First of all, I must thank my Rab for giving me such golden opportunities to make up to now, twenty sermons on the subject of “duahs” (invocations) for the benefit of all my sincere disciples, the seekers of truth and all our other Muslim brothers, sisters and children, and also for humanity at large.

As you are aware, humanity is in danger; so we need to pray a lot. Only Allah (swt) will save us from all kinds of difficulties, dangers, sicknesses, viruses, crimes, economic problems, etc. Insha-Allah. 

In this era, you all people are very fortunate to have a Messenger of Allah among you but alas few of you heed the message. Most people turn their backs to the divine message and blessings and scoff at the Messenger of Allah. 

So fortunate are those who recognize the divine blessings and accept with full sincerity the Messenger of Allah. And I can assure these sincere disciples that Allah (swt) will bless you and you shall be always in the care of your Rab and in the hereafter you will receive, Insha-Allah, a great reward from your Creator and Allah (swt) will be pleased with you and you also will be pleased with Him. And all those sacrifices that you are presently doing for His cause in this temporal world shall be boundlessly magnified for you in the eternal world of Allah. Ameen.

Now, I put before you again some of the revealed duahs during this present Divine Manifestation (our era of great divine blessings):

'Duah': Invocations to Allah- XIV

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I continue today the 14th part of my series of sermons on the subject of “duahs” (invocations to Allah). Today I present before you the duahs which Allah revealed to me before and after He raised me as His chosen one, when I was still in the Jamaat Ahmadiyya and also when I was expelled from the Nizam-e-Jamaat on the 1st January 2001. That fateful unforgettable year, on the 7th of January I reached the age of forty, and all that occurred in the realm of spirituality, along with all the persecutions and mockeries were life-changing.

Important Dream at the Beginning of the new Islamic Era

This reminds me of a great dream I had at the beginning of the new 15th Century Hijri, one year later in November 1981. At that time, I was quite young and was clueless about the Hijri Calendar and that a new century was opening for me, as a blessing but also as a lifelong struggle for the sake of Allah. 

I dreamt that four great personalities in white, being very handsome with beautiful beards and illuminating faces came to my parental house, and sat on the sofas which were of different colours. They came with very important news about my life, what shall happen to me in the future, but what I clearly remember after all these years [for I did not keep any written records of my dreams back then] is that they foretold about the great hurdles that I would have to go through in my life but that I must not worry because Allah will remove all these hurdles and be with me. Since I had seen that dream, I was very shaken and panicked and I was hesitant to relate this to anybody. After finally relating it to a good and well-respected Muslim neighbour of mine who had deep affection for me, the latter was awestruck by what I told him and considered this as a great dream and that I was one of the favoured people of Allah. He told me that was why he liked me very much. He encouraged me to relate that dream to my parents. Being worried by what I told her, my mother told me to give away a Sadqua, and to pray [which I did]. As for my father, upon hearing about the dream, he smiled at me, and gave me such comfort that all my worries flew away instantly. He told me that it was indeed a great dream that I had seen, but why must I worry because had not these personalities [i.e. the angels] say that Allah will always be with me? 

So, this was one of the most important dream I had in my youth, prior to being raised as God’s Servant. And Allah kept giving me true dreams and visions, which at that time I could not understand, but little by little when His Divine Manifestation touched me in a way like never before, when I was nearing the age of forty, Allah showed great love and helped me in great ways just like He promised, despite the attacks on my honour and dignity as a Caller to Allah [Dai-Illallah], as a worker and missionary of Islam Ahmadiyyat. During these hard times with the evil plots of a so-called [now ex] Amir along with the people around him, Allah revealed to me many duahs as a comfort to my soul.

The Attributes of Allah-XI

By the grace of Allah and the Tawfiq bestowed by Him, I have yet again the opportunity to continue to expound on the attributes of Allah (twa).

Hazrat Abu Huraira (ra) reported Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) as saying: “There are ninety-nine names of Allah; he who commits them to memory would get into paradise. Verily, Allah is odd [He is one, and it is an odd number] and He loves odd numbers.” (Muslim).

In the Hadith compilation, Sahih Al-Bukhari, it has been recorded concerning the beautiful names of Allah that they are ninety-nine, i.e. one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter paradise; and Allah is Witr (One, which is an odd number) and loves ‘the witr’ (i.e. odd numbers).

Allah is the Creator (Al-Khaliq); the Formidable Creator. This attribute points to the complex and astonishingly beautiful organization of constituent parts of the universe with their complete dependence on an underlying order [that is fundamental and very precise] that is found both in the cosmic universe and each atom or microscopic element.

Man’s part in this lies in acquiring in his soul not only knowledge of the whole and the minutiae of the parts of the physical universe but in knowing generically, and in detail, the arrangements of the spiritual universe – things such as the role and rank of the different angels, as well as the advent of the messengers and prophets of Allah and their ranks in the divine order.

Asma’ul Husna: The Names of Allah

The Attributes of Allah- Part X

Wa lillaahil Asma’ul Husna, fad’uhu biha’.

The most beautiful names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them. (Al-Arraf 7: 181)

Asma’ul Husna, means the most beautiful names, and the most beautiful names indeed belong to Allah (twa).

In a Hadith compiled by Imam Bukhari (ra), it has been narrated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: 

“There are 99 names that are Allah’s alone, one hundred less one. Whoever (learns, understand, and) enumerates them, enters Paradise.” 

The Attributes of Allah- IX

The 'Fall' of Hazrat Adam (as)

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah we continue today on the subject of the attributes of Allah, and man’s thanksgiving to Allah for the sublime favours which He has done to him. We thank Him by mentioning Him by His most beautiful names.

Through the favours that Hazrat Adam (as) benefited from Allah during his creation and also afterwards, it appears to us that the elite has with God states [stages, emotions & connections] that they do not share with any other, and that it is through them, excluding ordinary beings, that God executes His plan.

The fact of having eaten the [forbidden] fruit, and the fall on earth which followed, had indeed many happy effects. But how could this disobedience to Allah have had good repercussions, you may ask? Well, in paradise, Adam and his wife knew God only under His attributes of Provider (Al Razzaq), Donor (Al Mu’ti), and Benefactor (Al Muhsin), but in His Secret Benevolence (Lutfihi Al-Khafi) which presides over the divine plan, it pleased God to reveal Himself to them as The Magnanimous (Al Halim), The One Who conceals [faults] (Al Sattar), The Forgiver (Al Ghafur), The Indulgent (Al Tawwab), and the One Who chooses [His elect] (Al-Mujtabi) among many other attributes. His magnanimity in fact meant that He did not hasten to punish them for their act, which is indeed the characteristic of this attribute, which leaves a delay to the sinner (whether to forgive him afterwards and have mercy on him, or to better exercise His power over him by making him suffer a painful revenge).

Covid-19 Prophecy and the Ahmadis

In an important message on 16 May 2020 ~ 22 Ramadan 1441 AH, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius, addresses certain recent allegations and insinuations being levelled by the maulvis and members of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya (Qadian) in India. By converting a moment of sorrow at the death of an elderly, and admittedly, long-ailing member of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in Tamil Nadu in these Covid-times to parade their prejudices and hatred against the Divine mission of the Khalifatullah (aba) in this era; the Ahmadi mullahs in India have exposed their disgusting stupidity for all the world to see.

As graceless and repulsive as their pronouncements are, these decadent Ahmadis, in their own way, confirm the need for a Divine servant in these times, precisely to explain the Divine commandments on good conduct; to show them the path of ethical prudence and spiritual rectitude. In this important message, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (aba) eloquently and beautifully accomplishes this task: teaching Ahmadis on how to read and understand prophecies; the fulfillment of Divine promises amidst worldly trials; reminding Ahmadis about their own history- especially how far they have come to resemble the tormentors of their spiritual father, the Promised Messiah (as), in the way they behave and the way they speak about their fellow brothers- the true believers! 

It is interesting to note that the present caliph of the Jamaat-e- Ahmadiyya- Khalifatul Massih V Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad- himself has rejected any personal claims of Divine revelations concerning the outbreak of the global pandemics, nor has he got any assurance of security from God in these turbulent days, and in fact, he has given subtle expression, in a recent interview, to his latent, personal fears of being contracted with the Covid-19 virus by pointing to the fact that the man-elected-caliphs in the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya in the past contracted such deadly-diseases. Consider the refreshing contrast here: in his recent series of Friday Sermons as well as the special messages, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir A. Azim (aba) clearly mentions Divine revelations on the topic containing dire warnings on the enemies of God, His messenger (sa), and His Khalifa (the Khalifatullah) in this era; glad tidings of security and tranquility for the sincere servants of God in the Jamaat of Allah; and the spiritual path forward for the benefit of all truth- seekers around the world, Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.

Ramadan Mubarak 2020

My dear Muslim brothers, sisters and children,
Assalamoualaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakaatuhu.

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, a blessed month is coming to us in the hope that we, weak creatures that we are, we maximize our time in the worship of the true God, the Unique One, Who has no associate. The month of Ramadan has come once again, and it has come in a critical moment where many countries are on lockdown and facing much difficulties due to the novel Coronavirus, COVID-19.

Our duty as a Muslim is to help save the lives of people, and to act generously, with utmost kindness to re-establish the world order as envisioned by our Noble Creator. Allah has given you all an opportunity to turn to Him with great humility and to beg Him of His mercy and favours. Allah is All-powerful and kind. He has the power to change things, and for this, He has vested us with the power of invocations, and He has made incumbent on Himself to respond to the call of His callers who are true, sincere and devoted to His cause, especially in this era of Divine Manifestation.

Qur'an and Imam Azim (atba)

Imam-Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (atba) of Mauritius is a servant of God in our turbulent times. Deeply attached to the faith of ISLAM from his early childhood, Hazrat Azim (atba) devoted himself to a life of spiritual contemplation and preaching, helping people appreciate the beauty and merits of the correct and straight path in life to tread on. Even as he guided hundreds of people in different nations in the Indian Ocean Island States to embrace Islam through his preaching efforts in the 1990's,  as he turned 40 years of age in the year 2000-01 Allah (swt) took him under the wing of His Mercy, giving him scores of spiritual titles, and inspired him with special Messages for the attention of all humanity. Alhamdulillah,  the Divine Mission of Imam Azim (atba) now enters its glorious twentieth year of existence, Summa Alhamdulillah.   

When a servant of God appears on the spiritual horizon and begins his sublime preaching, it is only natural that the Holy Qur'an will emit a glorious light of its pristine teachings in support of such Divinely-inspired claims. Indeed, the whole Qur'an will testify to the veracity of the Elects of God, for both the 'word' of God- Qur'an- and the 'act' of God- raising of His representatives- cannot be incompatible. By the grace of Allah I continue the 5th part of my Friday Sermon on the subject of the attributes of Allah. So Allah tells us that He is Supreme over His servants. He has all the control and has absolute power. He has the power to destroy everything, He has the power to punish. It is He Who gives death and it is He Who gives life. And it’s Him Who made all of the arrangements for your protections so that you don’t destroy yourselves by His decree. And this is the subject that the Quran mentions in other places, that you have committed so many sins; so many sins that it would have then been completely appropriate that Allah eliminates you completely. It will be within His right to do so, not only you, but all forms of life.

In another place in the Quran, it is mentioned as a result that for every person, even if he is visible or hidden, even if he goes out in the evening or in broad daylight, Allah has placed watchers [guardians] upon him to protect him. To protect him from what? To protect him from the decrees of Allah.

So here we are dealing with what subject? In fact it is the very divine decree which gives life and it is the very divine decree which gives death. No one has the capacity to die without the divine decree. So if Allah’s decree calls you to your death, then Allah tells us that it’s His very Taqdir (decree) that protects us for a time and protects us from His other decree as well. Otherwise Allah is completely Supreme. He has so much power and ability that He can eliminate and destroy everything, but in fact it is His very decree that protects you from His other Taqdirs.

Coronavirus: Revelation and Reason

The quest for dominance and superiority is leading nations increasingly out of ethical restraints on scientific research. In the name of national security and military preparedness, States are seeking access to stealth technologies of all kinds- against future threats and unknown dangers. Prudential limits are being 'stretched' on every front, including to facilitate secret development of chemical and biological weapons. The dynamics of preemptive self-defence and the desire for acquisition of offensive capability is causing dangerous experimentation in well-advanced nations. Scientists are increasingly tinkering with nature and its resources- including plants and animals-, with profoundly negative implications and consequences for the well-balanced ecosystem that sustains life on earth. Viewed against this backdrop, the ongoing global pandemic Covid-19 raises larger issues before the international community. With more than 1.25 million people having contracted the infection, and the numbers keep growing and thousands of people dying on a daily basis; the epidemic is causing unprecedented social and economic disruptions around the world, triggering reflections on how we brought this catastrophe on our nations. 

As a man of God and recipient of divine revelations over the last two decades, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir A. Azim (atba) of Mauritius has been warning the world community about the dangerous turn in human affairs in our times. On numerous occasions, this Elect of Allah (swt) shared prophecies about calamities waiting to unfold, including through the outbreak of pandemics. For instance, while speaking against the backdrop of Influenza A virus on Sunday, the 10th of May 2009, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) presciently stated- sharing revelations foretelling calamities: 

'Troubling times, troubling times, troubling times, that which they asked for, the wrath from the Heavens will eat them from within, leaving no choice whatsoever for reconciliation with their own conscience. A calamity more poignant than poison will, manifest from their inside, affecting their body systems and rendering them powerless. You saw the consequence of the AIDS Virus; more viruses will come to manifest and one of them will be mortal, and without cure like I revealed to you long time ago. The world is at a critical age, facing perplex situations of how to save humanity from all sorts of contamination from the AIDS Virus. Now they will come face again all sorts of trials of this sort because of their disobedience to the Divine Will. Man and man will perish, widows will be seen lamenting, children will have no future whatsoever...Can you stop your Lord from doing what He wills? The sky is in lament for the earth has rejected the instructions of your Lord...'       

It is gratifying to note that distinguished scientists and concerned intellectuals confirm, through their own independent studies and reasoned perspectives, the essential truth of these divine revelations concerning the outbreak of a deadly virus/global pandemic impacting the whole humanity at large, Alhamdulillah. For instance, Bill Gates has been speaking about the need for the world community to be prepared for dealing with such a scenario, like he explains here. 

In a special message delivered on 31 March 2020, Imam Azim (atba) addresses all humanity,  putting forth very pertinent points central to the larger issues being raised in this context. In this important message, Hadhrat Saheb (atba) reminds the world nations, and the scientific community at large: 'Bear in mind, Allah will use your own inventions to punish you or He may send unprecedented forms of punishments to act as warnings for you so that you may return to the right path. The time is indeed critical.Reform your ways and return back to Allah [God Almighty]. Do not let evil get the best of you. Repel evil with goodness and with prayer.' Indeed, the good future of humanity depends upon a great transformation in individual and collective lives and outlook of people, a project that needs to be pursued with soulful prayer- sublime invocations like the ones revealed to Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) in the early days of the divine manifestation, during the SARS epidemic (2002-3): 'O our Lord, do not kill us with Your Anger; do not destroy us with Your Punishment; Save us before this happens.”

Khalifatullah’s Book on ‘Jihad’

Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International has just published a new book, entitled ‘Jihad: Reflections on Islam in the Times of Terror’. The spiritual treatise, compiled and curated by Fazil Jamal, brings together a number of Friday sermons and other special discourses given by Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim (atba) of Mauritius over the last decade on this vital subject. The discourses of Imam Azim (atba), originally made in response to contemporary international political developments- including terror attacks in the name of ‘Jihad’ perpetrated in numerous countries by radicalised Muslim youths-, throw searching light on the doctrine and practice of ‘Jihad’ in Islam, especially on the basis of relevant Qur’anic framework and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (sa).  

In his discourse on ‘Jihad’, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) agrees that widespread misconceptions exist around this important Islamic obligation among both Muslim youths and the non-Muslims. Hadhrat Saheb (atba) insists that whoever looks at ‘Jihad’ as nothing but indiscriminate violence against ‘infidels’ do not fully comprehend the real teachings of Islam. He points out that the Qur’an does not promote ‘Jihad’ as the ideology of coercive religiosity, nor does it stand for senseless violence. Likewise, ‘Jihad’ is not a weapon of aggression against other peace-loving people. In Islam, ‘Jihad’ is a resistance tool against oppression when recourse to the use of force becomes inevitable against recalcitrant enemies who take up sword to destroy the whole community of believers. Except in such rare circumstances of self-preservation and existential threat, Islam rejects the instrumental role of violence. Ideas being propagated in the name of Islam contrary to the above by some Ulema, as well as others, including anti-Muslim propagandists, miss the real point about Islamic teachings on Jihad, points out Hadhrat Saheb(atba). 

Revelations in Corona Times

'When the sentence of doom is given against them, We shall bring a creature out of the earth, which will speak to them: people had no faith in Our revelations'. (27:83)

'...It was not God who wronged them, they wronged themselves. Those who take protectors other than God can be compared to spiders building themselves houses- the spider's is the frailest of all houses- if only they could understand'. (29:41-2)

Novel Coronavirus. The global pandemic is an occasion to reflect on the dire state of our world: how precarious our calculations are, how deeply vulnerable we are. The hidden forces of nature can suddenly emerge to shatter our lives at any moment in time. Since the new virus was first identified in China last year, it has caused considerable international concern as it is spreading fast across regions, races and religions- Italy, Iran, South Korea, Spain, the United States, etc. The death-toll from the disease- that jumped from animals to humans- has crossed 7000 as of today, just as infection rates have surged in recent days. Now there are more reported cases outside of mainland China than inside, pointing to the evolving nature of this pandemic. [Inset: As part of a long-running effort to see what viruses bats harbor, researchers in China examine one temporarily captured in a cave in Guandong. (c) ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE].

Media reports show that countries around the world are rushing to implement emergency measures in an effort to contain the virus and enforce social distancing, including nationwide lock-downs, imposing border and travel restrictions, school closures and ordering restaurants, cafes and bars to close or reduce services. 'We have never lived through anything like this. And our society, which had grown used to changes that expand our possibilities of knowledge, health and life, now finds itself in a war to defend all we have taken for granted', Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez told Parliament. "This is a once-in-a- hundred-year type event," said Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, warning the crisis could last six months as his nation gears up for changes in life, as it is changing all around the world. The global pandemic is amongst the several disasters striking humanity today. As humanity stands humbled by the emergence of a microorganism, and the outbreak of a pandemic consuming thousands, we need to pause and it should also occasion an intense and thoroughgoing soul-searching amongst us on what is wrong with our world that is turning upside down on all fronts. The microorganism is literally 'speaking'/ asking us to reclaim the values of global inter-dependence and solidarity,  collective security, and shared progress. In a world riven by arrogant conceptions of 'national interest' and 'nation first' where 'leader' after 'leader' is speaking the language of racist intolerance and xenophobia, the reach of the epidemic is shaking the existing order to its core, bringing 'tall' icons down to their crumpling fate. 

Throughout history, Divine messengers brought sublime guidance on righteous living; they called their people to an exalted, heavenly destiny of inner peace, by recognizing the higher values of life and  respecting the restraints of Divine Law. Most people, however, are often dominated by a materialistic, 'earthly'-outlook on life, and they choose their fate by turning their backs to the pure messages on offer: the materialist outlook that these people embrace trigger evil impulses in its own way to destroy human soul, public health and the social order. We can reclaim our world only by reverting our preoccupations and lifestyles back to the path of moderation and balance as ordained by the Creator and Sustainer of the worlds, and by following the Divine Elects of our times who are there to lead us in the correct and straight path. In a Special Address delivered on 11 March 2020 ~ 16 Rajab 1441 AH, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hadhrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Munir A. Azim (atba) of Mauritius spoke about recent Divine revelations vouchsafed to him against the backdrop of the global pandemic: a message that contains perennial truths on the mission of the savants of Faith; good news for those who keep to the middle course in life; and for those drunk on pelf and power, severe warnings about the Days of God.
