You are my
intimate friend
my
aspiration
my joy
My heart
refuses
to love
other than you
According to a famous Hadith Qudsi, God says: ‘I was a Hidden Treasure and I yearned, I loved to be known intimately. So I created the heavens and the earth so that they may know Me intimately.’
A true believer
is a lover of God. By establishing oneself on Divine commandments and the
perfect example of the noble Prophet (sa) and the Elect of God of one’s era, a
true believer can aspire for a special relationship of friendship and spiritual intimacy with God
Almighty through a sound, purified heart: 'The heavens and the earth cannot contain Me, but the heart of My faithful servant can contain Me'. Sincere striving with pure faith and a grateful heart opens up the
gates of Divine mercy: 'So remember Me, and I shall remember you' (2:153). Indeed God loves an earnest, perfected soul when it seeks Divine
nearness with a tongue always moist with the remembrance of God. In a Hadith Qudsi, Allah (swt)
states: ‘He
who seeks Me, finds Me; He who seeks other than Me, will never find me; Pious
souls yearn to behold Me, I yearn more to behold them’.
The world would have been,
A golden gate to
paradisiacal serenity,
Were it not for the
feigns and false promises,
Of secular and
religious authorities who,
In the name of
politics, patriotism and union,
Leave behind their
conscience,
To delve into the sea
of fraud and corruption;
Oh how beautiful would it have been,
If with a true heart,
Each political
representative,
Of the multitudinous
countries,
Stand up in honour of
the world,
And all its
inhabitants,
And chant the call of
togetherness,
As one global people,
As one united nation,
In the best interest
of,
Humankind as a whole,
Every part of the
Universe is ever locked in the concept of Peace,
From the moment of
creation,
The word to have found
light in the Heavens was Peace
A piece of the heart is
engrossed in the meditation of Peace,
The every second which passes in concentration
of the Unique God,
Alights from the meaning of Peace,
The
mysteries of Your Love have driven me to Your door,
I hold
many universes in my Whole,
Some
say, it is mere pretence,
Some
say these are but the Imprint of Your Name the High
Which sizzles my very existence with Your Glorious Presence!
When the Ocean calls me in its deep waters,
In it I find the Arms of my Lord inviting me
To the
unknown places of the Known Kingdom,
He is the King and I am His Subject,
Yet He raised me up high to the Pleiades of His
pleasure,
And made me a Prince of peace,
Though I am not His Son,
But He is etched in me like a fiery essence of Love
and Light,
Guiding my every step to fulfilment,
He is my Port of Call, my Haven and Heaven,
Lo! How manifest is the Light of God,
Who is the Ultimate source of all Light
The whole universe is turning into a reflective mirror
For the eyes to perceive Him.
I became so agitated
In the beauty of the Moon
Were the traces of the beauty of my Beloved.
Under the influence of that consummate beauty
My heart is in a state of turmoil
Mention not to me
the comeliness of the Turk or the Tartar.
O my Beloved,
How wonderfully is Your
Creative power manifested
Whichever way I look I find
Every road leading to Your presence.
The
Beautiful Days are approaching,
When
you will be in the Holy Land, O Muslims,
In
the garb of pilgrims,
You
will get to taste the elixir of life,
Which
purifies one from all sins
And
brings one to the pinnacle of submission,
To
the Lord’s Will;
This
fortune has been opened for you,
O you travellers to Arabia,
Let
the sight of the Holy Ka’aba bedazzle you
Into
submission to the Almighty;
The pen of my Heart has written,
has written the thousand wonders
and the thousand Secrets
residing in my heart
The red pen of eternity
has tasted the black ink of its Lord,
The
master and the pen forming an indestructible pair,
In
the depths of the Heart revealing their interior,
So
brilliant and so dazzling
In the sun of his heart,
the master has found his Master,
Thanks
to the pen of eternity of his Heart,
The Master of the pious is at the door,
at the door of your Heart
Visible
is the light that shines in your eyes,
At the door of your Lord
you dwell day and night,
The
favourite of the humble you are,
In
this world you are not alone,
Because
your Master will always be there,
Your
life in His hands,
Your way in His footsteps
The Rise of the Sun & the Moon of Islam
The
World may be cut Asunder,
But
not my Love for You,
Your Essence
fills me,
And
grants me the elixir of Unity,
In
Your pure Divinity;
You
say to let go of the filth of this world,
And
come in Your embrace,
Devoid
of the temporalities of temporalities;
You
crafted a Being,
And
breathed in Your Soul,
The
Divine Soul will see through,
The
Trials of this world;
In the
Glow of a Setting World,
The Sun
will rise again,
To give
a Last Ray of Hope to the Universe,
The
cry, out of this world
Will
fill Your Universe,
With submission to Your Will;
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim
If a
Witch you think I am,
And
witchcraft is my Art,
Then let
me show you the Wonders,
Of the
great Wizard,
Whose
staff ate away,
The
serpents of unfaith;
If him a
Wizard you label,
Then a
Witch am I for God's sake,
The fire
of Moses is burning within me,
For it
seeks to purify me,
To the Core of my Being;
O Allah!
Your poor servants have come
to inquire about Your favours.
May they inherit Paradise
by virtue of the blessings of fasting.
That they may have the honour
of gazing at You in Paradise,
thus soothing their
aching hearts.
May You forgive us all our sins
through the blessings of Taraawih.
May You thus keep the Ummah of Muhammad (pbuh)
under Your protection.
Have mercy on us,
O the One filled with mercy.
Soften our hearts
with the
blessings of fasting.
It is certainly the most glorious month
among all other months,
the month in which
Allah revealed the Holy Book (Qur'an).
O Allah!
By the benefits of the reading of the Qur'an,
Protect the believers
against daily misfortunes.
Oh elusive presence,
where are you
If you are not with me then where are you
My eyes are
illuminated by you
My heart is also
acquainted by you
Come and invite my
eyes and heart
Otherwise draw a
sword and take my life
From all the beauty
and gifts of the universe
I see naught but
half a life
Why not lose what
remains with you
As without you
I do not need a hundred lives
Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
Whenever I think of You, my Lord
I think I fall in love
It seems the earth is pushing
up
You pull from far above
Your grace and Charm is what I
like
Your bounties I admire
My eyes and heart are filled
with You
What is more that I require!

Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
When the people of
Islam let the thread of
Unity go from their
hands,
They fell into a hundred
mazes.
We are dispersed like
stars in the world;
Though of the same
family, we are
Strangers to one
another.
