As a man of God and recipient of divine revelations over the last two decades, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir A. Azim (atba) of Mauritius has been warning the world community about the dangerous turn in human affairs in our times. On numerous occasions, this Elect of Allah (swt) shared prophecies about calamities waiting to unfold, including through the outbreak of pandemics. For instance, while speaking against the backdrop of Influenza A virus on Sunday, the 10th of May 2009, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) presciently stated- sharing revelations foretelling calamities:
'Troubling times, troubling times, troubling times, that which they asked for, the wrath from the Heavens will eat them from within, leaving no choice whatsoever for reconciliation with their own conscience. A calamity more poignant than poison will, manifest from their inside, affecting their body systems and rendering them powerless. You saw the consequence of the AIDS Virus; more viruses will come to manifest and one of them will be mortal, and without cure like I revealed to you long time ago. The world is at a critical age, facing perplex situations of how to save humanity from all sorts of contamination from the AIDS Virus. Now they will come face again all sorts of trials of this sort because of their disobedience to the Divine Will. Man and man will perish, widows will be seen lamenting, children will have no future whatsoever...Can you stop your Lord from doing what He wills? The sky is in lament for the earth has rejected the instructions of your Lord...'
It is gratifying to note that distinguished scientists and concerned intellectuals confirm, through their own independent studies and reasoned perspectives, the essential truth of these divine revelations concerning the outbreak of a deadly virus/global pandemic impacting the whole humanity at large, Alhamdulillah. For instance, Bill Gates has been speaking about the need for the world community to be prepared for dealing with such a scenario, like he explains here.
In a special message delivered on 31 March 2020, Imam Azim (atba) addresses all humanity, putting forth very pertinent points central to the larger issues being raised in this context. In this important message, Hadhrat Saheb (atba) reminds the world nations, and the scientific community at large: 'Bear in mind, Allah will use your own inventions to punish you or He may send unprecedented forms of punishments to act as warnings for you so that you may return to the right path. The time is indeed critical.Reform your ways and return back to Allah [God Almighty]. Do not let evil get the best of you. Repel evil with goodness and with prayer.' Indeed, the good future of humanity depends upon a great transformation in individual and collective lives and outlook of people, a project that needs to be pursued with soulful prayer- sublime invocations like the ones revealed to Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) in the early days of the divine manifestation, during the SARS epidemic (2002-3): 'O our Lord, do not kill us with Your Anger; do not destroy us with Your Punishment; Save us before this happens.”

(May the Peace, Grace and Blessings of Allah be upon you)
HUMANITY is in danger. My dear brothers, sisters and children, humanity is in danger. This is not just a warning now, but a fact that we are all living. As the Messenger and Caliph of Allah of this era, Allah has since the beginning of this era informed me that the world shall be seized in many ways. We have seen many such disasters which man terms as natural disasters, and the manifestation of viruses of many kinds.
Don’t ever think that Allah is not Merciful or Forgiving. Remember always that if disasters of many kinds are striking this world today, it is because of what the hands of man have brought forth. He destroys himself through his own evils.
Allah says in the Holy Quran: “Corruption has appeared on land as a result of people’s actions and He will make them taste the consequences of some of their own actions so that they abandon evil.” (Holy Quran; Surah Ar-Rum - Chapter 30, Verse 42).
But what makes it a divine sign is that before such a calamity strikes the world, Allah already informs this to His Messenger and he in turn, warns the world of the impending danger.
Remember that all living things are creatures of Allah, even viruses. In the Holy Quran, Allah talks about the partners which man gives to Allah in His holy worship. He specifies that creation, that is, creation from out of nothingness belong solely to Allah. No one, no false god, no scientist can ever create anything “out of the blue” without the permission of Allah. Only Allah has the ability and power to create. The creations which man boasts about are only temporary and are not creations which man created all by himself without the aid of anything else.
Allah says in the Holy Quran: “O people, an example is presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those you invoke besides Allah will never create [as much as] a fly, even if they gathered together for that purpose. And if the fly should steal away from them a [tiny] thing, they could not recover it from it. Weak are the pursuer and pursued. They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.” (Holy Quran; Surah Al-Hajj - Chapter 22, Verses 74 & 75).
What we are all living today in this present pandemic of the COVID-19, bear in mind that in the 20th century also, in the year 1918 also, such a virus appeared which took on the world and killed millions of people worldwide, including India (with around 17-18 millions deaths). This virus was coined as the “Spanish Virus” and killed over 50 million people worldwide as if the scene of the Day of Judgement was before the eyes of those who survived.
Allah is indeed Great and already informed His Messenger, that is, this humble self about the forthcoming disasters which shall seize this world. It is only a Messenger of Allah – after having received clear divine revelations – who can stand up to proclaim that such and such disaster is a divine sign or not. Man-elected leaders who do not have communion with Allah cannot stand up to make such important and critical proclamations. The Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) as a Messenger of Allah and Reviver of Faith of his era was able to do such proclamations and announce prophecies from the information and warnings he received from Allah to give the world. The same applies to this humble self also in this era of Divine Manifestation where Allah has raised His very own Khalifatullah. Let me remind you that in this era, we are witnessing worldwide destruction. It is not only confined to a section of a country, but it involves the whole country/ world. Allah has since the beginning of the Divine Manifestation given several revelations, one of which Allah gave me on 22nd June 2010. And beware, O humanity, remember what I had prophesised to you in my Friday Sermon of 29 September 2017 about the appearance of a deadly virus which will take on thousands and even millions of lives before a cure is found and administered to the people. I told you to stock on your provisions. Please listen to it once again…

O my Muslim brothers and sisters – and Humanity at large. Take precautions and stock your food because that which is coming, it may be that foodstuff may not be able to enter countries - buy, keep, and preserve your provisions, for with what is coming, beware lest provisions become scarce, and you won’t have any. Don’t say that too much is being bought and stocked! What to do with all these, lest many of these expire! [Don’t say this]. Think of what will happen in the near future. You don’t know, but I am informing you.
Another thing which shall cause the death of man – which I have to inform you – are illnesses. There shall be another virus, a deadly virus which shall appear on earth and cause havoc everywhere. Many people will die from this virus. People will hear about it, and will do research on it, but when they will go to analyse it, to inquire about it, and seek the antidote, by the time such remedy is found, many people would have already died - millions. Such is the image of the end of time (i.e. the Day of Judgement). What did you thought about Qayamat? It is not only that one day when everything would cease to be at once, but when millions and even thousands of people die, this is verily a Qayamat (Day of Judgement/ end of time) for them.
Take your precautions O my brothers and sisters. Make lots of duahs. Perform your Salaat/ Namaz (prayer) regularly and in addition to this, perform a lot of voluntary prayers also (Nafil Salaat/ Namaz). Fill your lives with invocations to Allah (i.e. duahs).
Turn towards (the) Religion (of Allah, i.e. Islam), read the Quran and give away lots of Sadqua (charity) – put into practice all that worship and goodness so that Allah may save us – because this shall verily be a (great) trial which shall overcome all mankind. The innocent also shall suffer.
So, Let us change our lives in a positive way to please Allah and not to attract His anger. Let us keep ourselves attached more to Deen (the religion - Islam) than to anything else. Let us attach ourselves firmly to Allah. Only Allah has the power to save us from these great calamities. Insha-Allah Ta’ala Al-Aziz.

And like I told you in my Friday Sermon of 27 March 2020, after getting clear revelations from Allah on the subject of this current virus which have made the world gone down on its knees, it is good also that I should mention that man seek to create viruses for two purposes: one for research and the other to destroy the world, using it as a biological weapon, especially in times of war, to gain power over the rest of the world.
So, dear mankind, fear your One God Who is Almighty and care for humanity and turn to Him alone in worship. Bear in mind, Allah will use your own inventions to punish you or He may send unprecedented forms of punishments to act as warnings for you so that you may return to the right path. The time is indeed critical. Reform your ways and return back to Allah [God Almighty]. Do not let evil get the best of you. Repel evil with goodness and with prayer.
I advise humanity as a whole to follow the clear instructions which God and His Messengers have told you to do throughout the ages. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had already said that “Cleanliness is half of faith”. Even the prescribed ablutions in Islam are preventive measures for all Muslims against harms of any kind which may touch them physically. Islam had since long taught us Muslims and given us the right guidance on how to keep good hygiene, and now Muslims and the whole humanity need to follow these guidelines so that they may stay safe from these kinds of deadly viruses and bacteria. But all this should be done along with prayer and having trust in the one true God and to lead a pious life which is empty of wrong thoughts and evils.
My call to humanity and all Muslims and also my disciples, never fear this virus, but you should fear Allah and fear His punishment if you are not sincere to Him. He alone knows what you conceal in your hearts. The sincere ones among my disciples and humanity at large have no fear to get from this virus if they are regular in their prayers and follow the divine guidance and put their trust in the promise of Allah. May Allah keep you safe and happy and work hard for the propagation of His Deen (Way of Life) in this world. Ameen. Summa Ameen.
