Rebellion against the Divine Manifestation

At such a critical time, in this era, Allah (swt) had enabled one of the believers of Hazrat Muhammad (saw) and Hazrat Massih Ma’ud (as) to be raised with such a Jamaat, Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to defend Islam, fight injustice and answer satisfactory the questions of the non-Muslims I come across concerning my claim as Muhyi-ud-Din, Khalifatullah etc. My enemies and the hypocrites got furious and in their rage which was quite out of proportion, they hurled abuses on me and dubbed me a drug addict, sorcerer, mischief-maker, dog, pig, liar and all sorts of names. My enemies even prepared a fatwa (religious decree to declare me a Kafir and false prophet). Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.

I do not see anything strange in it because that is what has always been done to godly people. It is only after some time has passed that their true position is recognized. I do not mind the fatwas of kufr and all sorts of names that are being issued against me, because through all these kinds of hardships, the people are only wronging their own souls, not the elect of Allah. The more they try to afflict me with their evil intents and deeds, the more Allah (swt) uses me to serve His religion and through this humble self He is able to establish the excellence of the Holy Prophet (saw), the Promised Messiah (as), and that of the Holy Quran.

I am of course only a like recipient in the hands of Allah. He does whatever He likes with this humble self, for when Allah chooses someone for His mission, then that being is wholly for Allah, and acts as per the will of Allah and everything that he does is through the permission and instruction of Allah. Everything has its measure with Allah. Every being has certain specific works to accomplish, as with the human messengers of Allah and also the angel messengers of Allah.

How to become good Muslims?

The Triumph of Divine Servants

Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) states:

When you find the Mahdi, perform bai‘at at his hand. You must go to him, even if you have to reach him across icebound mountains on your knees. He is the Khalifatullah, [he is] the Mahdi.” 

        - (Sunan Ibn-e-Majah, Kitabul-Fitan, Babu Khurujil-Mahdi, Hadith no. 4074)

The Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) says in Arabic:

Laa waliya ba'di illallazi howa minni wa ala ahdi-    There is no Wali after me except one who comes from me and has a relationship with me.  [“ Khutbah Ilhamiyyah”, Ruhani Khaza’in, vol. 16, pp.69-70; Internet Edition ]

The fulfilment of these Divine prophecies has taken place in our times, with the raising of Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius as the Khalifatullah, in complete obedience to the Holy Prophet (sa) and the Promised Massih (as), as per the glad tidings they have vouchsafed to the humankind in general and the Muslim Ummah in particular.

Ahmadi Elites and the Politics of Boycott

‘Will a Mujaddid come after You?’

A man asked this pertinent question to the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) on 29 September 1905, before noon. And he [the Promised Messiah] replied: 

“What is wrong with a Mujaddid coming after me? The prophethood of Moses (as) had come to an end, and that is why his chain of successors ended with Jesus (as). However, the dispensation of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) will last till the Day of Judgment through the Mujaddidin who will arise in it till the Day of Judgment. As long as the Day of Judgment withholds its destruction, there is no doubt that someone else could come. We most certainly do not deny that good and righteous people will continue to come, and then all of a sudden the Day of Judgment will come.” ( Ruhani Khaza’in, p. 16180 , Malfoozat. volume 4, page 452; (2008 edn.)       

  

Despite the existence and vital presence of this important instruction from the Promised Massih (as) in his writings, endorsed by the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya through its own series of publications, the Ahmadi scholars today challenge common sense. They assault the intellects of Ahmadis and their spiritual expectations. The Ulema and the chiefs declare with their own mouths that no Mujaddid will ever come, even in a new century of Islam. They, thus, foreclose the possibility of any discussion on spiritual blessings possible in this age. The hedonistic elites of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya in Mauritius enforce the policy of intimidation and social stigma on those who wish to know about the new Divine Manifestation.  

I ask these arrogant people who are taking themselves as great scholars in the Jamaat Ahmadiyya : Where have they seen that they must establish boycott? Is there a Quranic verse which stipulates to boycott someone who receives divine revelations and those who have believed in the revelations which he is receiving from Allah, and to expel them from the Jamaat Ahmadiyya and boycott them?

Prove this to me, or even show me a Hadith on this subject. Prove if you can, and prove also if even their family members had to break ties (of kinship) with them and not to greet them Salam and not to invite them. What law have they applied? The Quranic law? The rulings of Hazrat Muhammad ^(saw) and Hazrat Massih Ma’ud ^(as)? The law of the country?

Rule by Family Elites in the Mauritius Jamaat

Or have they invented their own laws to make people fear them, because the Jamaat Ahmadiyya of Mauritius is governed by only a handful of families:  Taujoo, Jowahir, Sookia etc.? As if there exist no other people in this Jamaat who can take care of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya in Mauritius.

Years go by, new years come, the same people are found at the head of the Jamaat! In the several programmes also, they are the ones to come forward to get honour, as if there are no other wise people, even better than them, who can come and address them on the question of religion! This is a Jamaat which is managed only by a handful of families, family feelings!

Ahmadiyya Khilafat and the new Mujaddid

Origins of Ahmadiyya Khilafat

After the death and departure of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) in May 1908, the Ahmadiyya Community invented and established the institution of Khilafat to continue the goodwork and divine mission of the Promised Massih. It is interesting to note that the Promised Massih (as) himself established the Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya for this purpose in 1906 and made it very clear that after his departure, the Anjuman shall be final decision-making body for the Jamaat. Yet, after the death of the Founder, all members of the Community including the highest governing body, agreed upon the institution of the office of Khalifatul Massih and elected Hadhrat Al-Haj Maulvi Hakkim Nur-ud-Din Sahib (ra) of Bhervi as the first Khalifa of the Community.

During the time of Khalifatul Massih Awwal, all Ahmadis worked together, as per the wish and Al Wassiyat of the Promised Massih (as). This was a period when devout disciples of the Promised Massih (as) known for their spiritual wisdom and religious knowledge and personal commitment for preferring faith above the worldly considerations were still around.

Contrary to the mistaken notion of most Ahmadis today, the Khalifa is not appointed by Allah (swa). He is appointed by an electoral college of prominent members within- the Majlis Shura. The system worked smoothly according to the commandments of Allah, the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad ^(sa) and Hazrat Massih Ma’ud ^(as).

One Hundred Years of the Split

Khilafat as an instition generally worked for the welfare of the members, especially in the early days. The Khalifa is guided by his chosen advisors and the Maulvis within. During the first Khilafat, all his administrative decisions were recorded as taken in the dual capacity of the President of the Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya. However, after the death of Maulvi Hakkim Nur-ud-Din Sahib (ra) in March 1914, the community split into two: the fraction led by Maulvi Muhammad Ali Sahib, a companion of the Promised Massih (as) refused to accept the leadership of the eldest son of the Promised Massih, Hadhrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad on perceived grounds of deviation from the teachings of the Promised Massih (as).

Attacks on Khalifa Sani and on the First Mujaddid

Islam does not subscribe to the infallibility of any man. Even the Messengers and Reformers are not the sons of Allah, nor are they partners in the Divine kingdom. They do not control life, not death; nor resurrection, nor are they immune from the trials and persecutions at the hands of the rebels and transgressors of their times. Weak as human beings are, it is Allah (twa) who chooses and raises His servants from among them and they serve their mandate according to the Divine Will and they move on to the home in the Hereafter when their assigned time is up in this world. In the true conception of the Islamic tradition, a Divine servant being attacked and/or killed at the hands of the enemies- rather than meeting with a natural death- does not cast aspersions on his lofty spiritual mission.

Yet today, a section of the Ahmadi Muslims- the proclaimed followers of the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as); the Lahoris and their fellow-travellers and also the new Mujaddid claimants- Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib of Pakistan/Germany and Dr. Nasir Ahmad Sultani Sahib of Pakistan/Sri Lanka - hold the belief that Divinely-appointed Reformers are absolutely immune from life-threatening attacks and/or being killed within a period of 23 years of their spiritual claims. They have tailored their spiritual doctrines to please their nafs’ desire of calumniating Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra) of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya¸ who met with such an attack on the fortieth (40^th) year of his Khilafat.

The Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam has always responded to the unfortunate insinuations that malign the just reputation of Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra).  Several articles in the Blog explain and show how the critics are wrong on several grounds of reasoning- Qur’anic insights, sacred prophetic traditions, viewpoint of the Promised Massih (as). In this article, after noting the murderous attack on Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra) and the view of his critics, we discuss the life and times of the universally acknowledged, first Mujaddid of Islam Hadhrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz (ra). It provides an insightful episode from the Islamic spiritual tradition for those who wish to reflect more profoundly on these matters and correct themselves of the doctrinal mistakes that they commit.

The Attack on Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra)

It was on March 10, 1954- exactly, sixty years to this day- that Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra) was physically attacked, in a murderous attempt on his life. In the words of Zafrullah Khan (ra), one can read an account of the events: 

Reading the Holy Qur’an

The Holy Qur’an is the central text of Islam and it has a cherished position in the lives of the Muslims. By learning and reciting the verses of the holy text in its classical Arabic on a regular basis since childhood, devout Muslims develop a poignant and intimate relation with it. Yet, the fact remains that the Qur’an is a complex text: the verses are inter-related and interconnected and were revealed in a specific context. What it actually says is shrouded in veils of assumptions and opinions as the Sacred Text is often quoted to derive or invoked in support of directly contradictory meanings.

In his Friday Sermon of May 17, 2013 the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius gave a profound discourse on the underlying norms and principles applicable for both believers and truth seekers in developing an interpretative relationship with the Qur’an. Purity of heart, an open mind capable of perceiving the larger truth, an understanding of the Divine scheme of things for the world, sincere striving in pursuit of the sublime meaning of the Divine verses-all these are essential starting points, indicates the Messenger of Allah of our times.

Zakaat and Financial Sacrifice

In his Friday Sermon of October 05, 2012 the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius underscored the significance of Zakaat as one of the pillars of Islam. Financial sacrifice is needed in the noble service of humanity and for meeting the manifold expenses of the growing spiritual community of believers- the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam. Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) exhorts the community of believers to assume personal responsibility and to contribute to the larger cause of Islam.

“My Friday Sermon shall today have a profound connection with financial sacrifice. By the grace of Allah, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam is doing much progress in the field of Dawa and the message is being spread in the four corners of the world, Alhamdulillah.

The message is being propagated, yes, but there are no Dai-Illallah or missionaries there (in those countries) to take care of these seekers of truth. The tree has been planted and is growing, but there is the risk of weeds coming to attack this tree, and dries it up. Why so? Because there is no gardener to care for those trees, to enable it to bloom and produce their fruits in the future. When there is a gardener, the weeds do not have the time to attack, and make this observation: that the weeds grow more in intensity and rapidly than the fruit tree. The fruit tree takes its time to grow, but when it has established itself firmly (in the soil), therefore nobody can uproot it and it brings forth lots of fruits.

The Concept of Khalifatullah

In his Friday Sermon of 25 May 2012, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (atba) of Mauritius gave a discourse on the concept of Khalifatullah or the Vicegerent to Allah on earth. The speech is especially important for Ahmadi Muslims to ponder over, for the extraordinary light it throws on the concept of Khilafat in Islam and the insights it provides on the circumstances in which the favour of Allah deserted the man-elected Khilafat system and resulted in the emergence of the current Divine Manifestation in Mauritius.  

Islam offers the spiritual history of countless prophets in the Holy Qur’an as a living testimonial to an enduring Divine practice: Allah the Most High raises His Messengers, who (did and) would call people to the sublime path of spirituality. These Messengers would teach people the Divine Word and invite them to partake of the Divine blessings that pour down like a heavenly rain on a parched earth. Depending on the depth of their immersion in the Divine waters, these holy men of God are decorated by Allah the Most High Himself with spiritual titles of magnificent proportions- Rasulullah, Nabiullah, Khalifatullah, Muhyi-ud-Din, Mujaddid etc.

“The word Khalifatullah can be explained with reference directly to Allah (swt) or with reference to an earlier prophet. The Khalifatullah is created on earth by the word of God and he is vicegerent to Allah, or a deputy to Allah. Hazrat Adam (as) is referred to as Khalifatullah and it (that is, the title and seat of Khalifatullah) came to its perfection in the person of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) and that also is the meaning of Khataman-Nabiyyeen. This is one understanding of the word Khalifatullah.

The Decline of Muslim Spirituality- II

The task of real spirituality is to restore the sublime faith in Allah the Almighty and to reflect the Divine attributes through the moulding of purified individuals. Islam perfected and preserved in itself the purpose of all religions which preceded it by recognizing the divine revelations of the past. Further, it channelized the continuity of Divine revelations through itself for all times to come. Leading the world on spiritual purification was the heavy responsibility cast on the shoulders of the Muslim Ummah by the Creator of the Universe. Contemporary Muslim leaders have failed to recognize the extraordinary magnitude of the task, nor could they preserve the solid faith of the early Muslims.

In his Friday Sermon of April 06, 2012 Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius continued his discourse on the ways in which true faith has deserted the present day Muslims. Drawing upon the prescient prophecies of the Holy Prophet (sa), he sketches the causes of spiritual decline. The preservation of the true faith and real spirituality is a Divine Promise engraved upon the Holy Qur’an by Allah the Almighty Himself. At a time when the sectarian divisions have proliferated among Muslims and the spirit of Islam has gone away from the life of Muslims, the raising of a Khalifa by Allah- Khalifatullah- is in tune with the enduring Divine practice.

“By time, indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.” (103: 1-4)

Like I explained in my sermon last Friday, history has proved that the first Muslims reached the highest degrees of honour and glory whereas Muslims today have taken the opposite route. It is clear according to these verses that the first Muslims reached such a dignified status in life because their faith was solid and they had excellent character.

In contrast, today the situation of the Muslims has become deplorable because there is lots of weakness in our faith and character. It is the opposite of what was found in the first Muslims. Therefore it would not be untrue to say that nowadays, we have just preserved our names as Muslims! In the same context, the truthful Messenger of Allah the Almighty, Hazrat Muhammad (sa) foretold: “There shall be a time soon when Islam shall exist in name only, and the Quran shall exist only in writing.”

Khalifa Sani and the Miracle of Survival

On the occasion of Musleh Maoud Day, the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius delivered a special sermon on February 20, 2012. The speech contains illuminating insights on the life and personality of the Musleh Maoud Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad, the  Son and Promised Reformer from the family of the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). The first instalment of this important speech was published on February 23, 2012 and is available here. The speech is also significant for the powerful and unassailable spiritual arguments the Khalifatullah brings forward in defence of Hadhrat Musleh Maoud (ra), especially in the backdrop of the objections being raised against his divinely-granted status by Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib of Germany who claims to be the Mujaddid of the era].

Responsibilities of a Muslim

In his Friday Sermon of January 13, 2012 Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) spoke about the distinctive characteristics of a real believer and the manifold responsibilities the membership of his Jamaat entails today. The Khalifatullah defines the basic framework of faith and good deeds expected from the believers who accepted (or seek to recognize) his divine office and become members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam.

‘The distinctive characteristic of a member of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam should be undivided and consummated attachment to Sahih al Islam; and this devotion should control his life to such an extent that the slightest deviation from God’s laws is abhorrent to him’, states the Khalifatullah.

“A member of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam is a Muslim who believes in One God, Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi whose advent had been foretold by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) and in the Khalifatullah and Muhyi-ud-Din raised by Allah in this era with Divine Revelation.

The Khalifatullah of this era (that is, this humble self) is a Messenger of God. I call upon all mankind to accept the truth of my divine office; but this is not all. Islam is a practical way of life which demands total resignation to the teachings of the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa). The attainment of this deal must be the resolve and goal of every member of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in whose life the principles of Islam should be manifested in every manner of living. The real object of man’s life according to the Holy Quran is, therefore, a true knowledge and worship of God and a total resignation to His will that whatever is said or done is said or done for His sake only. What is the Sahih al Islam? It is the burning fire which consumes all low desires and, setting fire to false gods and it is the offering of our property and honour as a sacrifice before God. It is that sacred fire which burns all papers of trials to uncover the face of God Almighty in the true believer’s pure golden heart.

‘Janbah Sahib, Your Days Are Counted’!

In the aftermath of the Mubahila Challenge issued by Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius against the Mujaddid claimant Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib of Kiel, Germany and his disciple Mansoor Ahmed Sahib, the opposite parties concerned are adopting diversion tactics to avoid the Challenge altogether and thereby evade the inevitable, if possible! Indeed, the Mubahila challenge has hit them very hard, so much so that the response shows either they are out of their minds or stupidity has no limits!

How else can one explain a situation where the challenge is raised by a Divinely-raised Imam and the response is to take the focus away from the issue altogether? The Mubahila Document was sent to the last known address of Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib on November 24, 2011. Instead of promptly accepting it as a golden opportunity to prove his worth with Divine Help and succour and signing and stamping it with his official seal, the Janbah Sahib sat over the matter for more than a couple of weeks. He later, issued a very vaguely-worded, decision to accept the Challenge on December 10, 2011.

While in his statement Janbah Sahib merely expressed a wish to see this humble person’s signature (Fazil Jamal) on the Document based on my previous critical notes on his claims and requested to the Khalifatullah for the separate inclusion of my name in the Document, his disciple Mansoor Ahmed Sahib has later elevated the wish/request of his Guru into a legitimate demand initially and now, a condition precedent for the signature of his own and that of his Guru! So much so that unless I sign on the Document, they would not dare to sign it!!

The Curious Case of Mansoor Ahmed Sahib

Mansoor Ahmed Sahib, the disciple of the Mujaddid claimant Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib of Kiel, Germany has been and is at the forefront of articulating the viewpoint of his Guru on various spiritual matters. On the question of the fulfilment of prophecy Zaki Ghulam/ Musleh Maoud, Mansoor Ahmed Sahib kept writing in the last year or so, the responses from his Guru’s perspective on the issues and points raised by the Imam of the Age Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib of Mauritius (atba). In his polemical writings defending the position of his Guru, Mansoor Sahib has had no qualms about describing people who differ with him and follow a different interpretation as “religious criminals”.   

It is no accident, then, that the Imam of the Age has decided to include his name along with his Guru in his Mubahila Challenge of November 21, 2011. A month after the declaration of Mubahila Challenge, the Document remains yet ot be signed by the opposite parties concerned- Janbah Sahib and Mansoor Ahmed Sahib. 

In stead of promptly accepting the challenge and signing on the page prepared by the Imam Sahib, Janbah Sahib and  his disciple are manufacturing excuses to look for avoiding the Challenge altogether. Is it to delay the inevitable destruction of their agenda at the Court of Allah? In his public statement of December 10, 2011 Janab Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib gave expression to his intent to accept the Mubahila challenge along with his Jamaat with a rider. He did not sign the Document citing that the signature of this humble person (Fazil Jamal) is not included in the Document as though without my signature, the Mubahila cannot proceed at all!   

The Argument of Last Mujaddid

The coming of Prophets and other Elects of Allah for the guidance of mankind is a perennial theme in spiritual history. The Holy Qur’an says that such servants of Allah have always been raised among all communities and every people have had their own divinely-guided souls. “And for every people there is a Messenger” (10:48, 13:08; 16:37). A well known tradition from the Holy Prophet of Islam (sa) indicates that hundreds of thousands of Messengers have passed away before his own advent.   

As the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) was himself a chain in the grand Divine scheme of guided souls leading common people in the path of Allah, he gave the glad tiding of the continuity of divine revelations and the coming of other Elects of Allah in future. That is why the Promised Messiah (as) wrote in his book Izala Auham that the door of coming of Messiahs will remain open and never close. He further said:

“I am the claimer of Promised Messiah, and this is not the only claim of mine, that only I am the one and the last Promised Messiah. Hence, according to me it is possible that after my age (time period) ten thousands (10,000) Promised Messiahs shall come. But for this age (time period) I am the Promised Messiah.”

He then, writes:

 “It is also evident that this view is not mine alone. The ‘mirror images’ of the Massih could be several persons’- This is also not just a personal opinion of mine. This is actually the essence of the great prophetic traditions in this regard. There could be around 30 Dajjals till the Day of Judgement. Thus 30 Dajjals might appear in the world. Based on the prophecy “Li Kulli Dajjalin Isa”, atleast 30 Massihs should come. Due to these descriptions, the other Massihs will make an appearance at some other time. All this is perfectly possible”.   (Izala Auham, pg.197)

Today, Ahmadis have completely moved away from the real spiritual path of Islam which anticipates the coming of Elects of Allah in every age. Forget about 10,000 Massihs or even the comparatively smaller figure 30 Massihs, mentioned by the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as), his own so-said Jamaat has discarded his teachings by the way side. They do not even expect a single Massih to come in their midst now as they feel they have an elected Khilafat system which is designed to last till the Day of Judgement in the fashion of the Christian Khilafat. Already, they have declared the Promised Massih (as) as the Last Mujaddid before the Day of Judgement. Such thinking is in line with the mentality of other peoples of the past who also thought that after their Prophet, no one will come in future!

JUSAI, Kerala: Three Day Camp at Mathra-I

Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala conducted a Three-Day Camp on the occasion of the historic inauguration of the Noor’ul Islam Mosque at Mathra, July 22-24, 2011. Members of the small Sahih Al Islam Community in Kerala participated with much enthusiasm and spiritual fervour and spent time together discussing many issues and learning about spiritual verities. It was almost like a family get together of the Sahih Al Islam members in Kerala, with women members of the Jamaat (Siraj Makin) also being present.  [The first part of a Report is being uploaded here.]

With the arrival of delegates from different parts of the State on the morning of Friday, July 22, 2011, at the home of Jamaluddin Sahib, the Amir/Jamaat at Mathra, the Member Registration Process began at 11 a.m.  The Amir Sahib and his family informally welcomed everyone and interacted with all those who were present. By the time of Jum’ah prayers at 1.00 p.m., 17 persons were registered at the Counter, including a few non-Members.

For the Jum’ah sermon, the Amir Sahib selected an important sermon of the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) that explained the coming of a Khalifatullah in the light of Qur’anic verses and the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) and the explanations thereof by the previous Mujaddid, Hadhrat Ahmad (as). In brief remarks at the end of the sermon, the Amir Sahib formally declared the Three-Day Camp open.

Divine Signs for the New Massih

In the time of a Messenger of Allah, innumerable signs appear in favour of the Divine Manifestation. Even people who are not prophets might be blessed with divine revelations in favour of the truthfulness of the Messenger. The Holy Qur’an provides an instance: “And remember My favour when I inspired the disciples saying, ‘Believe in Me and My Messenger’, they said, ‘We believe and bear Thou witness that we have submitted’” (5:112). Likewise, the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) was vouchsafed the following revelation: “People, whom We shall direct through revelation, will assist you” (Brahin-e-Ahmadiyya).

In a speech on June 22, 2011, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius shared with the world the revelations received by one of his disciples. Read the extracts from the Speech:

The revelation is for the Prophet of Allah and Allah has instructed the person to tell this message to the Prophet of Allah. When receiving this message, the disciple of the Khalifatullah felt her chest squeezed (and heart beating fast) and she felt anguish physically restricting her from speech. The feeling persist till after Witr prayers, and it was after that her tears were shed silently that she was able to speak. The revelation (originally in Creole) is as thus:

Translation: “O Prophet of Allah (x3)! When you need information, search it with people possessing Taqwa, who have the fear of Allah in their heart, who are pious, who tread on the right path. Be careful!”

Thereafter, Allah makes her understand that there is a verse in Surah Al-Hujarat which therein is the same message. “Be careful! Be very careful! Do not take information here and there. Search it with people possessing Taqwa, who have the fear of Allah in their heart, who are righteous. Look for your information, O Prophet of Allah (x3)…”

Munir A. Azim: Expulsion and After

Ahmadi Muslims believe that the door to prophethood is always open till the Day of Judgement. This is based on what the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) clearly stated: 

“I have never claimed that being Massih will terminate on me and no Massih will come in the future. On the contrary I admit and say repeatedly that not only one but more than 10,000 Maseeh can come”. (Azalah Auham, RK, vol. 3, p. 251).

“I do not deny this, that also some other "Maseel Massih" may also come in addition to me”. (Majmooa Ishteharat, vol. 1, p. 207)

“I cannot deny and I will not deny that perhaps there may be some other Massih Maoud”. (Majmooa Ishteharat, vol. 1, p. 208 )

In several other writings as well, the Promised Massih (as) clearly spelled out his understading of the continuity of Divine Revelations and the advent of noble souls with spiritually -infused messages even in future. Such persons will confirm the everacity and truthfulness of the larger message of Islam as explained by the Promised Massih (as) in our times. As per his prophecies, the Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya was established to continue the good work of propagation of Islam. Yet, the theory of Khilafat as is being propagated by sincere followers of the Jamaat system has now come in conflict with a Divine prerogative. Most Ahmadis, however, today believe that only an elected Khalifa of the Jamaat has the "credentials" to such lofty Divine favour as Mujaddidiyat and because of this perception, they reject the Divine favour on offer from Allah (swa), without even extending the courtesy of spiritual humility, careful deliberation and deep contemplation that is the hall mark of true Muslims, when someone stands up, confirming the teachings they have with them. Hence, for the "grave crime" of claiming to be a recipient of revelations from Allah the Most High, Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius was expelled from the Nizam-e-Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya on 01 January, 2001. 

When the Nizam-e- Jamaat abandoned him, Allah took care of him and elevated him with a position of nearness to Him. In January 2003, Allah gave him the titles of “Hazrat” and “Amir’ul Mu’mineen”, and blessed him with a Jamaat whose name was revealed to him, Jamaat-e Ahmadiyya Al Muslimeen. On December 06, 2003, announcing the mission of being the Muhyiuddin of the Era, Hazrat Sahib famously declared:

“I want neither pelf nor power. I have been commissioned by Allah as a warner unto mankind, to deliver His Message to you. Should you accept it, you shall have felicity in this life as well as in the life to come. Should you reject the word of Allah, surely Allah will decide between you and me. As from today, I take Allah as my witness that I am the Muhyi-ud-Din of this era.”

'Opinions of the Khalifa are not Gospels'

One question that troubles many common Ahmadis when they hear about the appearance of an Elect of Allah is this: How can there be a new Massih when the Ahmadiyya Khulafa have written and taught us differently?  In a recent speech, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib has addressed the matter from a Qur’anic perspective: 

“Now, one must bear in mind that opinions of someone cannot be considered as the TRUTH unless his words are revealed words from Allah. This is especially true in our case, just like it was in the times of the Promised Messiah (as). The Promised Messiah (as) confirmed the words of the Qur’an and the Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) when he did not close the doors of revelation, prophethood and Mujaddidiyat.

It must be borne in mind that while some of the Khulafa of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat have given their personal opinions on the questions of the coming of Mujaddids, that there shall never be again a Mujaddid who shall come after the Promised Messiah (as). But, has not the Promised Messiah (as) refuted all their claims himself by saying, that had he not come, Allah would have sent another one as Messiah for the fulfilment of this divine mission? Moreover, had he not say that even after him, it is quite possible that there appear 10,000 Messiahs?

Water versus Tayyamum

“When we have water, why look for Tayyamum?”

An Ahmadi Maulvi raised this question when a member of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala recently met him with the message of Allah in this age. He was obviously alluding to the current Ahmadiyya Khilafat as “water” and the coming of the Elect of Allah as “Tayyamum”. The larger question is this, what kind of “water” are you using now?

In a recent speech, Hadhrat Khalifatullah explicitly observed:

Do you realize that the “water” you are taking to do your “Wuzu” has become as filthy as the water from the toilets? Will you then prefer to do Tayyamum, which is made with pure soil or sand and which has been commanded by Allah (and mentioned in the Holy Quran), or would you prefer to do “Wuzu” with water which has become filthy, or sewage water or even water (though clear) but which is found in toilet pits? 

Today, the Khalifa is ready to expel good people while all fraudulent and dirty people are found in the Jamaat. The Khalifa has become just like the Christian priest who assures the adepts of his church that after confessing to their sins, then he also will throw a little “blessed water” on them and Lo! their sins would be forgiven! The Ahmadis have become blind to all the corruptions and frauds which have entered into the Ahmadiyya Jamaat. That is why some still think that “When they have water, why is there the need for Tayyamum?”

Mubahila Challenge to Janbah Sahib

In a speech after Esha Prayers on June 17, 2011, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib of Mauritius challenged Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib of Germany (the man who claims to be the Mujaddid of the Century- Photo down below) to a Mubahila duel.

The challenge came in the backdrop of the latter’s rejection of the divine mission of the Khalifatullah. Further, Janbah Sahib has been maligning the reputation of Hadhrat Khalifa Sani Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra) and is propagating that he met with an accursed death because of his claim of being the “Musleh Maoud”. 

In the Friday sermon of January 21, 2011, Hadhrat Khalifatullah called the attention of the Janbah group to the deep mistakes they were making in the matter and asked them to desist from pursuing with the smear campaign against a servant of Allah and to read the Holy Qur’an profoundly so as not to fall prey to the passions of man. The sermon was in the context of what Janbah Sahib replied personally to Shabeeb Hanif Sahib of Kerala.

On March 13, 2011, Mansoor Ahmed Sahib, a disciple of Janbah Sahib issued a response to the Friday Sermon of January 21 with a grand title, "Lion of God".  Hadhrat Khalifatullah promptly refuted both the disciple and his leader on March 25, 2011. Hadhrat Sahib further invited Janbah Sahib to come forward in a challenge. 

In articles published here at the Sahih Al Islam Blog, on May 02-03, 2011, we have shown the falsity of the argument that the Qur’anic Law regarding the punishment of false claimants of divine revelations is fulfilled in the case of Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra). Subsequently, Mansoor Ahmed sahib issued a refutation on May 17, 2011 at their official website even as Janbah Sahib remained behind the curtains.

Time has now come to unmask a satanic theory and its proponents and to distinguish the “Lion of God” from “religious criminals”.
