The Sign of ‘Surah Al Munafiqun’

One of the most astonishing ways in which Allah (swt) revives and renews the message of Islam in this era is through inspiring His devoted servant and chosen messenger Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius with the pure revelations of the Holy Qur’an- the Divine book of wisdom and guidance for all humankind. Hence, on countless occasions in the last two decades, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) has been bestowed in revelation many of the phrases, ideas, and even entire texts of the Qur’an in original. These revelations have come not just when the Khalifatullah (aba) is ‘Alone with the Alone’, in the chamber of his utter devotions and soulful worship of the Divine; but also in the company of his humble disciples and followers (like many of us in India have witnessed during his visit to the Noor’ul Islam Masjid, at Mathra in December 2018).

Indeed, as early as 24 December 2000, when Mr Mohammad Ameen Jowahir of the Mauritius Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya trumped up charges for the expulsion of Hazrat Munir from their Nizam for being a recipient of Divine mercy, inter alia, it was, however, acknowledged that ‘on occasion Mr. Munir received as revelation Surah Ibrahim in its entirety’. Two decades later, the verdict of time is pretty-much Chrystal-clear: Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius continues to be immersed in Divine waters and remains a recipient of sublime revelations for the benefit of true believers.  

On 17 July 2021, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) received the message of Surah Al Munafiqun almost in its entirety, in Divine revelations vouchsafed to him, Alhamdulillah, Allah-u-Akbar. The revelations underscore the need for believers to guard against the problem of Hypocrisy. The Munafiqun (Hypocrites) hide behind the facade of religiosity- by adopting pietical pretences- in order to create impediments in the cause of the Divine Way. They remain among the believers to sow the seeds of doubts and disputes concerning the Divine cause, and try to deviate people by making them afraid of mundane losses- of their material riches and resources, of dominance and sovereignty in the land, social esteem and public prestige- by obeying God's messenger through caring for, and sharing with the humble followers. Instead of active engagement to benefit the poor, the Hypocrites would try to break the chain of social linkages in the new community so as to retain their own prestige and esteem. On the other hand, the Divine revelations remind us that all treasures and honours of this world and the world to come ultimately belongs to God, and hence, to the Messenger and the believers, and that unlike what the Hypocrites are calling to, it is through God-consciousness, prayer and selfless good deeds such as charitable giving and service to others that the bliss of Divine pleasure and mercy need to be sought. Indeed, it is for the believers to be mindful of these teachings so as to benefit from them in life's complex social settings, Insha Allah, Aameen. 

The Fallacies of Maulvi Abdul Ghany

The leaders and scholars of the Nizam(e-Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya) are today guilty of giving credence to self-serving, dynasty-perpetuating, 'doctrinal spin' on important questions of theological matters that impinge on the very foundations of true Islam. The teachings of Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) highlighted the significance of Divine guidance as true guidance and today those who claim his legacy stand to deny the same 'by other means'. For clinging to their earthly 'positions', these leaders and scholars trample upon perennial Qur'anic teachings and would have common folks to believe that Allah (swt) stopped the enduring practice of raising His Elects in support of Tawhid. They would prefer everyone to consider that a man-elected-man is 'superior' to a Divine Elect, raised by Allah (swt) Himself in this era! 

In a recently published book entitled "Towards the Understanding of Prophethood and the Fallacy of the Hypocrites", Imam Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah, Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (atba) of Mauritius corrects these doctrinal mistakes, interpretative anomalies and argumentative fallacies committed by the so called Ahmadi leaders and scholars. The central question of continuity of Divine revelations in the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya had for too long been kept under the carpet by these chiefs and now their ways are being challenged by a servant of Allah (swt), speaking with the help of Rooh-il-Quddus.  The book in this context puts under scanner the reality of certain statements and pronouncements made by Khalifatul Massih Mirza Masroor Ahmad Sahib in one of his recent Friday Sermons. 

The Book also takes apart the article written by maulvi Abdul Ghany Jahangeerkhan. Ever since the advent of the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius, the maulvi had been at the forefront of efforts to extinguish the light of Allah from among the Ahmadis in Mauritius. Like the original Iblis in the times of Adam (as), he tried his worst to confuse and deviate as many Ahmadis as possible. He feared that common Ahmadis recognizing the Divine Light among them might turn upside down the very edifice of mundane chiefs to whom he was beholden. Sensing 'danger' to entreched fiefdoms, he cared far more to please his 'masters' at home and abroad than to bow before the wisdom and judgement of the Master of the Universe in raising a Messenger among them. In ringing Orwellian style of a rank hypocrite, he co-opted the 'language' of faith to deviate people from the faith!

Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya at the Cross-roads of Time

By the grace of Allah, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam is today celebrating its Jalsa Salana in the north of Mauritius. It is an historic Jalsa Salana in the annals of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam whereby a hundred years have passed since our ancestors first accepted the Promised Messiah of the past era, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). And all this came to be as per the plan of Allah (swt) for this little island, such an island which is difficult to see on the world map. And today, Allah has raised another of His Messiah who is present amidst you today to celebrate this centennial celebration of the message of the past Messiah in our little island.

Allah (swt) has wished for His Messiah and Khalifatullah to celebrate the Jalsa Salana 2015 together with the seekers of truth of this era. And Allah (swt) gave His chosen servants that great honour to be foremost in the grand event of this year 2015, and thus the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam was the first to be able to publish a centenary magazine on the subject, launched it and organised also several conferences around the island in different villages, accompanied by social works as well.

Therefore, this Jalsa Salana holds another status and importance today. It is a Jalsa which shows the results of this centennial year, for it is the Caliph of Allah (Khalifatullah) who has received this true blessing from Allah to honour those who toiled hard, made sacrifices over sacrifices in 1915 to receive the message of the Promised Messiah (as). When they accepted that message, they had to undergo all kinds of trials (for the sake of their faith). Their trials and sacrifices did not go in vain.

It has borne its fruits in this very same island, and at the beginning of this century, Allah has raised His Messiah, His Muhyi-ud-Din, His Khalifatullah. You like it or not, but the fact remains that Allah raised this humble servant and Allah has decreed: “It is My Caliph (Khalifatullah) who shall have the upper hand over all other Jamaats”. The latter have failed because of their arrogance, boastfulness and more specifically because of their refusal to accept the Khalifatullah of this era and to believe in the revelations he receives from Allah. They have moreover given their idol foremost importance (instead of Allah and His signs). Thus ensured the results which they are now receiving/ witnessing, but Allah (swt) is verily showing these to them so that they may know that it is in the simple ways and without exaggerated expenses that they can make progress. But instead what do these people do? They are wasting (valuable) money of the contributors who contributed in the path of Allah.

Allah (swt) has enabled His Khalifatullah to honour this centennial event and made him (i.e. this humble self) the key person in all aspects to receive this privilege. The Jamaat Ahmadiyya (mainstream) lost this divine honour, for despite that they are celebrating that centennial event, yet there is no spiritual flavour, no spiritual juice in it, just like a withered orange devoid of juice. 

Ahmadi Elites and the Politics of Boycott

‘Will a Mujaddid come after You?’

A man asked this pertinent question to the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) on 29 September 1905, before noon. And he [the Promised Messiah] replied: 

“What is wrong with a Mujaddid coming after me? The prophethood of Moses (as) had come to an end, and that is why his chain of successors ended with Jesus (as). However, the dispensation of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) will last till the Day of Judgment through the Mujaddidin who will arise in it till the Day of Judgment. As long as the Day of Judgment withholds its destruction, there is no doubt that someone else could come. We most certainly do not deny that good and righteous people will continue to come, and then all of a sudden the Day of Judgment will come.” ( Ruhani Khaza’in, p. 16180 , Malfoozat. volume 4, page 452; (2008 edn.)       

  

Despite the existence and vital presence of this important instruction from the Promised Massih (as) in his writings, endorsed by the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya through its own series of publications, the Ahmadi scholars today challenge common sense. They assault the intellects of Ahmadis and their spiritual expectations. The Ulema and the chiefs declare with their own mouths that no Mujaddid will ever come, even in a new century of Islam. They, thus, foreclose the possibility of any discussion on spiritual blessings possible in this age. The hedonistic elites of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya in Mauritius enforce the policy of intimidation and social stigma on those who wish to know about the new Divine Manifestation.  

I ask these arrogant people who are taking themselves as great scholars in the Jamaat Ahmadiyya : Where have they seen that they must establish boycott? Is there a Quranic verse which stipulates to boycott someone who receives divine revelations and those who have believed in the revelations which he is receiving from Allah, and to expel them from the Jamaat Ahmadiyya and boycott them?

Prove this to me, or even show me a Hadith on this subject. Prove if you can, and prove also if even their family members had to break ties (of kinship) with them and not to greet them Salam and not to invite them. What law have they applied? The Quranic law? The rulings of Hazrat Muhammad ^(saw) and Hazrat Massih Ma’ud ^(as)? The law of the country?

Rule by Family Elites in the Mauritius Jamaat

Or have they invented their own laws to make people fear them, because the Jamaat Ahmadiyya of Mauritius is governed by only a handful of families:  Taujoo, Jowahir, Sookia etc.? As if there exist no other people in this Jamaat who can take care of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya in Mauritius.

Years go by, new years come, the same people are found at the head of the Jamaat! In the several programmes also, they are the ones to come forward to get honour, as if there are no other wise people, even better than them, who can come and address them on the question of religion! This is a Jamaat which is managed only by a handful of families, family feelings!

A ‘Severe Warning’ to Mr. Moussa Taujoo

In his Friday Sermon of October 28, 2011 the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib took note of the nefarious activities of the Ahmadiyya leadership in Mauritius which is hell-bent on deviating common Ahmadi people. With their administrative control over the every day lives of common Ahmadis, the leadership is virtually enslaving common Ahmadis.

They seek to restrict and prevent common Ahmadis from recognizing the Divine Manifestation and worse still, to fill their hearts with hatred against and contempt for, God’s Chosen Messenger of the era. As is perhaps to be expected in times like these, all of these Un-Islamic activities are being done and sought to be legitimized  in the name of protecting the sanctity of ‘Khilafat’ and ‘Ahmadiyyat’! Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) has now specifically warned the leaders among them- including the Ahmadiyya Amir of Mauritius- to desist from their evil ways and deeds or be ready to face their moment of reckoning which shall approach "soon, very soon".

“… Moussa Taujoo and Ganee, along with Amine are taking themselves as great protectors and defenders of Khilafat and Ahmadiyya. They have rejected that which they cannot grip from Allah’s knowledge, despite not receiving its explanation. Likewise, there were people before them who acted arrogantly, and refused to accept the truth and see how Allah Almighty has led them to their destruction.

You, Moussa, you are following only your imagination so as to acquire honour. You forgot the humiliation you got in 1988 when the late Caliph Tahir Sahib came; you listened so much to the talks of Hussein. Where is Hussein now and where are you? You were ousted (from your seat) – bear in mind that your satanic imagination which is making you apply boycott on us and not bidding us salaam cannot become greater (stronger) than the truth in any way. Allah knows what you are doing. Allah Almighty says in the Quran: “Inna sharraddaa-waaabbi indallaahis summul-bukmullaziina laa yaqiiluun.” – In the eyes of Allah, the worst animals are those who make the deaf and dumb, who do not use their reasoning (intellect).

O Moussa, fear that calamity which shall befall you and those around you, who are doing harm, and bear in mind that Allah Almighty is very severe in inflicting punishment. Ponder over the fact that those who reject the signs of Allah, Allah Almighty shall let them go astray and ultimate destruction little by little, in such a way that they do not realise (what is happening to them).

Justice and Fairness under Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya

In an Open Letter addressed to the current head of the Ahmadiyya Community Mirza Masroor Ahmad Sahib in February 2011, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib of Mauritius called the attention of the Khalifa and the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya to the recurring instances of injustice within and the deeper structural malice that underwrites and perpetuates it. “Justice is from the “blood” of Allah. Allah detests unfairness. Therefore He likes that justice pervades His kingdom, be it in the Heavens and Earth, especially so on earth, for the earth is filled with satanic forces which attract men towards doom with their chaotic evil plans”, reminds the Khalifatullah.

“For now more than ten years, the Jamaat Ahmadiyya has lost its credibility in the eyes of people, and I dare say in the eyes of the Ahmadi people themselves. The teachings preached by the Promised Messiah (as) were foremost to enable the Ahmadi Muslims to inculcate the richness of Islamic faith in themselves and to become role models for other people, be them the rest of the Muslim Ummah or humanity at large. Unfortunately all these teachings have been trampled under the feet of Ahmadi people, through the wrong decisions which their Khulafa-tul-Massih have taken.

You have always based yourselves on the report of your Amirs, missionaries-in-charge and especially the Pakistani people working in close collaboration with you. You have always listened to only one side of matters of high importance and based yourselves on the so-called reports which your Amirs or missionaries-in-charge have sent you. I tried to analyse all these situations profoundly to understand the why of all your decisions as Khulafa-tul-Massih. Very often, you take such decisions which are aimed to humiliate people, send curse upon them, expel them from the Nizam-e-Jamaat Ahmadiyya or order that a social boycott be applied upon them, without realising that the sanction and judgement you took were never based on Taqwa (and I am saying this as from the period which Islam Ahmadiyya has taken the route of decline).

Solemn Prayers for the Light of Guidance

Allah, the Most High has always been sending His Messengers. It is entirely under Allah’s discretion where and when to raise a Messenger of His and no creature of the earth can interfere with this Divine Decree. Common Ahmadis would willingly sacrifice their lives to hold onto this belief. Yet today, they are not being allowed by their leaders and scholars to consider that Allah can speak to an Ahmadi Muslim and raise him as a Messenger of His in the new century of Ahmadiyyat, to lead them in the path of Divine Love. Worse still, as is to be expected in the time of an Elect of Allah, the religious leadership had the audacity to boycott the new Messenger of Allah by expelling him from the Nizam-e- Jamaat. Yet, Allah, the Most High did not discard His servant and in fact, raised his spiritual status and elevated him with his own Jamaat. The Holy Qur’an says: “Thy Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you. Surely every hour that follows is better for you than the one that precedes. And your Lord will give you and you will be well pleased” [93:4-6]. 

Even as the Jamaat of the new Massih is progressing by leaps and bounds, the villains who conspired to harm the Massih is biting the dust: The scheming National Amir of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat in Mauritius, Amin Jawahir, who played the lead role in the expulsion episode was disgraced recently by his own Khalifa on charges no less serious than corruption and maladministration!  Would someone who abused his position and privilege to persecute God’s Messenger have a fate other than humiliation and loss of face among his own people?   

In a message to world Ahmadis in 2008, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib invited them to consider his Divine Mission and asserted that anyone who considered his claims with purity of heart and nobility of intentions and sought the light of guidance from Allah will definitely receive signs in favour of the Divine Manifestation and recommended that they follow the advice rendered by the Promised Massih (as) in this regard.

“Today by Allah's Grace, I take Allah as witness to say that I am one of those persons who speak with the Holy Spirit ( rouhil qouddous ). It is indeed a great proof in favour of Hazrat Massih Maoud as that Allah has raised someone in his Jamaat to guide people towards him. In fact the spiritual heritage of Hazrat Massih Maoud (as) has been bequeathed to us. However, as at today the physical heritage is in the hands of others. Now it is up to you to see of which heritage you want to partake. The caliphs are the administrators of the Jamaat after the departure of a prophet until Allah sends someone else. Listen well my brothers and sisters, I swear that there are no lies in what I say and I do not have any ulterior motive.

Amine Jowaheer: Fall of a Pharoah

Amine Jowaheer is Knocked Out!

Mr. Amine Jowaheer, National Amir of the Mauritius Ahmadiyya Association, is thrown out from his position by Khalifatul Massih V with effect from April 21, 2011. In articles published here on April 20-21, 2011 on the corruption inside the Ahmadiyya Jamaat, we have specifically noted that the Mauritius Amir was presiding over a corrupt regime.  Beyond his corrupt ways, the Amir was also guilty of many crimes against Islam- it was because of his machinations that Allah’s Messenger of the Era was outsted/expelled from the Nizam-e- Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya.  

For the seekers of truth, it should be of great interest that Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius had issued multiple warnings and revelations concerning this fellow long before his current humiliation and official dismissal from his Amir responsibilities! The dismissal and humiliation has visited him in spite of the enormous length to which his coterie was willing to stoop to protect him.

Corruption in the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

“Where will the money come from? And how will such a community be born- a community of people willing to perform heroic feats for their faith? These are not the questions that worry me. I am more concerned that people coming after me may stumble when entrusted with such large amounts of wealth and that they may take to the love of this world”.

No one would have been happier than the Promised Massih (as) to see that his fears were misplaced and that his Community will always tread in the path of righteousness and moral probity. Yet, the fact that he warned the Community on this ground shows that he knew that in the ebb and flow of time, the ruling elite in the Community will be guilty of financial impropriety and pecuniary misconduct. Some the visions of the Promised Massih (as), recorded in the Thadhkirah, also point to a time of decline of real spiritual fervour in the Community even as material riches and power ambitions engulf the leadership.  In short, the Promised Massih (as) knew that Imaan will desert the hearts of Ahmadis and go back to Pleiades necessitating the coming of other Elects of Allah in the Jamaat.

Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius has recently warned the leadership of the Ahmadiyya Community against the tendency to protect and preserve individuals and leaders who abuse their position to play with the hard earned money of common Ahmadis and those who are guilty of pecuniary misconduct and moral irresponsibility. He especially mentioned the case of the so called National Amir of Mauritius who is presiding over a corrupt establishment for many years and is being protected by the coterie around the Khalifatul Massih V.
