Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (as) was
the second successor of the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). He
was a distinguished Khalifa because his birth was foretold by a number of
previous prophets and saints. Moreover, the Promised Messiah (as) received a
Divine Sign for the truth of Islam as a result of his forty day's prayers at
Hoshiarpur (India). God Almighty told him that a pure son would be born to him
within the period of nine years. He had already published this prophecy
regarding his Muslih Ma'ud (Promised Reformer) on 20 February 1886. In
accordance with this divine prophecy and within the specified period, the
Promised Son, was born to the Promised Messiah (as) on 12 January 1889 at
Qadian. He was named Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad. Monday, February 20, 2017

Reclaiming Islam's Pristine Essence
There are numerous people who have accepted the
message of Allah but they are not convinced. Some have accepted the message of
Allah with good hearts and want to do good deeds, but they don’t know what to
do exactly and how to do them.Monday, November 16, 2015

A 'Khalifatullah' among Ahmadis

Qur'anic Concept of 'Khilafat'
The
following excerpt from the Quran, known as the “The
Istikhlaf verse”, forms the basis of the
Quranic concept of Islamic Khilafat, and includes the caliphate of Allah
(Khalifatullah). A Khalifatullah govern between the people by that which
Allah the Almighty has revealed to him, and follow not their vain desires. The
Khalifatullah must beware in case the opponent seduce him from just some part
of that which Allah the Almighty has revealed to him.
Let
me say a Hadith and this Hadith from Musnad Ahmad bin Hanbal prophesies two
eras of caliphate (both on the lines/precepts of
prophethood). Hazrat Huzaifa (May Allah be pleased with him) narrated that
the Messenger of Allah said: “Prophethood will remain among you as long as
Allah wills. Then caliphate (Khilafat) on the lines of Prophethood shall
commence, and remain as long as Allah wills. Then corrupt/erosive monarchy
would take place, and it will remain as long as Allah wills. After that,
despotic kingship would emerge, and it will remain as long as Allah wills.
Then, the caliphate (Khilafat) shall come once again, based on the precept of
prophethood.”

A 'Mujaddid' after the Promised Massih
In
light of these two verses that I read to you, we see that it (appearance of an Elect of Allah) is a blessing from
Allah, not men.The Caliph of Allah (Khalifatullah) as Allah Himself has made clear “Innii jaa ilun fil-Arzi Khalifah”, i.e., Allah Himself, the Most High will place His Khalifah on Earth, and it is not by the vote of men that this Khalifah will be elected. This is by no means the same as the election of a minister or an MP. A Khalifatullah is unique. Why? Because he is not elected by the hand of men, but rather, he is established by God and chosen by Him, Himself. This means that the Khalifatullah is not only intellectually and spiritually speaking, the Chosen One of Allah, but he also commands by his status the highest moral quality. It is for these reasons that a Khalifatullah becomes for the Ummah of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) a wealth of blessings.
This divine manifestation has been amply demonstrated by God, with the arrival of a Khalifatullah where there is a spiritual revolution, especially when Islam (the universal religion) is now in a painful and difficult situation. Problems did not wait to come to the surface. When we see many so-called Muslims, and great defenders of Islam trampling the teachings of Islam, we realize that they are Muslims in name only.
Now
let us see what the Promised Messiah, the founder of Jamaat Ahmadiyya (on him
be peace) has said. In his book Shahadat’ul Quran (on pg. 48 - 60), the
Promised Messiah (on him be peace) said:Saturday, April 19, 2014

TEN YEARS of the Divine Manifestation
It
is instructive for Ahmadis to understand that the emergence of the Divine
Manifestation in Mauritius coincided with the decline in physical health,
spiritual faculties and eventual death of the Fourth Khalifa of the Jamaat-e- Ahmadiyya, Hadhrat Mirza
Tahir Ahmad Sahib. In his last years, the ageing Khalifa was already in a zone
of his own, where he was in constant need of sound advice for prudent
governance of Jamaat affairs. Yet, as it happened, he was badly advised regarding
the nature and character of the Divine Manifestation then emerging in the
horizon of Mauritius. Unscrupulous and scheming people, who worked behind the
corridors of influence, suggested vanity of office and pride of legacy. Instead
of showing humility and open heart to understand the lofty claims and spiritual
verities on offer, the Khalifa chose the other road. May Allah forgive him for
his blurred vision in his last days, Ameen.

The Elixir of Truth in Divine Prophecies
Today 23 March 2013 establishes 124 years since an event took place in the once unknown small village – Qadian – situated in the province of Punjab in India. It was an event destined to change the course of history. In Islamic literature, the Quran predicts a thousand years during which Islam will suffer an extraordinary decline.
“He regulates His command from the heaven to the earth; then shall it ascend to Him in a day the measure of which is a thousand years of what you count.” (As-Sajdah 32: 6).
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) has predicted that this decline will not begin until three hundred years after his advent: “The best century is the one in which I live, then the second and the third will be good, afterwards lies will spread, truth shall disappear; cruelty, excesses, differences and divergences shall appear”. (Miskat, Bukhari & Tirmidhi).
