'Worship' of the Khalifa among the Ahmadis

Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius, the new Mujaddid and Khalifatullah (a Khalifa raised by Allah, not men) has come to renew the days of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa), just as Allah had raised the Divine Reformers in every age of Islam, in many parts of the Muslim world. After all, Allah (swa) does not need the permission of any mundane leaders and mullahs in the raising of His Elects and the questions of Divine Will and decisions regarding the appointment of  His Elect cannot be voted in the assembly and opinion of men! For the devout Ahmadi Muslims, the new Khalifatullah (atba) fulfills the prophecies contained in the writings of the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) regrading the appearance of other spiritually guided souls in His Jamaat in future. The new Mujaddid has also confirmed the veracity of the spiritual expectations and the statements of the Musleh Maoud Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad (ra) regarding his 'second coming' among the people. And he has as well confirmed that he is indeed raised in their spiritual shadows.

Despite all that is with them in the form of the sacred teachings and inherited beliefs, when Ahmadis are informed about the sheer bounty of Allah (swa) in our times, they are stunned to hear the news. That Allah (swa) has raised His Elect in this era and sent the new Mujaddid in the mantle of a Messenger of Allah among themselves, appears to them to be an impossible situation from the confines of their bondage in the nizami syatem . They look here and there to ask whether the chiefs and leaders within had endorsed the Divine prerogative and showed the humility to recognize and accept the Divine decision to send a Messenger among the Ahmadis in this era. Hence, the 'blinds' and 'slaves' are largely indifferent to the coming of a Divinely-raised Mujaddid in this age.

Indeed, this is the typical behaviour of people in the time of an Elect of Allah. After all, the judgement of the Holy Qur’an, cannot be wrong in any age: And now when there has come to them a Messenger from Allah, fulfilling that which is with them, a party of the people to whom the Book was given have thrown the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if they knew it not”.   (2:102).

Ahmadis: Love for All, Hatred for None

In a recent e-mail to the Amir Sahib of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala, the Ahmadiyya Youth Movement of South Kerala wrote:

We, at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, firmly believe that its time for we all to think about what we have been doing. For the past 122 years we have been working on this goal of restoring love, peace and brotherhood across the globe. Our mission is to instill our motto inside every human being on earth which is "Love for All, Hatred For None" which as you can perhaps understand, is today, the need of the hour".

People should be forgiven if they thought the Ahmadiyya Community means what it says. For, they swear by peace, love and empathy for all mankind. And yet, ironically, the same people cut off blood relations even as they speak of fostering universal brotherhood.

Amine Jowaheer: Fall of a Pharoah

The truth has come and the falsehood has vanished; surely, falsehood vanishes quickly”.
                                                                                                            -(HQ, 17:82)
Amine Jowaheer is Knocked Out!

Mr. Amine Jowaheer, National Amir of the Mauritius Ahmadiyya Association, is thrown out from his position by Khalifatul Massih V with effect from April 21, 2011. In articles published here on April 20-21, 2011 on the corruption inside the Ahmadiyya Jamaat, we have specifically noted that the Mauritius Amir was presiding over a corrupt regime.  Beyond his corrupt ways, the Amir was also guilty of many crimes against Islam- it was because of his machinations that Allah’s Messenger of the Era was outsted/expelled from the Nizam-e- Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya.

For the seekers of truth, it should be of great interest that Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius had issued multiple warnings and revelations concerning this fellow long before his current humiliation and official dismissal from his Amir responsibilities! The dismissal and humiliation has visited him in spite of the enormous length to which his coterie was willing to stoop to protect him.

Khalifa Sani on Mujaddidin in Future

In the previous article on the issue, published on April 16, 2011, we have presented the interpretation of several verses of the Holy Qur’an, offered by Hadhrat  Mirza Basheeruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra) in which he reflected on the status of Mujaddidin or Divinely inspired Teachers and Reformers. We are providing below some more points explained by Khalifa Sani (ra) in the course of interpretation of other Chapters and verses in the Holy Qur’an.

The explanation contains impressive insights on a range of complex issues: the object and purpose of Mujaddidiyyat, the time and consequence of appearance of a Mujaddid, how to test the veracity of a claimant and what benefit believers will gain by joining him etc. These issues are addressed in addition to the question about their appearance in the coming centuries as well. At a time when the mainstream Ahmadiyya Community is preaching that no Mujaddid will ever appear in future, the considered opinion of Hadhrat Musleh Maoud (ra) on the future of Mujaddidin speaks for itself.

1. MUJADDIDIN WILL APPEAR IN FUTURE:

Holy Qur’an states in verse 10, Surah Al Hijr:

“Verily, We Ourselves have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian”

In explanation of the verse, Hadhrat Khalifa Sani (ra) described the Divine scheme of sending Mujaddidin in every age to secure and preserve the Holy Qur’an. He discusses the establishment of the Ahmadiyya Community by the Mujaddid of the 14th Century Hadhrat Ahmad (as) and finally writes about the situation in future:

“As regards the future, our belief based upon promises made in the Qur’an is that whenever Muslim forget, or fall away from, the teachings of the Qur’an, God will, by raising heavenly Reformers, restore to them their faith in pristine purity. The teachings of the Qur’an will thus remain effective for all time and will ever continue to enjoy divine help and protection”. The advent of Reformers in Islam

At the time of his proclamation as the Khalifatullah of this Era in 2008, Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib reflected on the Islamic belief about the coming of Divine reformers in every century and the extraordinary opportunity it represents for the common believers.  Here are the extracts:

“Belief in the coming of the advent of a Reformer has been held from before the time of Islam. It existed centuries before the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa), as part of the Mosaic tradition. But in Islam the coming of a Reformer has been taught so systematically and determinately that we are obliged to regard it as one of the important beliefs of Islam.

Factors, which have strengthened and systematized the Islamic belief, are the following:

(1) The advent of a Reformer is described in Muslim traditions as the advent of a new era in the advancement of Islam. The conquest of other faiths by Islam was to wait on the coming of a Reformer. It was to be initiated by the Reformer.

(2) The coming of a Reformer has seemed like the coming of the Holy Prophet himself, the first believers of the Reformer like the first believers of the Holy Prophet (sa).

Corruption in the Nizam-e-Jamaat

In the Friday sermon of February 11, 2011, Hadhrat Khalifatullah exposed the nature of financial bungling and the parties involved in the corruption episode, inside the Mauritius Ahmadiyya Jamaat :

"There have been embezzlements in respect of the Nusrat Mosque in Quatre-Bornes (a fact which I mentioned in my Open Letter to Mr. Amine Jowahir on 27 January 2006), money-inflate of funds requested for the setting up of two gates at the Jalsa Gah. The initial amount requested was Rs.70000, whereas the values of the gates were less than Rs.40000.

Moreover, much lies is present about Jamaat Funds even in Amila proceedings. In a meeting on 04 September 1999, the Amila congregation was informed in Item 4.20 of the Minutes of meeting that:

“We have sent Rs.400000 to Madagascar for the construction of our school, as too much money is spent on the rent of a building for the running of our school there”.

An interesting remark is that firstly, the Majlis-e-Shurah never took such a decision and secondly, in a fax sent by Mawlana Siddique (from Madagascar) to Mauritius on 01 December 1999 (3 months after the meeting), the Mawlana has said:

“You will be pleased to learn that after so many efforts and patience, we have today obtained the property papers of our land at Andavamamba, Tananarive. Alhamdulillah. We most humbly request you to transfer the amount Rs Four hundred thousands (Rs 400,000) to our account in Madagascar.”

Now, why say “We have sent Rs.400,000 when afterwards, three months later Mawlana Siddique requested them to send over the money? Why this blatant lie? Moreover, there are instances when Jamaat money has entered the pockets of the financial in-charges instead of the Jamaat account.

Corruption in the Ahmadiyya Jamaat

“Where will the money come from? And how will such a community be born- a community of people willing to perform heroic feats for their faith? These are not the questions that worry me. I am more concerned that people coming after me may stumble when entrusted with such large amounts of wealth and that they may take to the love of this world”.

   - Hadhrat Ahmad (as)  [ Al Wassiyat,  p.28, Qadian: Nazarat Nashro Ishaat, (2003) ]

No one would have been happier than the Promised Massih (as) to see that his fears were misplaced and that his Community will always tread in the path of righteousness and moral probity. Yet, the fact that he warned the Community on this ground shows that he knew that in the ebb and flow of time, the ruling elite in the Community will be guilty of financial impropriety and pecuniary misconduct. Some the visions of the Promised Massih (as), recorded in the Thadhkirah, also point to a time of decline of real spiritual fervour in the Community even as material riches and power ambitions engulf the leadership.  In short, the Promised Massih (as) knew that Imaan will desert the hearts of Ahmadis and go back to Pleiades necessitating the coming of other Elects of Allah in the Jamaat.

Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius has recently warned the leadership of the Ahmadiyya Community against the tendency to protect and preserve individuals and leaders who abuse their position to play with the hard earned money of common Ahmadis and those who are guilty of pecuniary misconduct and moral irresponsibility. He especially mentioned the case of the so called National Amir of Mauritius who is presiding over a corrupt establishment for many years and is being protected by the coterie around the Khalifatul Massih V.
