Noor'ul Islam Masjid- Mathra, Kerala

Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala announced the historic inauguration of the Noor’ul Islam Mosque at Mathra in the south-Indian state of Kerala on Friday, July 22, 2011. The inauguration of the Mosque represents a giant step forward for the nascent Sahih Al Islam Community in Kerala, which came into existence only after October 2010. The Mosque is a 400 sq. feet building, situated on a modest 20 cents of land (1/5 of an acre of land in Kerala) gifted to the Kerala Jamaat by the Amir Jamaluddin Sahib and his respected wife Shareefa Beevi Sahiba.

Interestingly, the Mosque building itself has a rich history that is inextricably intertwined with all that is good and bad in the Ahmadiyya Jamaat. If we observe, all the present members of the Kerala Jamaat originally belonged to the Ahmadiyya Jamaat before recognizing and accepting the Divine Manifestation in the person of Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius. Likewise, the present Mosque at Mathra was originally constructed by the Ahmadis of Kerala in 1990 and it used to be the local Ahmadiyya Centre for years.

'The Khalifa is Wrong on Mujaddidiyat'

Dr. E. Thahir Sahib, secretary of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala issued a response to a recent Friday Sermon delivered by Mirza Masroor Ahmad Sahib, the Fifth Khalifa of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community wherein he spoke on the question of Mujaddidiyat. Reproduced below is an English translation of the first part of the Public Notice originally published in the Malayalam language of Kerala (India):

The head of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Sahib on June 10, 2011 delivered a Friday sermon on the subject of Khilafat and Mujaddidiyat. This notice is in response to certain observations which form the core part of that address. The Khutba itself was occasioned by, and in response to, a question raised by a child in a study session: “Can a Mujaddid come now”?  He describes:this kind of question arises when it is discussed in families because a child could not come up with a question like this or some, who wish to create uneasiness among children and the youth pose such questions”.

Whether asked by a child or the child was set up by elders to raise it, can the question of Mujaddid create uneasiness? Why the Ahmadiyya Khalifa is so anxious about a question based on the glad tiding of the coming of Mujaddidin in every century given by the Holy Prophet of Islam (sa) and is endorsed by the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as)?

The Khalifa characterizes everyone who asks about it as hypocrites. He states:  “Questions relating to this have arisen in the Jama’at at different times, not by sincere members but by those who wish to create discord”. About 1400 years ago, a promise was given by the Holy Prophet of Islam (sa) to the Muslims of every age. When the issue is being raised, the Khalifa feels it creates discord in the Ahmadiyya Jamaat. Why is it so? Does it not indicate that inside the Ahmadiyya Khilafat elected by the assembly of the faithful, the prophecy touches a raw nerve? He states further: “In the era of Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih III (may Allah have mercy on him) this issue was raised quite forcefully.” If the issue is alive from the time of the Third Caliph, is it not natural to suspect that there is something rotten inside?  If someone asks about the Mujaddidin who are divinely raised reformers, every attempt is made to keep their mouths shut and they are being condemned as hypocrites. Does it not indicate a tendency for despotic thought control and intolerance?

Divine Signs for the New Massih

In the time of a Messenger of Allah, innumerable signs appear in favour of the Divine Manifestation. Even people who are not prophets might be blessed with divine revelations in favour of the truthfulness of the Messenger. The Holy Qur’an provides an instance: And remember My favour when I inspired the disciples saying, ‘Believe in Me and My Messenger’, they said, ‘We believe and bear Thou witness that we have submitted’(5:112). Likewise, the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) was vouchsafed the following revelation: People, whom We shall direct through revelation, will assist you (Brahin-e-Ahmadiyya).

In a speech on June 22, 2011, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius shared with the world the revelations received by one of his disciples. Read the extracts from the Speech:

The revelation is for the Prophet of Allah and Allah has instructed the person to tell this message to the Prophet of Allah. When receiving this message, the disciple of the Khalifatullah felt her chest squeezed (and heart beating fast) and she felt anguish physically restricting her from speech. The feeling persist till after Witr prayers, and it was after that her tears were shed silently that she was able to speak. The revelation (originally in Creole) is as thus:

Translation: “O Prophet of Allah (x3)! When you need information, search it with people possessing Taqwa, who have the fear of Allah in their heart, who are pious, who tread on the right path. Be careful!”

Thereafter, Allah makes her understand that there is a verse in Surah Al-Hujarat which therein is the same message. “Be careful! Be very careful! Do not take information here and there. Search it with people possessing Taqwa, who have the fear of Allah in their heart, who are righteous. Look for your information, O Prophet of Allah (x3)…”

Whither Kerala Ahmadis?

The news is spreading like wildfire in Kerala. That Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius is a recipient of divine revelations and that his teachings and instructions are well within the guidance of the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as). In spite of the Jamaat establishment doing all that it could to nip this message in the bud, Allah has elevated him as a Messenger of His in this age and his mission is thriving and progressing by leaps and bounds. The institutionalization of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in Kerala has sent shockwaves down the spine of the Kerala Ahmadiyya establishment. For the Ahmadiyya establishment is wary of  and worried about the powerful sway of truth and its ability to swing the general Ahmadi opinion on the matter.

To tackle the new ‘threat’, the establishment is adopting a comprehensive strategy: misguide people through all methods possible! Thus, the Maulanas are continuously writing in their official magazines that Allah shall never send an Elect of His in future and that the Ahmadiyya Khilafat is the permanent divine institution for all time to come.

Secondly, the Maulanas are spreading false information about the new Massih and his disciples in Kerala. In spite of claiming to belong to the Jamaat of the Promised Massih (as), they have no qualms about indulging in such cheap tactics. After the Kerala disciples of Hadhrat Sahib organized their first public meeting recently to explain their mission, and the programme became a huge success with all sorts of groups showing interest on the message, the Ahmadi Maulvis went to town telling common Ahmadis that the disciples of the new  Massih were working in collaboration with the worst enemies of the Jamaat!

Water versus Tayyamum

“When we have water, why look for Tayyamum?”

An Ahmadi Maulvi raised this question when a member of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala recently met him with the message of Allah in this age. He was obviously alluding to the current Ahmadiyya Khilafat as “water” and the coming of the Elect of Allah as “Tayyamum”. The larger question is this, what kind of “water” are you using now?

In a recent speech, Hadhrat Khalifatullah explicitly observed:

Do you realize that the “water” you are taking to do your “Wuzu” has become as filthy as the water from the toilets? Will you then prefer to do Tayyamum, which is made with pure soil or sand and which has been commanded by Allah (and mentioned in the Holy Quran), or would you prefer to do “Wuzu” with water which has become filthy, or sewage water or even water (though clear) but which is found in toilet pits?

Today, the Khalifa is ready to expel good people while all fraudulent and dirty people are found in the Jamaat. The Khalifa has become just like the Christian priest who assures the adepts of his church that after confessing to their sins, then he also will throw a little “blessed water” on them and Lo! their sins would be forgiven! The Ahmadis have become blind to all the corruptions and frauds which have entered into the Ahmadiyya Jamaat. That is why some still think that “When they have water, why is there the need for Tayyamum?”

JUSAI: Public Meeting in Kerala-II

At a special Programme organized to mark the successful, historic, first public meeting of the Sahih Al Islam Community in Kerala, Hadhrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib offered some insightful comments throwing light on the fortunes of believers in the time of a Divine Manifestation.

Read the Extracts from the Speech:

And that those who have been given the knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, so they may believe in it and their hearts may be lowly before it; and most surely Allah is the Guide of those who believe into a right path. (22:55)

Who are those who believe in it (and submit to this divine commandment)? They are those who recognise the advent of a Messenger of Allah. By the grace of Allah, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam members, those who have not seen the Khalifatullah of this age have believed in this humble self, and despite not seeing me in flesh and blood, yet they believed in the veracity of Allah and His Messenger and they are foremost to do exceptional works for the progress of Deen-i-Islam. They have recognized the instructions (the knowledge) bestowed upon them by Allah, to be the truth and they have believed in it, and their hearts also are convinced on this truth.

JUSAI: a Public Meeting in Kerala

To explain the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius in the person of Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) and to disseminate the message of the Mujaddid of the era, the  Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala organized its historic, first public meeting on June 11, 2011 at Kodiyathoor

Venue:

Kodiyathoor is a village-town in North Kerala, with a 90 percent Muslim population. Muslims of various sects- Sunnis, Mujahid, Jamaat-e- Islami, Anjuman Ishaat-e-Islam and the Ahmadis have their presence in the place and they have a rich history of harmonious coexistence and spiritual dialogue and even intellectual confrontation. In 1988, when the late Fourth Khalifa issued the Mubahala Challenge, there actually was a Mubahala between the Ahmadis and the Anjuman Ishaat-e-Islam in Kodiyathoor.

The Programme:

The Meeting started with Tilawatul Qur’an by K. Saleem Sahib of Alappuzha. Abdul Hakkim Sahib, Secretary- Tabligh, welcomed the gathering and explained the context of the Meeting. Jamaluddin Sahib, Amir Jamaat of Kerala was chairing the session.

Appreciation for the Kerala Jamaat

In his Friday Sermon of June 03, 2011 Hadhrat  Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib of Mauritius underscored the significance of Tabligh and made a special mention about the activities being undertaken by the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in Kerala.

Read the Extracts from the sermon:

In this century, we are the ones who need to spread the message of Allah, of Islam everywhere. Thus, take the firm determination (to accomplish this work) and free yourselves from all your past negligence and start your duty (to give the message of Allah to your surroundings, and other people). There are many people who may have religious knowledge, but religious knowledge alone is not sufficient. There must also be experience in the field of Tabligh and one must put it into practice. Tabligh must be done with good reasoning, with solid arguments, and not, by force.

I wish to congratulate the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam of Kerala where the Amir Sahib, Dr. Thahir Sahib, Fazil Jamal Sahib, Hariz Sahib and the others are doing excellent works in their own local language (Malayalam) along with the Siraj Makin (the ladies of the Jamaat) of Kerala. They even opened a blog which is linked to our official website. May Allah make them Mubarak in this noble work.

Press Report in Kerala on the Divine Manifestation

Leading Malayalam Daily, Madhyamam, published an article on the Divine Manifestion in Mauritus and the Kerala disciples of the new Prophet of Allah on May 15, 2011.

A NEW PROPHET IN MAURITIUS

   Kodiyathoor:

In the Qadiani sect of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat, the appearance of a new claimant to Prophethood has become a controversy.  Munir Ahmad Azim of Mauritius is the one who claims that he is a Messenger of Allah and the Reformer of the Fifteenth Century. Through his website, he has proclaimed that he is a recipient of divine revelations in English, French, German, Arabic and other languages and that the revelations contain mainly warnings  against the guilty ones of the age.

Many Indian and Pakistani Ahmadis have joined the fold of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam founded by Azim. In Kerala also, its local branches have been established. Amir Jamaluddin Raother (of Kollam) informs that more than 20 Ahmadis from Karunagappally, Alappuzha, Kannur and Mathra have become members in the new movement. Qadiani writer E. Tahir (of Kannur) and his family are among them.

The current Divine Manifestation in Mauritius recognizes the Qadiani Prophet and claims that he is sent for this Century.

As a response to the claim of a Qadiani missionary that the death of the young son of the Kerala Amir is due to accepting the new Prophet, a Mubahala challenge has been issued against the missionary, according to the information available at the website.

The New Mujaddid and the Kerala Jamaat-III

[This is the third and final part of the series of articles answering the questions raised by Mr. Shoukath Ali, coordinator (Asia-Pacific) of the Ahmadiyya Movement (Lahori Sect), Fiji Islands about the Mujaddid claims of Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib and the Kerala Ahmadis who recognized and accepted the Imam of the Age. This part reflects on the question why Ahmadis in Kerala accepted the new Massih. The first and second parts of the series were published here on April 29-30, 2011].

7. Did they (Kerala Ahmadis) accept him because they have seen and believe in some special phenomena or is it only because they have been expelled similar to the "Mujaddid" and his followers in ?

At the moment, only 2 of the members belong to the expelled section. The rest belong to the category of common Ahmadis who are convinced that they have found the Sign of a living Islam through the appearance of a Mujaddid in the new Century.

The Holy Qur’an states:

The chief men of his people who were arrogant said to those who were reckoned weak-those among them who believed- Do you know for certain that Salih is one sent by his Lord?’ They answered, ‘Surely, we believe in that with which he has been sent’ (7:76).

All Praise belongs to Allah Who has guided us to this. And we could not have found guidance, if Allah had not guided us. The Messengers of our Lord did indeed bring the truth.  (7:44)

And when they hear what has been revealed to this Messenger, you see their eyes overflow with tears, because of the truth which they have recognized. They say, “Our Lord, we believe, so write us down among the witnesses; And why should we not believe in Allah and in the truth which has come to us, while we earnestly wish that our Lord should include us among the righteous people?” (5:84-85).

Questions about the Mujaddid in Mauritius-I

[Mr. Shoukath Ali, coordinator (Asia-Pacific) of the Ahmadiyya Movement (Lahori Sect), Fiji Islands came to know, through an Ahmadi friend of his in Kerala, about the Mujaddid claims of Khalifathullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib and the Kerala Ahmadis who recognized and accepted the Imam of the Age . In a communication to this Ahmadi friend, Mr. Ali raised certain questions and the friend forwarded the correspondence to Dr. Thahir Sahib, General Secretary of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala in January 2011.

The questions and allegations, though raised in a private correspondence, give us an opportunity to throw light on the factual and spiritual reality of the current Divine Manifestation. Because of their public importance, we are presenting them below along with brief answers prepared by Fazil Jamal of the Kerala Jamaat, after modifying the original text for the convenience of readers. This is the first part].

1. What is so important for Islam in Mauritius that Allah should appoint a Mujaddid there for the uplifting of the Muslim community worldwide?
