Tarbiyyat Lessons- 21
Islamic
teachings empower individuals in their everyday lives. Divine commands in the
Holy Qur’an guide our souls and minds to distinguish between what is right and
wrong so as to truly prosper through a God-centric life of pure devotion, clean
habits, justice-orientation, and spirit of kinship and service to all humanity.
If we hold true Faith and sincere allegiance to the Way of Life practiced by
the Holy Prophet of Islam (sa), it will enable us to form personal habits and
preferences that will reflect the true wisdom of the same values he preached.
When we embrace Islam in our inner temperament and behaviour, we will be
intuitively guided to good deeds and productive habits; we will also move away
from frivolity and wastage and bad habits, and truly prioritize that which will
benefit the individual person, her family and friends and the society at large,
both in this world and in the world to come, Insha Allah.

‘The servants of the Lord of Mercy are those who walk
humbly on the earth, and who, when the foolish address them, reply, ‘Peace’; those
who spend the night bowed down or standing, worshipping their Lord, who plead, ‘Our
Lord, turn away from us the suffering of Hell, for it is a dreadful torment to suffer! It is an evil
home, a foul resting place!’
They are those who are neither wasteful nor niggardly when they spend, but keep to a just balance; those who never invoke any other deity beside God, nor take a life, which God has made sacred, except in the pursuit of justice, nor commit adultery.
(Whoever does these things will face
the penalties: their torment will be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and
they will remain in torment, disgraced, except those who repent, believe and do good deeds: God will change the evil deeds of such people into
good ones. He is most forgiving, most merciful. People who repent and do good
deeds truly return to God.)
[The servants of the Lord of Mercy are] those who do
not give false testimony, and who, when they see some frivolity, pass by with dignity;
who, when reminded of their Lord’s signs, do not turn a deaf ear and a blind
eye to them; those who pray, ‘Our Lord, give us joy in our spouses and offspring. Make us good
examples to those who are aware of You’. These servants will be rewarded with
the highest place in Paradise for their steadfastness. There they will be met
with greetings and peace. There they will stay– a happy home and resting place!' [25: 64- 77]

Istaghfar:
Miracles of Life
‘Istaghfar’ works for anything in life you desire!
‘You know, what's the best part of posting Islamic content and
share stories and experiences?
It reaches people who really wanted a Duah, a Zikr for their problem. It may be for getting married to your loved
one, having a child, or clearing debts.
One of my followers messaged me saying she saw my post about ‘Istaghfar’ and started doing to have a
child and today Allah blessed her. She did ‘Istaghfar’
everyday without fail.’

Duahs & Sincerity
Not-Getting Your Duahs
Answered?
Consider and reflect on this: If you really wanted
it to happen [- to have your Duahs accepted, then] you would have started praying on time; you would
have started doing Istighfar; you would have stopped frivolity [all the time listening to music,
dancing, merry-making]; you would have wore proper Hijab; you would have started praying Tahajjud; you would done all the Zikr, secluded yourself in worship and remembrance of God Almighty; you
would have proved yourself that you deserve it- you would have made Allah
listen to your Duahs. Tell me,
how much are you sincere with doing it?

‘Say to them: what would my Lord care for you, were
you not to worship Him and were you not to abide by His Commandments?’ [25: 78]
