It is instructive to note that the Divine Manifestation of our times is contributing to the essential validation, revival and renewal of known and unknown Duahs in the world of Islam through Divine revelations and spiritual visions being vouchsafed to the chosen Messenger of our times. One of the spiritual visions experienced by Hazrat Ummul Mu’mineen is on the Divine Attribute of “Burhanis-Sultaane”. Like in the case of some mystical experiences reported by the pious disciples of the Divine Elect in this era- Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah (aba), the real meaning and true perspective on this spiritual vision became clear- especially when Allah (swt) revealed to His chosen messenger the “Duah-e-Ganjul Arsh”.
Although no one seem to reliably
know when and where it originated, and even when one ignores all fictitious stories
that circulate around it, the “Duah-e-Ganjul Arsh” has long been invoked by devout Muslims in South
Asia- the sub continental region comprising India, Pakistan, Bangladesh- and in
Diaspora communities elsewhere as well.
For the benefit of all spiritual seekers, we reproduce below an extract from a Jamaat communication from 22 September 2011, wherein one can read the spiritual vision of Hazrat Saheba concerning “Burhanis- Sultaane”, and also learn about the revelation of the “Duah-e-Ganjul Arsh” on Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din (aba) in the early days of the Divine Manifestation in 2003.
The spiritual
vision
“In the beginning of the divine manifestation - Once after praying my Tahajjud, when it was still dark outside, I saw a bright light coming in my living room where I was praying, just like the awakening of the morning light, and I heard a voice saying: "It is Me. I am Burhanis-Sultaane" –
[At that time, I did not know who was "Burhanis-Sultaane" but then when Hazrat Muhyi'ud-Din received the "Ganjul-Arsh" as revelation from Allah (in year 2003), while reciting the attributes of Allah therein, I encountered the attributes of Allah, "Ya Burhanis-Sultaane", and I was reassured that it was indeed my Allah who showed me that He was with me. ]—
Therefore when I heard the voice telling me that He was Burhanis-Sultaane, and when I saw the light outside, I was confused, thinking that the time of Fajr had already gone by and the sun has already woken up, but then after that, the light fade out, and it was again black outside. By this I understood that this light was the light of Allah; a manifestation of Allah.”
Duah-e-Ganjul Arsh
According to certain accounts, the Duah was originally revealed to the Holy Prophet (sa) through Hazrat Jibreel (as). Among the many blessings and benefits attributed to the regular recitation and fervent invocation of these prayers by the devoted souls, the following are included, that is, whoever will recite this Duah, Allah (swt) will bestow upon the person, inter alia, with the following benefits:
(1) Sustenance
(rozi) will increase; gain provisions
from unexpected/ unknown sources
(2) Success in the struggle against opponents over
lawful claims in all spheres of life.
(3) By the
power of this Duah, the person will
be protected from sorcery and evils of Satan.
