The Fiery End of Lars Vilks

'Say, 'Think: if the punishment of God should come to you, suddenly or foreseeably, would anyone but the evildoers be destroyed?'---Qur'an, 6: 48.

Mr. Lars Endel Roger Vilks, the Swedish man who created great international controversy over the last decade with his incendiary caricatures of Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) with the body of a dog, met with a fiery end on Sunday, 03 October 2021. A fatal car crash on a motorway literally burned him to death, and reduced the body into ashes within a short time. It appeared as though no amount of physical security arranged by the Swedish government, or other emergency services  could save him from being consumed by an explosive fire destined for him on that day of misfortune. Global media prominently reported on this traffic accident: “Lars Vilks was charred to death when his car caught fire after an accident with a truck. The incident took place near the southern town of Markaryd. He was travelling in a police car that collided with a truck. Two police officers were also killed”.

Vilks was a deliberate offender; as he ‘knew’ what he was doing. Calling someone, anyone, a dog is deeply offensive- an insult of the highest order- least of all the spiritual father of a global Faith community, and he sought to justify his despicable crime on the so-called high moral high ground of ‘unfettered artistic freedom’ to offend and shock people’s sensibilities. No wonder, the deeply-insulting caricatures depicting their spiritual father, the Holy messenger of Allah (swt) Hazrat Muhammad (sa), caused profound anguish and much anger among the world’s Muslims.

Poems of Divine Love

The Presence of God

The warmth of Love is lost to him

Who takes to Sin and Vice

The Face of God is hidden from view

It’s this the Evil's price.

You see that He is far away

And cannot or doesn't see

You think of doing whatever you like

You feel that you are free.

The fact is this and you must know

Wherever you go and hide

Whatever you think, Whatever you do

He is always by your side.

If you can see the presence of God

The sin and vice will go.

For sure, He knows and sees us all

It’s this that you must know.

 ******************************

My Freedom

With head on ground

I pray to God

And there I feel so free,

I talk to Him whatever I like.

No frown from Him I see

I talk of this,

I talk of that too

I talk of everything.

My heart and soul are full of joy

As if they dance and sing

‘Tarbiyat’ Meetings in Jamaat

'O my dear son, associate with the Learned and sit respectfully in their presence. For, Allah gives life to hearts by the light of His wisdom, as He revives the dead-earth by life-giving rain from the heavens'---Luqman, the Wise.

With the Holy and august presence and continuous guidance of Khalifatul Muslemeen Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius,  the Jamaat ul Sahih Al Islam International today seeks to revive and renew amongst its members the great Islamic tradition of learning and seeking wisdom in the company of the Righteous. In this context, Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam- India organized a number of Tai’lim/ Tarbiyat/ Study-Circle meetings in recent weeks for the benefit of its members in Tamil Nadu, and also in Kerala, including by women’s wing of the Jamaat, Siraj Makin Djawaharatul Kamal. In view of the continuing (Covid- 19 related) restrictions on physical meetings in several places, the Jamaat members have used both Online and Offline methods of collective learning, Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.

In Tamil Nadu, Tarbiyat meetings were organized in Kottar and Melappalayam in the last week of September 2021. Brothers such as Khalil Rahman Saheb, Suleiman Samil Saheb, Sheikh Malukar Saheb, and Muhammad Nabil Saheb led the discussions at the meetings- exchanging views on important spiritual themes such as dietary practices of the Holy Prophet (sa); the Promised Messiah (as)’ views on ‘Ilm-ul-Yaqeen’; Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba)’s perspectives on Ghibbat -the sins of thinking and speaking ill of others, backbiting, etc.

Likewise, on 26 September 2021, a Tarbiyyat meeting was organized at the Melappalayam Masjid under the Chairpersonship of Mukarram Noor-ud-Din Saheb, the respected Tarbiyyat Secretary of the Jamaat in Tamil Nadu. Janab Sabeer Saheb recited the Holy Qur’an; Sofiya Banu Saheba recited a Nazm  from the blessed pen of our beloved Imam Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius. Different speakers such as Muhammad Rafi Saheb, Naseer Saheb and the Chair of the session Noor-ud-Din Saheb covered important topics for expanding the spiritual knowledge and awareness levels of fellow brothers and sisters in the community. The holy teachings of Islam as taught by Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) and the Imam-e-Inquilab Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) were broadly explained by the discussants on the occasion, Alhamdulillah.

The Signs of 'Saa' at'

On the Signs of the End of Times- I

“Do they then only wait for the Hour - that it should upon them unawares? But already have come some tokens thereof, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their admonition?” (Muhammad 47: 19)

The Qur’an is the only book of its kind that is not limited to a time or a place; having been revealed to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) more than fourteen centuries ago, and being also the word of the Eternal God, the Qur’an is eternally true.

Thus, the appearance of the signs of the Hour - the end of the world - which it [i.e. the Qur’an] evokes in this verse has been true throughout these fourteen centuries, is still true today, and will always be so until the end of the world. Indeed, yesterday [in a manner of speaking] it was the very coming of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) which constituted one of these signs, then it was his death, then the confrontation of the believers in Siffin, the appearance of the terrible fire in Hijaz, the Mongol invasions, etc. Today it is the profusion of money and goods, the construction of tall buildings, drug dealings to get richer. Indeed the scourges of drugs are ravaging. Several people, thousands of young people (boys and girls) fall into drugs and the merchants of death multiply their wealth on the corpses of these young people, or even the disintegration of the family unit.
