The 'Sheikh' on Life Lessons

In times of chaos and confusion in some place in the Universe when ethics and morals decline and irreligion advances, Allah (swt) sends someone with the Rooh’il Quddus- to repair and restore the path of Truth corrupted by the hands of men. With the help of divine revelations, the chosen servant of God re-establishes Tawheed back on earth: through setting standards of just conduct and practical wisdom, and by becoming a moral exemplar for the people of the times. As per Sunnat Allah, and the great Promise contained in the sacred books of the Muslims, God Almighty raises a noble soul with the light of guidance; a high representative and true successor to the spiritual throne of the Holy Prophet (sa) is sent in every era; ‘Khalifatullah’ who preaches pure scripture and practical wisdom appears in every century of Islam. Indeed, this is the true concept of 'Divine Khilafat' in the Holy Qur'an [24:56].

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, the holy founder of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International, Hazrat Imam Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius, is the Divinely-raised Mujaddid of the 15th century of Islam, and this great spiritual mentor of our times speaks with the help of Rooh’il Quddus. While speaking to his disciples and followers, the Sheikh-ul-Islam (aba) famously stated once: ‘I give not lectures but mixtures for your mental health and moral invigoration. So take my words as medicines necessary for your health...

Hazrat Saheb (aba) recently shared some beautiful life lessons with his spiritual children- the sincere disciples around him, and we reproduce those practical advices here for the benefit of our readers- the discerning minds to reflect on, and profit by in their own life-settings, including inter-personal relations:

(1) On dignity and self- respect: ‘Either they like you, or they don't like [you]. Never try to convince somebody of your worth. If a person doesn't appreciate you, they don't deserve you. Respect yourself, and be with people who truly value ‘you’ ’.

(2) On honesty and trust: A real man has nothing to hide. He will tell you the truth about whatever you want to know. Because he knows that if he's 100% honest with you, you will trust him no matter what.

(3) On people you meet: ‘In life, you will realize there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you; some will love you; some will use you; some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the amazing and rare people who remind you why you are worth it, and how beautiful you are, in and out.’

(4) Special Duahs:

When problems come into your life like a non-stop rain, always remember that God will always be your Umbrella.

'Allahhuma Inni As'alukal Afiyah’

One makes this Duah seeking ‘Afiyah’ : to save oneself from affliction; to be healthy; to have enough money to live; to have your children protected, and to be granted forgiveness with no punishment.

‘Allahhuma Inni As'alukal  Jannah':

O Allah, I ask You for Paradise

'Allahumma Ajirnee Minar Naar':

'O Allah, protect me from Hellfire'

Allahuma-ja'alna-Mufliheen

'O Allah, make us among the successful people'

Allahuma Kama A'hsantu Khalqi Fa-Ahsin Khuluqi

O Allah, as you have beautified me, beautify my character.

(5) 'Love All for the sake of Allah.’

O People,

You came naked

You will go naked

You arrived weak

You will leave weak

You came without money and things

You will leave even without money and things

Your first bath

Someone wash you

Your last bath

Someone will wash you

This is Life.

So, why

 so much malice

so much envy

so much hate

so much resentment

And so much selfishness

Be kind to everyone

And do good deeds

We have limited time on earth

Don't waste it in uselessness

To understand what life is, visit three locations:

(1)The hospital, (2) The prison and (3) The cemetery.

At the Hospital, you will understand that nothing is more beautiful and important than health.

In Prison, you will see that freedom is the precious thing.

At the Cemetery, you will realize that this life is worth nothing, the ground we walk today will be our roof tomorrow.

Let us, therefore, remain humble by having the fear of God and respect for each other.

Allah, when I think about all that You've done for me, I am overwhelmed with thanks. You are so good and kind to me! Thank you for being my steady source of hope and joy. You are worthy to be praised at all times, in every situation! Ameen, Summah Ameen, Ya Rabbul Alameen.
