‘Nowadays I have
nothing to do with Munir Ahmed Azim', so wrote Zafrullah Domun Sahib
to an Ahmadi Brother in Kerala. In his
Friday sermons these days, however, the Domun Sahib “acknowledges”
the Divine Manifestation. Yet, he forgets to name the person behind it, in
whose hands he himself took the Bai’at in the year 2003! It is the same Domun Sahib who even proclaimed that if ever he had to
stand by the Ka’aba to say that Munir Azim is the truthful one and that the messages
he receives are truthful messages, he shall without hesitation do so. What explains this 180-degree shift in his
positions between then and now? Humility of obedience and vanity of pride and arrogance are both traits ingrained in human nature and the distance is not
much, reminds the Holy Qur’an. In a recent Book, Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) reflected
upon the reasons behind the shifting stand of Zafrullah Domun Sahib. Read extracts
from the recent Book:
And Allah says in the
Holy Quran:
Man is not weary of supplication for good (things), but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing. And if We let him taste mercy from Us after an adversity which has touched him, he will surely say, "This is (due) to me…” (41: 50-51)

It is most unfortunate that after hundreds of
divine favours in the aftermath of recognising and accepting a humble Messenger
of Allah, Zafrullah Domun Sahib went away along with his family members from
the Divine Manifestation they witnessed at close view. He “acknowledges” the Divine Manifestation but not
the person behind it; person
whom Allah has chosen as His Elect and whom he recognizes and took the Bai’at (oath of
allegiance) in the year 2003 onwards.
Recently he testified in his Friday Sermon (06 January 2012):
“Today is also the first Friday of this year. I cannot forget that fateful day of 5th January 2001 when the then amir made a Khutbah Jummah in
At that time He told us
that although
it might take more than ten years yet what was promised would come to pass. You
all know how the then amir thought that he was riveted to the chair of amarat
with the blessings of his clique from London .
But Allah kept repeating to us
that “I will
humiliate he who tries to humiliate you” and “we will punish them from where they expect
not”. Nowadays everyone knows how evil has been the lot of that
amir. He has been ousted from his chair
by the caliph in person although quite reluctantly and with great humiliation.
The world has seen what happens when you try to mess with Allah’s representatives.”
Now, it is
interesting to note that Zafrullah Domun Sahib has witnessed so much and verily
it became true what Allah has vouchsafed to this humble self (as the recipient
of the divine messages he mentioned in his Friday Sermon), and yet he finds
himself now far from the circle of Allah’s Representative (Khalifatullah).
As I recall, since a
long time the title of “Khalifatullah” was bestowed upon
this humble self, and Zafrullah Domun Sahib and I (from the revelations
bestowed upon this humble self), Allah made us two Khalilullahs (Friends of
Allah) and afterwards (08 March 2003) Umaraa’ul Mumineen (that
is, two Amir’ul Mumineen). Without inflating myself with arrogance or an aura
of superiority, the titles which Zafrullah Domun Sahib received were only due
to his attachment and bonding with this humble self.
But unfortunately
like the verse of the Holy Quran describes (41:
50-51), he thinks that the divine favours he received were due to his own
efforts and exclusive communion with Allah. "This
is (due) to me…” (41:
50-51) And it is a reality that he
did exert such authority to this humble self on many occasions whereby he
thought that it is him that I should obey! I never did Bai’at in his hands, but it is him who did take Bai’at on this humble one’s hands when
he himself received clear instructions from Allah that all my revelations were
true divine revelations and that he should not be among the doubters.
In the prime times of
Jamaat
Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen, he did not hesitate to expound the divine
messages which this humble self received to others so that these words can act
as an eye-opener for them to the truth. So many divine messages he explained
and commented upon so that the listeners may have faith. He even proclaimed that if ever he had to
stand by the Ka’aba to say that Munir Azim is the truthful one and that the
messages he receives are truthful messages, he shall without hesitation do so.
Saying and doing are two different things, and Allah tried him with the words he said
on this humble self – the good things. Now, Munir Azim in his eyes has
become the worst creature from whom he had to separate. Allah promised so many
good things to us, but unfortunately this spiritual brother of mine has become
an alienating figure in the Divine Manifestation. He claims that he stills receives
revelations, and I am not going to comment on what he says because Allah gives
revelation to whomever He wants, and forgives whomever He wants.
But what I have to say is:
a) In being recipient of divine revelations also, there are
stages.
Just like Balaam was also a recipient of divine revelations in the times of
Musa (as), but the degree of light of the revelations of Musa (as) was far more
penetrating than that of Balaam. Balaam thought that he was superior to Musa
(as) but when he entered into contest with Musa (as), he went to his loss.
b) Ever since the
“split” between the humble Muhyi-ud-Din and his disciple Zafrullah Domun Sahib
and the majority of the members of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen,
people (like
recently (January 2012) Kamaruddin Sahib from Kerala, India) have
enquired as to whether there were instances when “Mulhams” and “Khalifatullahs”
who were once together then denied each other.
One thing I have to make clear that at any moment I have not denied that Zafrullah Domun Sahib was a recipient of divine revelations. On the contrary I affirm that he was a recipient of divine revelations when we were together for this was a clear proof of my veracity as Elect of Allah in this era. But people like Kamaruddin Sahib make error in thinking that we both received the title and mission of Khalifatullah.

But people like Kamaruddin Sahib make error in thinking that we both received the title and mission of Khalifatullah.
To my knowledge, Zafrullah Domun Sahib never
received the title of Khalifatullah while
he and his family members were amidst the circle of the Divine Manifestation in
Mauritius .
There was only one Muhyi-ud-Din and Khalifatullah whom Allah raised and that is
why Zafrullah Domun Sahib became the first disciple ever to have taken Bai’at on this humble self’s hand. At any moment, I did not receive any divine instructions to
take Bai’at I also on his hands.
Instead the honours he obtained were because of his affiliation with this
humble self, but unfortunately, he then thought: "This
is (due) to me…” (41:
50-51)
When Allah decided to
try them (Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen members) with His Khalifatullah,
they behaved arrogantly and wanted to control His Chosen One through their
mundane Managing Committee, and
absolutely wanted to have answers to their questions, as if the Khalifatullah
should act according to their desire and authority. And moreover they did not
hesitate to pry into my private life and questioned my privacy whereas I never
enquired from them about their own privacy. A Khalifatullah is only accountable to Allah. But Allah warned in the Holy Quran:
“Do the
people think that they will be left to say, “We believe” and they will not be
tried?”
(29: 3)
“Oh Believers, do not ask questions about
things which if made plain to you may cause you trouble ...” (5: 103)
It is a fact also
that in the times of Musa (as), when he left his people in the care of Haroun
(as), the latter did not do his work well as commanded by Musa (as) and Musa
(as) pulled the beard of Haroun (as) and reprimanded him severely. He left his
people under his care but unfortunately he let Samiri make Musa’s (as) people
take a deviating path. Even though the Quran mentions Haroun (as), but after
this incident, does the Quran talk more about Haroun (as)?
Haroun (as) was
indeed a follower of Musa (as) turned into a Minister-Prophet as a helping hand
in the mission of Musa (as), but Musa (as) remains without doubt the law-bearer
(receiving the Tauraat (Torah)). Despite that Haroun (as) received divine
revelations he also, but it was due to the extraordinary prayers of his brother
Musa (as) to Allah. It was indeed an
honour that a disciple became a prophet-helper in the aftermath of the prayers
of the Elect of Allah.
Now the Quran also expounds about Caroun also.
Caroun was someone whom Allah had bestowed many favours from among the people
of Musa (as), but after Allah enriched him and bestowed His favours upon him,
he became arrogant and thought that he sufficed for himself. Verily he also
went to his loss.
Moreover the Holy
Quran honours Divine-raised kings – King Talut and Prophet (and King) Dawud
(as) – at some point both of them were at odds with each other because of the
evil plans of the hypocrites and evil-doers – they were adamant in creating
rifts between the two men – but then both of them reconciled before the death
of Talut, the first King of Israel whom Allah chose for them.
c) Furthermore, in
the communications between Kamaruddin Sahib (from Kerala) and Zafrullah Domun
Sahib, Kamaruddin Sahib affirms:
“And one more thing I tell you that when I asked Zafarulla Domun about Munir Ahmed Azim he sent me the document ‘Lion Of God’ and told me to conclude myself about Munir Azim and he further told ‘Nowdays I have nothing to do with Munir Ahmed Azim'. It means nowdays he is aganist Munir Azim. Think that both were together getting revelations of Allah, Both were together Khalifathullah before, later splits. What is this? Still getting revelations to Munir Azim and to Zafarulla domun also. Allah two 'Mulahms' fights each other. Mistake happend to Allah (Naozubillah)?!!!!!!”
How easily Zafrullah
Domun Sahib says: ‘Nowdays I have nothing to do with Munir Ahmed Azim'. Long ago
he used to attract the attention of the Jamaat that there was one first
disciple of the Promised Messiah (as) who believed in him as the Mujaddid of
his age, but then when Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) proclaimed himself as the
Messiah, that first disciple ceased to believe in him and left him! So similar
is that disciple of the Promised Messiah (as) with Zafrullah Domun Sahib!
In addition, I want
to attract the attention of Zafrullah Domun Sahib that Lion of God is not the
answer replied by any Recipient of Divine Revelations, but rather Mansoor Ahmad
Sahib, the disciple of Abdul Ghaffar Janbah Sahib. Now, has Zafrullah Domun
Sahib taken Mansoor Ahmed Sahib as among “Allah’s representatives”?!!!
Then why then the famous “Lion of God” of Mansoor Ahmed Sahib and he himself
has not yet signed the clear Mubahila Challenge I invited them to? Indeed “asses fleeing
(when confronted with) the (real) Lion of God” as the Quran puts it!
Be frank and truthful Zafrullah Domun Sahib – be truthful
concerning the “Us” and “We” you mention in your Friday Sermons
concerning the Divine Manifestation! With reference to this Quranic
verse: "This is (due) to me…” (41: 50-51), it became so manifest that
you even demand insistently that your name be mentioned on the Bai’at
form that required the new entrants in the Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen
to accept. You wanted them to take Bai’at
not only with this humble self, but with you also. And this clearly showed
the path you were leading yourself in. You thought that your name “deserved” to
be mentioned in the Bai’at form
whereas this can’t be when Allah already raised His Muhyi-ud-Din and you were
his very close disciple.
Be frank and truthful. Do not hide the truth of
Allah from people”….
