The Importance of Prayer -III

When we are praying, i.e., when we are performing our Salat, duahs, the Darood Sharif and other prayers, they are mainly in Arabic, but it is not forbidden to submit your prayers (invocations) in your own language as well. Without this, you cannot progress! The Arabic as well as a good understanding of the Arabic is vital for the believer needs to know what he is saying and asking of God Almighty.

Prayers, which are submitted in humility and with full dedication, are accepted by Almighty Allah and the sins of such people are forgiven. God Almighty says: “Innal hasanaati yudhhib nas-say-yi aati.” (Surah Hud 11: 115) - i.e., Good deeds wipe out bad deeds. The real impact of the state of humility can only be achieved in one’s own language. So, now and then, do pray in your own language. The best prayer is Surah Al-Fatiha because it is a very comprehensive prayer. When a farmer is aware of farming tricks, then he always achieves a good crop. So, you should look for the Straight Path to Almighty God and pray: “O my Lord! I am a sinner, in deep trouble. Show me the right path.”

Minor and big matters, all, should be submitted without any hesitation to God. He is the only One Who can forgive. Pious are those who pray, and pray a lot. If you knock at a miser’s door constantly, even he is bound to listen to you one day. So, how is it possible that the Gracious and Merciful God will not reward you? A good beggar always manages to get the reward in the end. The second name of Salat is prayer. As God Almighty says:

“Wa idha sa alaka ibadi anni, fa inni qareeb. Ujeebu da’watad daa’ee idha da aaani, fal yasta jeebuulee, wal yuminuu-bee, la allahum yarshuduun.”

“When My servants ask you concerning Me, (tell them) I am very close and always listen to those who call upon Me; so they should answer My call too, and believe in Me, so that they may be guided aright.” (Al-Baqara 2: 187).

In other words, Allah is telling His servants: Some people have doubts about My existence; the only sign of My existence is that you call Me and submit your demands. I will listen to you, will respond and remember You.

Whoever does not believe in the strength of prayer is an atheist. The only path to reach God is by prayers. The time has come that the existence of God must be recognised. The fact of the matter is that atheists during gatherings make fun of prayers and if someone says “Insha-Allah” they consider him foolish. If these people have the slightest relationship with God they would not make such remarks. If you love someone you always find ways to remember his name. If these people do not care about God they should be ready for failures and will not be spared. The more we believe in God, the more they deny. In fact they need the blessing of God. If He does not open their hearts nobody else can do it. If God wishes, He can infuse wisdom in a dog, to make him realize of His attributes and can keep the human being ignorant.

As you know, in the Salat, Surah Al-Fatiha has great impact. It should not matter how you feel but you must continue to recite this in the prayer. Recite: “Iyyaaka nahbudu wa iyyaaka nasta-een. Ihdinas-siraatal mustaqeem”, again and again, in the prayer and in the prostration, recite: “Yaa-Hayyu Yaa Qayyum bi-Rahmatika astagheethu.” There is no surety how long you are going to live and this world is like a misleading dream. Pray during the night, pray in the morning, go in a jungle to pray, pray in congregation, in isolation and pray behind closed doors so that God help you to disassociate yourselves from worldly attractions. As far as possible, try to show humility and cry in prayers to attract God’s mercy. Go in front of God in a clean condition as it is desired by the Almighty and mentioned in the Holy Quran.

Laziness is harmful and people, who do not venture, do not achieve anything. While God Almighty has promised to accept prayers, at the same time He has attached some conditions to this; therefore He says: “Fal yasta jeebuulee wal yuminuu-bee”; the first condition is of “Fal yasta jeebuulee”, [Answer My call too], i.e., “Have faith in Me and obey My instructions” which are indicated in the Holy Quran. If you follow these instructions you will gain the favour of Almighty God and your prayers will be accepted.

The second condition is of: “Wal yuminuu-bee” [And believe in Me], i.e., “Have an absolute faith in My existence and My attributes”, then your prayers will attain the status of acceptance. These are the two basic conditions but if you ignore them and think that your prayers will be accepted, you are indeed deluding yourselves – you are in a manifest error.

Salaat (prayer) is the minimum standard for remembrance of Allah, without which one cannot maintain spiritual life. Those who observe prayers; now, unless they make sure that their children do observe prayers, no guarantee can be given for the glorious future of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam.

So, a Warner has appeared in this world but the world is not listening to him. God will listen to him and with great force will reveal his truthfulness.

Listen carefully and remember when you have any misgivings, throw them on your right side and then recite: “La Hawla wa laa Quwwata illaa billah ‘il Aliyyil-Azim” and do this abundantly and pray. I firmly tell you that this is your duty, to be ready, feel strong and keep your weapon ready. What is that weapon? That weapon is the prayers, i.e. Salat, testifying that there is no god but Allah “Laa Ilaaha Illallah”, reciting the Darood Sharif and repeated recitation of the Surah Al-Fatiha and “La Hawla wa laa Quwwata illaa billah ‘il Aliyyil-Azim”. Keep these weapons with you all the time and use them. Always keep asking forgiveness from sins already committed.

On Fridays recite the Darood Sharif with deep affection which will secure God’s favour. Keep remembering God. The more you remember God, the more it will help you to attain Allah’s favours and He will accept your prayers.

I pray regularly that my Jamaat – Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam – is to be counted among those who have the fear of Allah, pray regularly and get up during the night and cry before God Almighty. They should not forget their responsibilities and prostrate to God. They should not become miserable, ignore their status and go astray. I am confident; God will accept my prayers and will show me that I am leaving behind such righteous people. Not such people who’s eyes’ look at the wrong things, their hearts are filthy and do not think they are going to die. I and my God do not care about them and I will be glad if such people leave my Jamaat. The Jamaat which my God has revealed to me in 2008 is the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam. I pray that my Allah, my Almighty God enable only the pious to grace this Jamaat and form part of it, not people who are slaves of their own desires, who follow the satanic whisperings and hanker after the world.

God wishes to make my Jamaat comprise of such people who are fully covered in the attributes of God, who maintain a very high level of piousness, people who have given preference to religion over materialistic benefits. But those hypocrites who put their hand in my hand with the commitment to give preference to religion over worldly affairs, when they go home, they forget their commitment, and start again their materialistic life. Neither are their thoughts good nor are their hearts clean. Their hands do not move towards the right direction and their foot do not make any movement for good work. They are a cheat and will not be counted as one of us, because they are not considered to be truthful by Almighty God.

Therefore, I humbly appeal to all my disciples around the world who are found in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to examine, honestly, the performance of prayers of their children at home. I am scared that the findings will be upsetting, because the conditions in which we find the children, today, are not satisfactory. Our children are our future. We should tender with care and great discipline these pearls so that they may shine with brilliance and bring honour and glory to Islam, Sahih al Islam tomorrow.

I swear in the name of Allah Who is in control of my life that He has raised me and named me as His Khalifatullah. So, absolute obedience to Allah and His Messenger leads a person to be righteous and receive the divine grace. So pray: “O our Lord, we have listened to the message of Your Khalifatullah who is inviting us to have a faith in You. O our lovely God, we have accepted Your Khalifatullah, so count us among the witnesses”. Ameen, Summa Ameen, Ya Rabbal Aalameen.
