Alhamdulillah,
Summa Alhamdulillah, today is the first day of
our Jalsa Salana, and Alhamdulillah, the subject of my sermon for today
shall be on DUAHS (i.e., the
invocations, supplications or prayers which we need to address to Allah), and
is thus a continuation of my sermon of last week.
In one of his books, the Promised Messiah (as)
advised his Jamaat; and by the grace of Allah, in this era, I also advise my
Jamaat to recite this duah in the last Rakah (cycle) of your Namaz
(Salat/ prayer), after Ruku, after having recited: “Rabbana wa lakal-Hamd; Hamdan kasiran tayyeban Mubarakan
fih” then recite: “Rabbana atina
fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil ʻaakhirati
hasanatan waqina ʻadhaban-naar.” - Our Lord! Grant us good
(or success) in this world and good (or success) in the hereafter, and save us
from the chastisement of the fire.
We recite this duah usually when we find
ourselves in the sitting position after Sijda. Thus, it is not
obligatory to read it every time but one who finds that he can do it, then let
him do it (i.e. recite this duah as many times that he wants), where he
asks Allah: Grant us success in this world and success in the hereafter, and
save us from the chastisement of the hellfire.
A duah of Hazrat Adam (as) which I
recommend my Jamaat to recite is as follows: “Rabbana
zalamna anfusina wa illam taghfirlana wa tarhamna lana kunana minal-khasireen”
- Our Lord! We have wronged our own souls: If You do not forgive us and do
not bestow upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be lost.
This duah was verily accepted by Allah
in favour of Hazrat Adam (as).
By the grace of Allah, today the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam is doing lots of
progress in the field of spirituality, in countries which we did not expect,
yet Allah (swt) gave these nations/ countries guidance (Hidayah), and
opened their hearts to Sahih al Islam.
Indeed Allah (swt) has blessed this small island called Mauritius and it is in
this in this island that He has raised His chosen servant with the Holy Spirit.
Allah (swt) knows very well what has happened
in Mauritius. He knows about the every debate, publication, pamphlet and literature
which has been shared, published to inform people about the fact that the door
of prophethood is ever open after the advent of our noble prophet Hazrat
Muhammad (pbuh) and that the descend of divine revelations shall continue till
the Day of Judgement. All the arguments of these people were in vain. They
remained only on their lips and on paper, for when Allah tried them greatly with
the same arguments they used, they failed miserably. They forgot their own
arguments. Today, their beliefs in the advent of a Messenger of Allah and
divine revelations have become worse than the others. But, I shall not delve
more on the subject, for I have already talked about it lengthily before.
Allah (swt) gave that very blessing (which they used to preach about and which they then refused themselves) to other peoples and countries, and it is these people and countries who have received these divine graces and favours, and thus, in this present state, I advise the members of my Jamaat to recite this duah profusely: “Rabbana la tuzigh quluubana ba’da iz hadaitana wa hablana milladunka rahmah innaka antal Wahhab”, where we ask Allah: Our Lord! Do not let our hearts deviate now after You have guided us, but grant us mercy from Your own Presence; for You are the Grantor of bounties without measure.

All these are duahs which are found in
the Holy Quran and which Allah revealed to His chosen servants, in such situation
as we are living now in this era. Therefore, in His infinite wisdom and immense
pleasure, by raising the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al
Islam, Allah (swt) has revived the duahs again through this
humble servant present before you today in this era. This is the work of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam: to revive the Sahih al Islam which the holy prophet (pbuh)
has taught us and which Allah (swt) has guided us to through the Kitaabum-Munir (such a Book to illumine us
all); in other words, the Holy Quran, for all those who seek Light.
One more time in this era, Allah (swt) has
commanded His chosen servant to revive these duahs for all those who
seek the Light to illumine their path. These duahs - already exist - but due to the fact that the world has
entered into darkness, where it is black out everywhere, therefore people do
not see anymore the beauty of these most beautiful duahs. It is with the advent of Allah’s (swt) Munir, i.e. when Allah sent His Munir, that Allah enabled the revival of these
duahs, and to give to the people the light derived from these duahs and thus reviving the duahs which Allah (swt) revealed to His
chosen servants in the past.
It is therefore important for you to read/
recite the duahs which I present
before you, and this shall help you to kill the roots of bidat (innovations)
and also to detach yourselves from this world filled with sins, and Insha-Allah
with the support of these duahs,
Allah (swt) shall remove each of us from obscurity and lead us towards light.
So, I put these very beautiful duahs before you and which are found in
the Quran itself, and with all humility, since the beginning of the divine
manifestation, Allah revealed me those same duahs several times and He
even revealed me additional words to these duahs, such words which I was
not aware of before. Had Allah (swt) not revealed them to me, especially in
those very difficult times of trials and backbiting on the pulpit (minbar
of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)) which created hatred in the hearts of people
(against me)… anyways, each time Allah (swt) sends His chosen servant, there is
the rise of such (evil) people like: Pharaoh, Abu Jahl, Nimrud, Judah etc. and
in this era also there are those who have been born in the colours of these
wrongdoers.
Therefore, duah
is verily our greatest weapon. There is no other weapon which is greater in
power than duahs, especially the duahs which I shall mention before you. These
duahs had been revealed (by Allah)
when those wrongdoers (Zaalimeen) crossed all their limits.
Rabbi inni maghlubun fantasir.
O Allah, I am overcome, please help me.
And afterwards, I received the following duah:
Rabbi inni
maghlubun fantasir fassahikum tashiiqa.
O Allah, I am overcome, extract revenge on my behalf,
and reduce them to dust.
Another duah:
Rabbighfir warham minas samai.
O Allah, forgive and send blessings from above
(i.e. the heavens).
Rabbi tawaffani
musliman wal-hiqni bis-saliheen.
Ô Allah, give me death as a Muslim
(when I am wholly submitted to You) and count me among the good doers.
Moreover: Rabbi
najjini min ghammi.
O Allah remove all my sadness.
Rabbi habli zurriyatan tayyiba.
O my Lord, give me pure children.
Rabbana aamana faktubna ma’ ash-shahideen.
Our Lord! We believe; write us down among the witnesses
Rabbana ji’naka mazluumina fafruq
baynana wa bayna qawma minaz zaaalimeen.
Our Lord, we have come in a state of martyrs.
Distinguish between us and the wrongdoing people.
May Allah give me the Tawfeeq to
continue this sermon next Friday on the same subject. Insha-Allah. And I
end my sermon for today with this duah:
Rabbana faghfir lana zunubana
inna kunna khate-ine.
Our Lord, forgive us our sins, for we are among
those who sinned.
Ameen
Summa Ameen, Ya Rabbal Aalameen.
