Jesus’ Travels Post Crucifixion

  

All the Messengers of Allah, especially the law-bearing prophets were made in some way or another to leave their initial place of residence for another place through the will of Allah. Sometimes, places within their own homelands or they switched altogether countries where their missions went on to be successful.

Today I would like to put before you the heart-touching story and the lesson which Jesus – Hazrat Isa (as) has given us in his emigration from Jerusalem to Kashmir in India. [Inset: Jesus in western art, symbolic- not historically accurate, representation]. 

In his post-crucifixion period, Jesus was helped by his well-wishers and disciples in secret. His disciples on record may have been official twelve men, out of which one (i.e. Judas) became a hypocrite and “sold” him to his enemies, but he may have had many secret disciples not recorded in history who became sincere help when he had to flee Jerusalem. From a study of his life, and the research of various authors including the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), Jesus (as) may have stayed in Palestine, as well as Afghanistan and Northern India before he finally met his lost sheep, i.e. the Lost Tribes of Israel.

Keys of the Ka’aba: A Dream

  

Ka’aba is the first spiritual home of human kind. From Hazrat Adam (as) through Hazrat Ibrahim (as) and Hazrat Ismail (as), the grand legacy of Tawheed, the mantle of sublime worshipful practices in utter devotion to the Unique Lord of the worlds, reached its religious perfection and ethical permanence with the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) and the establishment of Islam. The unique history of that ancient spiritual space in Arabia is commemorated, through the long, thriving spiritual traditions of Tawaf in Makkah, the great Hajj, as well as Umrah. As the Baitullah is in the spiritual heart of the Muslim world, the pilgrims flock to the place from around the world, literally, every day and year.  

 

Indeed, circumambulation at the ancient House of God is emblematic of true spirituality in Islam. In the Islamic tradition, it is recorded that several Adams have performed their Tawaf around the Ka’aba over countless ages. Noble souls, Elects of God in particular, will be eager to perform their Tawaf. Consider the Islamic traditions that preserve glad tidings concerning the advent of Divinely-raised souls to restore Islamic teachings in every era. It is also foretold that such an inspired soul, the Islamic Messiah of the Later Days, will perform Tawaf around Makkah, perform Umrah or Hajj, or both.

By the immense grace and blessings of Allah, the prophecy about the Islamic Messiah entering Makkah to perform Tawaf stands literally fulfilled in our times with the Muhyi-ud-din Al Khalifatullah Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius, accompanied by members of the holy family, performing Umrah in February 2018, Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah. 

A recent, beautiful dream made by Hazrat Saheb (aba) in this blessed month of Ramadan foretells glad tidings for the Jamaat’s future, especially about the continuation of the holy trusteeship of the Divine mission, with a future Khalifa along with countless followers also performing the Tawaf, holding the keys of the Ka’aba in a mystical or literal way, Insha Allah. The dream of the Khalifatullah (aba) on the 22nd of April 2022 also reminds old members of the Jamaat about a remarkable Kashaf (spiritual visions) made by Hazrat Ummul Mu'mineen Fazli Amena Varsally on 20- 21 April 2018 on the larger theme of preservation of Ka'baa keys- a metaphor for the safeguarding of enduring Islamic teachings as taught by the Holy Prophet (sa). For the spiritual benefit of everyone, the extracts from Jamaat communications sent by Hazrat Tayyeba Shaheeda Aliah Nasrine on the two different occasions, narrating these spiritual experiences, are reproduced below:  

The Signs of the Hour- I

 

(He is the) Knower of the unseen, disclosing none of it to anyone, Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him.---(Al-Jinn, 72: 27-28)

 

The trust that Allah (swt) places on His prophet is that He sends His messages upon him from heaven and Allah wants His prophet to spread the message of his Creator to all mankind, in the four corners of the world. The sacred duty of this prophet is to spread the divine message in the name of Allah and it is this verily that will lead [people] to the right path.

 

O humanity! Do you not see how Allah created the seven heavens one above the other and placed the moon therein as a light and made the sun as a lamp?

'I am the Messiah of this Era'

"I want neither pelf nor power. I have been commissioned by Allah as a Warner unto mankind, and deliver His message to you. Should you accept it, you shall have felicity in this life as well as in the life to come. Should you reject the word of Allah, surely Allah will decide between you and me." 

More than 1400  years ago, addressing the doubting Makkan chieftains of his times, Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa)  emphatically declared his Divinely-inspired spiritual Mission in the aforesaid words. Through out history, the Holy Prophet's ringing words have been the signature tune of Islamic Messiahs and other Divine Elects; people who spoke with the help of Holy Spirit (Roohul Quddus) and were known by different spiritual titles. Like the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian (1835-1908 CE) in the previous era, Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius in this era claims Divine revelations and messages as the authority behind his spiritual titles and religious claims as the Imam, Caliph, Mujaddid and Messiah of this era. 

06 December 2003. Almost 15 years ago, it was  on this day that Hazrat Saheb (aba) made his official proclamation as the Muhyi-ud-Din (Reviver of the Faith) and the Messiah of this era. The Speech is noteworthy on a number of grounds. As the Founding Head of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen, Hazrat Munir (aba) explains the spiritual and material circumstances in which the Jamaat was founded as a distinct group of believers who follow all teachings of Islam.
