Eid-ul-Fitr 2022

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr yesterday, 01 Shawwal 1443 AH~ 03 May 2022 in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and elsewhere in India and beyond. Brothers, sisters and children of the Jamaat assembled, inter alia, at the historic Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra and at the Siraj-um-Munir Masjid, VK Puram.

In a special message on the occasion to his disciples in India, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Al Muhyi-ud-Din Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius  conveyed 'Eid Mubarak' to everyone, and also his appreciation for all those who fervently sacrifice their personal comforts in favour of the call of Allah and His Prophet (sa) and also of His Khalifatullah (aba) in this era, thereby seeking to revive and renew the sacred teachings and practices of Islam for the benefit of all humanity. Hazrat Saheb (aba) exhorts true believers in this era to hold the Faith and its obligations far above their mundane personal interests; to do persistent striving to create an altogether 'new' world in our own social circles - a world respectful of spiritual values, like in the times of the Holy Prophet (sa). Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) points out that believers in this era can renew the grand legacy of the Sahaba-i-Kiraam by becoming model exemplars of faith in their own everyday lives, Insha Allah, Aameen.

'Daughters, Work for Divine Approval'

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, the Siraj Makin- women’s wing of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam- in Kerala recently organized a Deen-i-Ta’lim programme, the second of a series of study-circle meetings being planned for the year. The Sadr of the Kerala Jamaat, Rajeena Sadiq Ali Saheba, and Na’ib Sadr Fauzia Jamal Saheba led the meeting proceedings and several activities at the historic Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra on Saturday, 07 March 2020.

In a special message on the occasion, International Sadr of the Siraj Makin Hadhrat Ummul Mu'mineen Fazli A. Varsally Saheba encourages women comrades of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to transform themselves into inspirational role models for all true devotees and lovers of God Almighty. Critical to bringing about this profound change at the personal level is the individual believer's ability to identify with, and to renew in their own lives and social circles, the extraordinary legacy of the early Muslim women who sacrificed their all for their faith/convictions- seeking only the pleasure of God, notes Hadhrat Saheba in this discourse.

Sahabiyat: Exemplary Role Models

Siraj Makin, the women’s collective of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, organized a One-Day Ta’lim Majlis (Divinity Study Programme) at the historic Noor'ul Islam Masjid Mathra, South Kerala, India on Wednesday, 11 September 2019~ 10 Muharram 1441 AH. The Ta’lim Majlis essentially sought to build upon the earlier initiatives of the Kerala Siraj Makin- the programmes of 09 February 2019, 19-20 April 2019 & 23 June 2019- for the benefit of its members so as to keep them aware of the Deeni Ta’lim, and to provide them an opportunity for collective learning.

Addressing the women believers on the occasion, Imam-Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hadhrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (atba) of Mauritius underscored the significance of personal sacrifices and religious services for nourishing the spiritual landscape around us. The exemplary personal modesty, dignity and morality, as well as the trail-blazing footprints of early believers is certainly an important source to mine by sincere seekers in their individual and collective quest for God's approval in all that they engage in. Illustrating this point, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) calls attention to episodes from the glorious chapter of Islamic golden era: the personal piety and selfless religious services of the Sahabiyat- the women comrades of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa). The  remarkable  lives and services of our pious elders from the early Muslim community continues to move the truly devout in the Divine Path in every generation of the Muslims. It is by seeking to honour the blessed memory  of their pious deeds and sacrifices through our own every day life that we can claim true kinship to Islamic values in this darkened era, points out Hadhrat Saheb (atba).

Dear Siraj Makin of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam of Kerala,
Assalamoualaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakaatuhu.

I wish to congratulate you for the initiative that you have again undertaken to organize this Taalim/ Tarbiyat meeting (11 September 2019) and to deepen your ties of sisterhood and to learn new lessons and teachings which will Insha-Allah benefit you your lives throughout.

Today I have chosen to address you on the following topic:

Exemplary Sacrifices of the Sahabiyat of the time of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa).

During the first period of Islam, Muslim women gave examples of sacrifices in the path of religion. These exemplary sacrifices will remain alive in the annals of Islam. These are, for you, examples to follow until the day of Qiyamah.

'Zikrullah': Remembrance of Allah

My dear daughters,
Assalaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuh.

Congratulations to you all for your special meeting this 23rd June 2019. May Allah purify your intellect and enable you to educate yourselves and all our Siraj Makin members with utmost devotion. Ameen.

Today I would like to expound on the importance of Zikrullah (Remembrance of Allah). Allah talked about the importance of His remembrance in many verses of the Holy Quran, among which, He says:

Remember Me, and I will remember you, and be thankful to Me, and be not ungrateful to Me. (2: 153).

You need to know that Zikrullah is very important in one’s spiritual life. Zikrullah is the food of the soul. Remember, Allah loves us, and craves for our love also. He wants us to remember Him always, in any and every situation which may crop up in our daily life. Be it in happy days and sad days, Allah should always be in your mind, to thank Him and to ask of Him to give you the strength and courage to deal with all problems of life and to advance in spirituality, and to become a sincere and pious help for His cause.

The help of Allah is vital for the success of a cause. And the most vital of causes is the Cause of Allah. We women and girls of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam should never forget to remember Allah and to give Him thanks and be grateful to Him.

We should always thank Allah, for everything, even if it be a problem or calamity, because Allah knows what is best for us. He guides us to unimaginable situations to gauge our faith and reaction, to see if we are really sincere towards Him and His Divine Manifestation. Many of us have lost many things in the path of Allah, but in return Allah has promised us a goodly reward, be it in this world and the hereafter.

So, you must not be discouraged. Keep up your connection with Allah through your obligatory Salat (prayers) and the voluntary prayers as well, and recite His attributes. Seek Him through His attributes.

Spiritual Meeting in Kerala: A Report

Members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam from across the State of Kerala (India) assembled at the historic Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra between 15-17 May 2015. Brothers, sisters and children of the Jamaat came for the Special Get Together Programme with the broader objective of shared learning, mutual discussions and to perform collective prayers and to develop spiritual solidarity in an atmosphere of informal cordiality within the fraternity. Brothers and sisters from Palakkad, Alappuzha, Kochi (Ernakulum), Kodungallur and Kaliyikkavila, and also from Delhi, reached Mathra to join our Sahih Al Islam families in the place, ahead of the scheduled commencement of the Three-day programme.

On Friday, the 15th May 2015, all members assembled together at the Masjid for the Jum’ah Prayers. In the second-half of the Jum’ah Qutubah, the Amir Jamaat, Mukarram R. Jamaluddin Saheb formally declared the commencement of the Programme. The Three-Day Programme had a different format altogether:

Brothers were routinely encouraged to recite the Holy Qur’an in Arabic along with the Translation of the verses in Malayalam and the meeting speeches were held in close proximity with prayer timings so as to allow all our women members (who were otherwise busy also to prepare food for the gathering) also to take part and listen to the special Speeches being made at the Mosque.

In his remarks, the Amir Saheb viewed the Programme as an occassion to come, stay and pray together in an atmosphere of brotherly affection and friendly discussion about various spiritual matters and religious questions. Strengthening our faith and beliefs in solidarity with like-minded people becomes possible through our active and informed participation in such spiritual proceedings, he noted.

In the second session after Namaz-e-Aser, all members listened with rapt attention to the special Speech from Mauritius delivered by the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) on the occasion. Hazrat Mukarram Fazil Jamal Sahib provided the Malayalam translation of, and supplementary notes on, the Speech for the benefit of our members present. As the speech of the Khalifatullah (atba) touched upon a critical issue at the heart of our very spiritual life, the gathering sought to absorb the message in full measure- obedience to Allah and His Messenger leads to unity and solidarity within the community, testifying to right personal beliefs and integrity of practice.
