of Mauritius announced the sad news concerning the passing away of our Amir and
Imam Abd Allah Amadi of Madagascar, at the age of 63 years, on 27 April 2023 at
8.00 am [Local Time], Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raajioon.
As the ambassador of Islam to several Indian Ocean countries,
Hazrat Sheikh Khalifatullah (aba) had been travelling on Dawah missions, and Imam

came in contact with, and became a very sincere disciple of the Hazrat Sheikh Saheb (aba)

Summa Alhamdulillah.
After taking Bai’at, Imam Amadi and his son Ismail became the
light-bearers of Islam, Sahih al Islam in Madagascar. Imam AbdAllah was
relentless in Dawah, and spreading the divine message to other brothers and
sisters and many of them received Hidaayat through his exceptional efforts.

Divine Signs on a Dawah Journey
Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) visits Madagascar
By
the grace of Allah, I have returned from Madagascar after a week
there and I need to say that it was through pure divine grace that
Allah manifested such success. La
Ghaliba Illallah.
When I landed in Madagascar my disciples received me in an emotional
way for my last visit there was in 2015. They expressed themselves
openly, how they were sad that the Khalifatullah [i.e. this humble
self] did not come to visit them [since then]. There was so much
emotions on their faces and tears were in their eyes, tears of joys,
such extraordinary joy. And when I left them to return to Mauritius,
they were very sad and did not want to let me go back. They wanted me
to remain with them for a long time.
So,
I do not have words poignant enough to describe that one week [which
I spent with them]. I do not know where to begin and how to end as
there were many extraordinary events.
There
were signs which Allah (swt) manifested and which was witnessed by my
disciples in Madagascar. One of these is that when we were going to a
faraway village, and night was about to come, one of my disciples by
the name of Nasir – who is a university student – told me before
all those present in [our] transport: “O
Caliph of Allah, we are in a place in which it rarely rains, and the
people and animals, as well as the plants suffer a lot due to lack of
rain water. Please pray that Allah (swt) bless this village and rain
falls.” So, when
said this, I told him: “OK,
let’s pray!”,
and it was not yet night and yet it was so hot and the sun was still
bright [despite that it was nearing sunset]. Like there is a saying
in Creole, “the
sun was burning us to such a point that our brain was melting”.
I
raised my hands and prayed in that village. When I have finished my
supplications [duahs],
after ten minutes, the sky became dark and there was the
manifestation of lightning, such lightning which emitted an
extraordinary light. Everybody was frightened by the sound of
thunder. We all know that when lightning manifest, its manifestation
is for few seconds only with great noise, i.e. thunder. But
concerning this particular manifestation of lightning, it gave such a
great light that all people kept on looking up in the sky. And the
miracle in it is that the light formed the name of Allah in the sky.
So, I was not the only one to witness such manifestation, but the
people there. I remained silent [when I saw this] and it was the
others who were crying out to others to look up in the sky to see
that great divine manifestation [miracle]. Then, after five minutes,
there was heavy rainfall. That rain kept on falling for five days and
the people benefited from it.
So,
Alhamdulillah Summa
Alhamdulillah (by
the grace Allah), it was such a week spent in Madagascar where the
Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam made spiritual progress which cannot be
described in few words. Allah manifested His countless grace and
favours. Allah is Great and His favours also are great.

Khalifatullah visits Madagascar: A Report
On 12 August 2015: After
Tahajjud and Fajr prayers, Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir A. Azim (atba)
left for the airport. Flight for Madagascar (by Air Madagascar) was scheduled early
in the morning. Upon reaching the big island, the Khalifatullah (atba) had to
meet the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs respectively who were
very busy. The meeting was very important for the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam
which by the grace of Allah was very successful.
Top Priority for Service to Humanity
After the meeting, the
Messenger of Allah learnt that at the airport, there was a group of our Muslim
brothers, sisters and children from a neighbouring island who were facing lots
of difficulties and their situation were deplorable. They were not receiving
any flight back home after their transit (since many days) and nobody were
looking after their needs and helping them. Each time their flight was
cancelled. Therefore, the Khalifatullah (atba) gave this “Service to Humanity” work priority and
went to support these people.
Later on, when the
Khalifatullah met with the members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, he
explained why he gave this work priority, saying: “Service
to Humanity is the top of my priority, irrespective of people’s religion/faith.
Service to Humanity is an act of worship (Ibadah).
Our Jamaat is a Jamaat of Allah which needs to talk less and implement good
deeds a lot for the pleasure of Allah.”

Making Sense of the Disasters Around Us
Before
coming on the subject of today’s sermon, I would like to talk a little on the visit
of the actual Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi who came to Mauritius on
11 March 2015 as Chief Guest of Honour for the 47th Anniversary of Independence
Day (12 March 1968) of our country.
Honourable Narendra Modi was all praise for
Mauritius and the exceptional bond which binds our two countries. The humility
he showed as a statesman was much appreciated, as political leaders should be
good models for society at large, intrinsically as well as extrinsically. Honourable
Narendra Modi graced the National Assembly with his presence yesterday and axed
his speech on the celebration of both the freedom and also the struggles which
Mauritius had to do to get its independence. He also reminiscence the Dandi
March led by the Mahatma Gandhi on the 12 March 1930 paving the way towards the
Independence of India.
We,
the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam sincerely hope that the Honourable Prime Minister
of India Narendra Modi proves to be a good statesman for the betterment of
India as a whole, and to connect India to the global community in peace,
justice, liberty, and noble aspirations and plans.
Life
& Destruction through the means of Nature
Water
is Life. But sometimes, water is a means of destruction also. Too much of
something can spoil it altogether. Likewise, man needs water to live. Water is
a blessing of God. Rain falls to revive the dead earth, and provide man with
the necessary water to keep himself alive.
Very
often when man’s action is not guided according to the Divine will, but
according to his own passions, God Almighty uses the elements of nature against
him, and thus what may seem like a natural calamity is in fact a planned divine
punishment, to give mankind a wake-up call, to make them realise their error
and return to the worship of the sole God who have provided them all their
necessities and to whom they should be thankful.
Water is
life, but the same water can become a means of death. God Almighty used rain
water to flood the town and drown the people of Noah (as). The same water which
man absolutely needs to survive becomes a lethal weapon by Allah to punish
those whom He has condemned as culprits when they discard the divine warnings
through His Prophets and Messengers and do as per their own will. Water also was used as a means for
God to rescue His Prophet, Moses (as) and his followers. He opened the sea to
save His servants and bring the destruction of Pharaoh and his companions.
Disasters in the times of a Divine Elect
Since
the start of the Divine Manifestation of this age, we have witnessed many
calamities, but the exceptional nature of the Divine Manifestation, with the
advent of a Messenger of Allah is that Allah through His Messenger already
gives warnings to mankind before actually seizing mankind, or some people in
particular (as per the divine revelations) for their misdeeds.
And
Allah also affirms in the Holy Quran that the consequences of the people who
commit evil shall be evil in return, and all misgivings and calamities which
befall them are consequences of their corruption and evil deeds and thoughts. Allah
through His prophets warns of the spread of diseases, and all sorts of
calamities if people do not reform their lives and start acting righteously.
Therefore, people should not blame God for any calamity but should blame
themselves.
