‘When We told the angels, ‘Bow down before Adam,’ they all bowed.’ (2:35)
These
exemplary servants of God are the teachers of mankind; they are the carriers of the Divine Light of
justice, compassion and love for fellow human beings and all other creatures in this world. As the trustee of the Divine mission on earth, such a saintly figure is worthy
of the respect, esteem, affection, assistance, submission and obedience of
their fellow beings. When such a servant of God appears, it is likely
that devoted hearts will bend down before him in veneration, and offer their
respects and offerings to him. At one
level, it is this conceptual principle that the aforesaid Qur’anic verse in Surah Al Baqarah embodies within it.
Alhamdulillah,
Summa Alhamdulillah, we are pleased to bring to the
attention of everyone a sublime sign heralding the special spiritual status of
the Khalifatullah of this era. On Monday, 18 April 2022, in the North of
Mauritius in the afternoon, a Great Divine Sign unveiled on the person of
Allah's Messenger, the Khalifatullah of this era, Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din Munir A.
Azim (aba).
Describing the incident/ the
event of the great Sign, Hazrat Tayyeba Shaheeda Aliah Nasrine writes:
‘While he was walking on the
main road, suddenly a man came and cried out, addressing Huzur as: ‘JAI JAI GURU DEV, JAI JAI GURU DEV. His
cry attracted other people, who in turn also cried out JAI JAI GURU DEV, and they all fell down in prostration before Huzur.
They cried out: ‘GURU DEV KI... JAI!’
Huzur was very embarrassed
that these people fell down to his feet in prostration. In this awkward and
never-happened-before situation, Huzur prayed to Allah about what he should do
in this case as many people had fallen down to his feet and they were not
getting up, despite that heavy rain suddenly fell while these people were
prostrating before him. Then Huzur heard a voice, the Divine voice called out
to him, saying to put his hands on their heads, and he did so, and the people
in turn got up. Then Huzur explained to them that they should not fall to his
feet, but instead pray ONE GOD only. Huzur preached Tawheed to them; that is to say: Huzur seized this opportunity to
preach them the Unicity of God, to worship only one God and NOT to fall at his
feet.)
Huzur fell awestruck by this
situation as such an occurrence never happened to him before. Only once,
someone addressed him when he was walking: 'PRANAM
GURUJI.'
So this experience shook him, and he heard the Divine Voice guiding him what to do.
A Revealed Duah
'Alhamdulillah,
Summa Alhamdulillah, this humble self (Tayyeba Nasrine)
received a revelation this morning, never knowing that this was a revelation
being bestowed to me. I was inspired to write this Duah at 09.40am (and Huzur after relating his spiritual experience
today and after I related to him the Duah
I received, said that this was indeed a divine revelation which was literally
fulfilled today). The Duah is as
follows:
Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
O Allah!
Out of
Your Mercy and Love,
Heaven's
Most Treasured Cave has received Your Light,
Let this
Beloved Light illumine the Darkened Sky,
Let it
Shine through a Million shine,
MAKE YOUR
ANGELS
EMBRACE
YOUR DEVOTED LIGHT
WITH
SUBMISSION LIKE TO ADAM,
Make Your
Light My Light,
Which
guides me and purifies me
all the
way to my Heaven, Ameen.
Indeed, the Words in Capital
Letters was literally fulfilled when all these people fell in prostration
before Huzur like the angels prostrated before (and submitted to) Adam, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar!
A Sign narrated by a Disciple
[Recently, there was also the
manifestation in India of certain students falling on the feet of a humble
disciple of the Khalifatullah (aba) who teaches them at the University. Hazrat
Khalifatullah (aba) recommended that the experience be also shared along with
the present series of Divine Signs. Reproduced below are the edited excerpts
from a Jamaat communication where the humble disciple of the Khalifatullah
(aba) writes]:
‘....Last Monday, 11 April 2022,
I was at the university, going to my office, around 11.30 am. At the car-parking
space outside of the Building, I met a senior colleague and we were walking
together to the office to attend a faculty meeting. On the way, while still in
the main corridors of the School, my colleague and I met with some students who
were apparently waiting for us. One of them [who is not even my student/ not
under my research supervision] suddenly bowed before me in a way as if he was
about to touch my feet, and I quickly got him back to his standing position;
discouraging in a friendly-way such a gesture of cultural respect for elders
and affection and esteem for teachers in India.
In the previous month also,
when something similar happened- with an otherwise brilliant student going out
of his way to fall on my feet as an expression of his respect for his teacher-,
I did advice that student also to refrain from such high manifestations of
respect. And without offending their cultural psyche, I also told him [and
others who were also there at that time] that the spirit of the cultural
practice is to foster true respect and gratitude for knowledge and guidance,
and that to my mind, true respect for teachers is when a student becomes a refined
individual- fair minded; compassionate; ethically-conscientious in all settings
of his/her life. As someone intellectually and emotionally committed to the
pure monotheism of Islamic Tauheed, I
also shared with them my perspective that all knowledge and guidance is from
God and that one should bow down only before God, and not before any mortal
human being.’
