Further more, in a special address to the gathering of women members of the Jamaat in Kerala, the ‘Sadr’ of the International Siraj Makin, Hazrat Ummul Mu’mineen Fazli Amena Varsally spoke about the significance of ‘Zikrullah’.
For the benefit of our readers, we reproduce below the Text of the Special Discourse by Hazrat Saheba:

My dear daughters,

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu.

Allah says in His Pure Quran in Surah Ar-Ra’d (13: 29): 'Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Indeed, it is through the remembrance of Allah that hearts find peace.’

The Remembrance of Allah (Zikrullah) is something extraordinary and sacred. It has the power to give peace to a restless mind and soul, and give the sense of completeness to the believer.

Remembrance of Allah uplifts the rest of the acts of worship of the believer. This is so because all acts of worship are linked to Zikrullah. We don’t have an act of worship where we don’t remember Allah and praise and glorify Him!

If a believer truly believes, then he or she will strengthen his or her relationship with Allah first. When Allah is firmly established in that believer’s heart, then the other prescribed and obligatory duties as ordained by Allah through Islam becomes easy for him or her.

The beauty of Zikrullah is that there is not a fixed time to remember Allah. When a heart becomes immersed (profoundly plunged in) Allah, then each remembrance connects him or her to Allah, and whenever the believer seeks divine help or succour, or even a miracle in times of utter despair, it is verily Allah Who comes to the rescue because of the beautiful and internal communications which His servant maintains with Him.

That is why in this verse, Allah says: It is through Remembrance of Allah that hearts are assured. This reassurance proceeds from the certainty (Yaqeen) of Allah’s blessed presence and His readiness to help His believing servant. Those who have deep certainty in Allah achieve to great heights because then, there is no veil between them and Allah. Allah grants them His aid, love, security from afflictions, and if ever those afflictions touch them, they are saved therefrom by the Divine Hand.

Therefore, my advice to you all today: remain always connected to Allah. Disconnect from all negativities in your lives and connect to Allah. Allah is that Powerful Energy; the Omnipresent God Who can attract you to Him and repel all the negativities in your lives. If you are for Allah, Allah becomes for you; your devotion and love for Him will thus propel you to another level where everything is settled in your lives by none but the Powerful Will of Allah.

I wish you all a very good continuation with your Jalsa Salana, and I pray that Allah may bless each one of you and enable you to progress to Him and vice-versa, because this is the true aim of our coming to earth: to know Him and worship none but Him. Insha Allah, Ameen.

Wassalaam,

Fi-Aman-Allah
