‘Mubahila’ to Ahmadi Maulvis

Over the last many years, the Maulvis and leaders of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Qadian in the Indian State of Tamil Nadu are constantly engaged in propagating malafide accusations and running vilification campaigns against the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International. Ever since a bunch of devout Ahmadi brothers and other truth seekers in the State recognized and accepted the spiritual claims and divine mission of Hazrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius in this era, and thereby embraced and established the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in Tamil Nadu- with numerous branches of the Jamaat getting established in all parts of the State, the Maulvis and chiefs of the Nizam-e-Jamaat have been on panic mood. By maligning the fair reputation of the Holy Imam of this Jamaat and his devoted disciples in the land, the little men of the Nizam seeks to extinguish the Light of Allah in their midst.

Allah (swt) says in the Qur’an: 'O children of Adam, if there come to you messengers from among you relating to you My revelations, then whoever fears Allah and reforms - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.” (Al-A’rraf7:36). When someone takes the name of Allah (swt) to say that he comes from Allah (swt), and he brings evidence of Divine revelations and other sublime messages and signs of Divine favour in support of these lofty claims, it is the duty of all believers to ponder over the situation in humble submission to the Divine Will and embrace the extraordinary Divine blessing on the community.

According to the Qur’an, only the arrogant and the vainglorious will fail to appreciate the Divine guidance on offer when a messenger appears among the people. The Book of God indicates that the affluent and the influential elites in society, more often than not, will contemptuously disregard and even go on to discredit and attack the Divine messenger and his mission, making unfair accusations against the humble followers of a Reformer when he appears among them to correct their deviant ways.

“Never has an apostle come to them without their deriding him” (36:31)

“Even before you [Prophet], We sent messengers among the various communities of old, but they mocked every single messenger that came to them: in this way We make the message slip through the hearts of evildoers. They will not believe in it. That was what happened with the peoples of long ago, and even if We opened a gateway into Heaven for them and they rose through it, higher and higher, they would still say, ‘Our eyes are hallucinating. We are bewitched.” (15: 11-16)

Instead of pondering over the sublime ways of the Lord Almighty and His decisions that lie behind the raising of an Elect of God in a morally-darkened era among the people as a reformer and reminder of morals and manners of good conduct in true faith, these unfortunate men of the Nizam-e-Jamaat are behaving like the lost men of the past generations that the Qur’an repeatedly warns the believers against.

Ahmadis and Divine Guidance

Ahmadi Muslims claim to believe that the door to prophethood is always open till the Day of Judgement. This is based on what the Promised Massih Hadhrat Ahmad (as) clearly stated:

“I have never claimed that being Massih will terminate on me and no Massih will come in the future. On the contrary I admit and say repeatedly that not only one but more than 10,000 Maseeh can come”. (Azalah Auham, RK, vol. 3, p. 251).

“I do not deny this, that also some other "Maseel Massih" may also come in addition to me”. (Majmooa Ishteharat, vol. 1, p. 207)

“I cannot deny and I will not deny that perhaps there may be some other Massih Maoud”. (Majmooa Ishteharat, vol. 1, p. 208 )

In several other writings as well, the Promised Massih (as) clearly spelled out his understanding of the continuity of Divine Revelations and the advent of noble souls with spiritually- infused messages even in future. Such persons will confirm the veracity and truthfulness of the larger message of Islam as explained by the Promised Massih (as) in the previous era. As per his wishes, the Ahmadis established the Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya to continue the good work of propagation of Islam after the departure of the holy saint. Yet, the institution of Khilafat being operated by the elites of the Nizam-e-Jamaat today refuses to acknowledge Divine Plans for the Jamaat; it has, unfortunately for itself, chosen conflict over submission to the Divine prerogative of raising a messenger for the reform of the Ahmadis in this era.  Hence, most Ahmadis today consider, in their whims and desires without any backing from spiritual doctrine, that only the elected Khalifa of the Jamaat has the "credentials" to such lofty Divine favour as Mujaddidiyat and because of this misguided perception, they reject the Divine favour on offer from Allah (swt). Thus, for the grave "crime" of claiming to be a recipient of revelations from Allah the Most High, Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (aba) of Mauritius was expelled from the Nizam-e-Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya on 01 January, 2001.

Notwithstanding the institutional oppression by the authorities of the Nizam-e-Jamaat, two decades on, the mission and striving of Imam Azim (aba) and his spirited disciples roll on- without any regard for opposition and enmity of the earthly creatures! Despite the great “fire” of expulsion and social boycott from within the community over two decades, Allah (swt) saved and protected His Ibrahim of this era, and secured the Divine mission by helping to spread the Jamaat beyond the shores of Mauritius- the messengers’ own land, with the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam finding new roots in several communities in the most unexpected of places around the world: a living testimonial to the truth and vitality of a Divinely- ordained and Blessed spiritual order, Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.
