Charged with the offence of 'blasphemy' and facing legal proceedings for the last two years in
Pakistan, Tahir Ahmad Naseem was murdered by a fanatic youth on Wednesday, 29 July 2020. Apparently, the assassin was able to sneak inside a
Peshawar courtroom where a judge was presiding over the case, and
shoot the victim down at point blank range, to silence him forever. Media
reports testify that while the gunman Faisal Khan was immediately apprehended by the police;
the murder is being openly celebrated as a 'victory of Islam', with many
Mullahs competing among themselves to declare the murderer a 'Ghazi' - soldier of Islam-, turning a horrific murdered into
national hero!
Such is the 'Darkness at Noon' that engulfs a so called 'Islamic Republic' in our times. The State of Pakistan claims to respect Islamic values in its Constitution and the Laws. And yet, it looks away from glaring injustice and oppression that is taking place in the name of faith. With virtual impunity, religious thugs who take law into their own hands, celebrate their cult of violence and murder in the name of Allah. With close to 100 people being so murdered in the last three decades alone, today, extra-judicial killing of persons merely accused of 'blasphemy' is a near certainty in Pakistan. The assassination of Governor Salman Taseer of Punjab by his own bodyguard Mumtaz Qadri in 2011 only because the Governor opposed the application of blasphemy law on an innocent and helpless Christian woman, and the subsequent adulation Qadri received at the hands of fanatical mobs on his court trial is a grim reminder of the deeper malaise in society.
The law relating to the offence of blasphemy is being widely
misused by extremist elements to intimidate religious minorities- including Ahmadis;
to arrest and imprison individuals for their personal opinions. The privileging of ‘majoritarian’
prejudices in national discourse threatens the very space for Divinely-willed
diversity: after all, minority voices and contrarian perceptions can enrich the
discourse on truth appreciation. The deadly poison of religious/sectarian
scheming casts its long shadow over the integrity and fairness of the nation’s
governance structures. Ensuring fair trial and justice for those caught up in
the maelstrom of blasphemy allegations is virtually impossible under the
prevailing circumstances. How should we look at a Law that caters to
collective prejudices, to persecute and spread hatred against minority
communities and to target contrarian voices in the public sphere?
When blood-thirsty Mullahs openly call for spilling human blood in public meetings- all in the name of safeguarding the Faith, or to 'protect the honour of the Holy Prophet’, they create conditions for civic strife and chaos in society. These so-called religious leaders are inciting people to commit murder! Rather than following Divine ordinances on decent conduct, they are following their own Satanic whims and caprices. Most certainly, rather than setting things right, nor seeking to reform their followers; they are working corruption on land in the quest for power and pelf. They play God by seeking to define and control legitimate religiosity in the land, and they end up tampering with the social order and rule of law; denying justice and basic freedoms and rights of the people. The cult of violence and lawlessness they unleash will eventually corrode the faith from within, as well as destroy the social order in the long run. Like the Qur'an says, 'Corruption has flourished on land and sea as a result of people's actions and He will make them taste the consequences of some of their own actions so that they may turn back'. (HQ, 30: 42).
Contrary
to fanatical Mullah-ism, true Islam abhors Totalitarianism and
thought control, either by the State or the vigilantes. Islam stands for
freedom of conscience, and respect for personal choices. A society
that does not tolerate difference and diversity, nor respect freedom of
religion of individuals -including the freedom from religion-only ends up
challenging Allah’s Grand Order of Things for the world. When a nation’s
leaders exceed the bounds of equity and fairness and social balance, they ignore
common sense and the lessons of history, only to write its destiny in creeping
injustice, violation of rights, social turmoil and bloody conflicts. Just
as it is some people who create "Fasad", it
is for the good people in society to join hands with the Divine Elects among
them to work for "Islah"- reforms for a just
and humane social order that works for everyone. Indeed, the Qur'an
notes: "And were it not for God's repelling
people, some by means of others, the earth would be completely
corrupt" (2:252).
In his Eid-ul-Adha Sermon of 01 August 2020~10 Dhul-Qaddah 1441 AH, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir A. Azim (aba) of Mauritius took note of the recent murder of Tahir Ahmad Naseem in Pakistan. Against the backdrop of moral decadence and spiritual corruption all around, Imam Azim (aba) reminds that following in the glorious tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (as) and his family, and also the great companions of the Holy Prophet (sa) in the past; today it is for the sincere believers in the Divine Way to stand up for the creation of a just social order through spiritual revolution, with fervent prayers, constructive efforts and selfless sacrifices against all odds and at all costs. Hazrat Saheb (aba) exhorts, 'Arise and Create a New World'.

'.....As
you see, and bear witness, Allah’s promise is always true. A promise that Allah
has made since a long time, Allah has the power to make it come true years
later without anyone realizing it. As you know, whether it was Nasir
Ahmad Sultani, Tahir Ahmad Naseem and Abdul Ghaffar Janbah, the
three of them publicly declared to me a liar, and they proclaimed their own
truthfulness, and I even did an official Mubahila [a duel of
prayer] with one of them, that is to say, with Abdul Ghaffar
Janbah for a period of two years, where we had prayed that Allah would
exterminate the false and lying community [Jamaat] who did not enjoy any divine
favour – the one which Allah considers false [we did not pray for anyone’s
death; this was not mentioned in our official Mubahila]. And my
disciple Fazil Jamal Sahib and I both signed this Mubahila, and
Abdul Ghaffar Janbah accompanied by his disciple Mansoor Ahmed signed the Mubahila.
After
the period of two years, they had the nerve to declare Abdul
Ghaffar Janbah as the winner of this Mubahila while
during this period of Mubahila, Mansoor Ahmed Sahib’s father, in full view of
all, had abandoned Janbah officially and had gone to join the group of Nasir
Ahmad Sultani, and out of fear, before the end of the Mubahila’ s
term, they had him returned to the Jamaat of Janbah Sahib.
But
over time, Allah has shown with whom He really is. Alhamdulillah, Summa
Alhamdulillah. We have seen how Allah grew His Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam,
continued to give us His support, and opened the way for us to fulfill one
of the greatest prophecies in the history of Islam, that
is to say, that of the fulfilment of Umrah or Hajj by
the Messiah, Isa ibn Maryam, where Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) had seen the Messiah
go around (i.e. perform the Tawaf of) the Ka’aba
Shariff. Alhamdulillah, Soumma Alhamdulillah, this great
prophecy was fulfilled on February 20, 2018 when my family and I went to
accomplish the Umrah without any great difficulty. Allah
Himself made this promise and it is He Himself Who opened the way for us to go
and perform our Umrah.
So day by day Allah is showing and pouring out His Rahmat (graces) on us, and all those who challenged me or who intended to officially declare themselves as the Promised Messiah and Prophet of Allah of this century, see how they were exterminated. While we do not wish anyone any misfortune, but Allah knows best the heart and intention of each of His creatures, whether or not they are true in what they proclaim. Just as Allah says in the Qur’an, whoever lies about Him or says that he receives revelations without these actually coming from Allah, then Allah will seize him [with His punishment].
In
this context, we had seen what had happened to Asad Shah Sahib of
Scotland, where he was assassinated on March 24, 2016, while Nasir
Ahmad Sultani had been arrested by the Pakistani authority on March 21, 2017
and up to this day we do not know what the Pakistani authority did to
him.
And recently, on July 29, 2020 (this week), Tahir Ahmad Naseem who had also
treated me as a liar on his website, and in his correspondence, especially that
of June 10, 2014, he too was murdered in the Court of Pakistan in Peshawar by a
man named Khalid.
As
I told you, we don’t wish anyone misfortune. I have never personally come
forward and declare that such and such is false and that it is I alone who is
true. As long as Allah does not give me this command, I can never do this. And
also because Allah has the ability to raise more than one Mujaddid.
So, I am not allowed to comment on anyone unless Allah tells me to. The fact
that it was they who took the initiative to trample on my honour and my
truthfulness, where they crushed me to enhance their proclamations by declaring
me a liar, it was then that Allah gave me the permission to stand up and
challenge them - [besides, the Mubahila I made with
Abdul Ghaffar Janbah was not triggered because he called me a liar, but because
they treated Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), the Musleh Maoud a liar].
And when I obeyed Allah and stayed within the limits that He prescribed for me,
Allah continued to support me and strengthened His promise upon me and His
Jamaat which He granted to me to bring about the unity of Muslims and humanity
on the Tawheed.
So,
it is very sad that there are people who come forward to make such statements
which are not based on Taqwa, and then further ahead they go
towards their destruction. May Allah continue to protect the identity of my
truthfulness and inspire hearts to His truthfulness. Insha-Allah,
Ameen.
So,
I have hope in Allah (swt) that He will give us this Tawfiq so
that in practice, through our sacrifices, we can bring about a spiritual
revolution across the whole world in this century, not with the sword or bloodshed,
but with arguments and reasoning and Duahs. Without prayers, invocations and
Allah’s help, we will not be able to bring about this spiritual revolution,
because first we have to detach people from their idols and the satanic
attractions of this temporal world. Insha-Allah.
Do
not look at the faces of those fanatical Mullahs who sacrifice themselves only
for their idol/s; they do not have the blood of spirituality. So, it is not
possible that this great revolution will happen only with words. You have to
breathe this spirit of sacrifice into you, where every father has to become
like Hazrat Ibrahim (as), where every woman has to become like Hazrat Hajra
(ra) and every child has to bow and obey; have total [complete] obedience to
his father and mother like Hazrat Ishmael (as). And it is through your
sacrifices that you will all make in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International
that you will then be able to: ARISE AND CREATE A NEW WORLD, in
order to give life throughout the whole world, Insha-Allah. From everywhere a
single voice must resound and we all say together: LABBAIK,
ALLAHUMMA LABBAIK.
May Allah (swt) help each of us, and protect us from the effect of Satan and against the plots of evildoers and wicked, and may we stand firm in our belief in the Divine Manifestation. Ameen, Summa Ameen, Ya Rabbul Aalameen.
