Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam,
India was established and
officially registered with the government in the State of Kerala in the year
2010, with the Bai’at of our brother Mukarram R. Jamaluddin Raother Saheb of
Mathra (presently Amir Saheb of the South Kerala Jamaat), Dr. E. Tahir Saheb of
Kannur (presently Amir Saheb of the North Kerala Jamaat) and the other
brothers in Alappuzha.
It has been a longstanding wish of the members of the Jamaat in Kerala to meet with the Divinely-inspired and appointed Muhyi-ud-Din of this era, the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (atba) of Mauritius, ever since the time Allah (swt) blessed them with the light of faith to recognize and accept His Messenger of the era. Alhamdulillah, it is this cherished spiritual wish of the sincere believers that has come to fruition with the visit of the Khalifatullah (atba) and the blessed family members to India in January 2017. Travelling from Mauritius through Dubai, Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram airports, with the delegates from the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam- South Kerala joining them at both Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram, the larger caravan of people reached Mathra on the night of January 16, 2017, Alhamdulillah. Many members and well-wishers of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala travelled to the Mathra-based Noor’ul Islam Mosque from their respective places across the State as to stay close to Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) during the days of his stay at the Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra which function also as the headquarters of the Jamaat in Kerala. During the days of their stay at Mathra, i.e., January 16-21, 2017, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) and the visiting team as well as the members of the Jamaat have had a series of programmes. As noted earlier, these programmes revolved around collective prayers, special sermons, Mulaqat and Bai’at Programs, bonding over food and local sight visit, recitation of poems and Qasida, etc. For accessing a fuller report on the main programmes and activities, click here. There was also a public meeting, involving the members of the local community in an Inter-Faith Conference on “Spirituality, Peace and Social Harmony”, a programme in which Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) spoke profoundly on the contribution of Islamic teachings and ethics in the promotion of inner peace and maintaining social harmony. The visit of Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) also
provided an opportunity for all members of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to renew
their faith and to review the Jamaat’s organizational processes for effective
functioning of the various branches. It is apparent that the recent visit of the
Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Hadhrat
Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (atba) of Mauritius and the blessed members of the
household infused a new dynamism to the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in Kerala. As
such, in retrospect, the two-week visit of India in the second half of January
2017 could not have been more timely and appropriate, Alhamdulillah.
At the Majlis Aamila that met in the presence of
Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) on Thursday, January 19, 2017, decisions were made
to strengthen the institutional dimension of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala.
New office bearers were appointed. Among those who took charge of different
functional responsibilities, the following are included: Amir- R. Jamaludin Saheb of Mathra; Naib Amir- YK Hariz Saheb, Alappuzha; Naib Amir- Sadiq Ali Saheb, Kaliyikkavila; Finance Secretary- K. Saleem Saheb, Alappuzha; Tabligh Secretary- Sulfikar Ali Saheb, Kaliyikkavila; Secretary- Mosque Affairs- DA Zainul Abdeen Saheb, Mathra.
On the evening of Thursday, January 19, 2017 there was
also the incident of children being taken away from the Jamaat premises by the
Ahmadi ‘relatives’. The kids, Amtul Wakil ( 9) and her younger brother Adeel Ahmad (4), belongs to our brother
Sulfikar Ali Saheb. Sulfikar Ali Saheb brought his kids to the Mosque to meet
with Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) and family; and the children were very happy,
mingling with everyone. Maulvi Ansar Mahdi of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya, the uncle
of the kids (brother-in law of Sulfikar Ali Saheb), he came near the Mosque and
stealthily took away the kids from the Mosque, even as their belongings were
still in the Mosque. Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) counselled everyone to
observe utmost restraint and warned that those behind the episode will face
regret and remorse for their deeds in future.
In the Friday Sermon of January 20, 2017 apart from
delivering the prepared sermon, Huzur (atba) also made additional comments on
the Khilafat Doctrine and practice among the Ahmadis, which they have
perpetuated for themselves even against the guidance and limits prescribed by
the Promised Massih (as). All teachings of the past have been trampled to dust
under the feet of the so called ‘mainstream’ Ahmadis today and the moral
bankruptcy of contemporary Mullahs within the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya was evidenced
even in the incident relating to the kid-napping of children at Mathra.
On the morning of Saturday, January 21, 2017 Hadhrat
Khalifatullah (atba) and family members travelled to Kollam from Mathra. Before their departure from Mathra, photos were taken on the occasion, including with the whole family of the Amir Saheb. Mukarram R. Jamaluddin
Saheb, K. Saleem Saheb, DA Zainul Abdeen Saheb, Sulfikar Ali Saheb, Fazil Jamal Saheb and family
accompanied the Team in its journey to Alappuzha. From Kollam, the whole team started their Boat Journey to
Alappuzha. The boat journey through the Inland Waters of Kerala is widely
considered to be one of the finest travel experiences anywhere in the world.
Reaching Alappuzha in the evening, Hadhrat Khalifatullah
(atba) and the Team visited our brother YK Harris Saheb and his wife Raziya Harris
Saheba at their home and they had their dinner there, before returning back to the Hotel for the night stay.
Early morning of Sunday,
January 22, 2017,Hazrat Khalifatullah (atba) and the Team renewed their journey to Kannur by Train from the Alappuzha Railway station, even as our brothers, R. Jamaluddin Saheb, DA Zainul Abdeen and K. Saleem Saheb bid adieu to them at the station. The Train journey to Kannur was a nice experience for the whole group. During the journey, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) gave one of our brothers access to a very important Book: a Book full of Divine revelations vouchsafed to the Hadhrat Saheb (atba) over the last decade and more, written down by designated scribes who signed the document with precise dates of the Divine revelations. The latter was able to hold the Book and read the contents thereof and our humble brother also learnt that there are many other Books in existence in the archives of the Jamaat that also record the abundance of Divine communications vouchsafed to Hadhrat Saheb (atba) over the last decade, Alhamdulillah, Soumma Alhamdulillah.
Hadhrat Saheb's arresting spiritual visage and charismatic persona, flowing beard and turban dress attracted much attention on the train journey to Kannur, with many persons, fellow passengers, turning their heads to have a view of the Muslim holy personage and even coming near to strike a conversation as they intrinsically understood that the travelling saint has an extraordinary aura around him. One of the persons who came from the other end of the same compartment was a leading Sunni Maulvi of Kerala. He also brought along his young children to meet with Hadhrat Saheb (atba) and invited Hadhrat Saheb (atba) to visit his institutions during the next tour, Insha Allah, Aameen.
At Kannur Railway Station when the Train reached after 2.30 pm, our respected senior brother, Dr. E. Tahir Saheb (Amir, North Kerala Jamaat) and his son Siraj Tahir Saheb along with other well wishers of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam was awaiting the arrival of Hadhrat Saheb (atba). Later, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) met with the family members of Dr. Tahir Saheb and some of our visiting members, Hamsa Saheb, Sharief Saheb, Shamsuddin Saheb of Kodungalloor, etc. In a short speech at Kannur, Hadhrat Saheb (atba) advised those who were present to give priority to faith above material concerns and to revive the institutional processes of the Jamaat in the north as well. Responsibilities were assigned to different brothers to discharge in the coming years so as to have a cohesive and thriving Jamaat system under the leadership of our senior brother, Amir Dr. Tahir Saheb and Hamza Saheb assumes charge as the General Secretary of the North Jamaat.
Dr. Tahir Saheb gifted Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) some of the Books he authored on Para-psychology and also on the concept of Tawheed in Islam. Hadhrat Saheb (atba) and the Team later resumed their journey to the north of India from Kannur in the evening, thereby completing the Kerala segment of the all-India Tour, Alhamdulillah, Soumma Alhamdulillah.
