'Musleh Maoud' Day 2022

A majestic Sign of special nearness, communion and holy communications between Allah (swt) and his devoted servant, the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian (1835-1908); Prophecy Musleh Maoud, although revealed 136 years ago, continues to resonate among the believers in the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya.

Far beyond its historical relevance in the early days of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya and its partial fulfillment through the dreams vouchsafed to the great, second caliph of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad (ra) in 1944, the Prophecy has gained much contemporary spiritual attention due to certain prescient observations left behind by the second Caliph while claiming to be the 'Musleh Maoud' (Promised Reformer) in the previous era, especially with the advent of the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius in the last two decades in the person of Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba).

Indeed, against the backdrop of the second Caliph's own prophecies and statements vis-a-vis the fulfillment of prophecy Musleh Maoud, based on the supreme authority of Divine revelations, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) has clearly and consistently acknowledged before the global spiritual community that he is 'Musleh Maoud' in this era, as of 20 February 2004.

Alhamdulillah, this week the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International commemorated the Musleh Maoud Day in India and elsewhere with much spiritual fervour and in Thanksgiving to Allah (swt). Special Jamaat meetings took place both in Tamil Nadu and in Kerala, at the historic Mosques of the Jamaat- the Siraj-um-Munir Masjid, VK Puram, and at the Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra, Summa Alhamdulillah

Jamaluddin Raother Saheb delivered a special lecture on the theme, ‘Musleh Maoud: Life and Influence’. The meeting ended with collective Duah, Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.

In the evening of 20 February 2022, the Kerala Jamaat at the Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra organized a special programme on the Prophecy Musleh Maoud and Its Legacy in the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya. At the commencement of the meeting, Zachariah Ibn Zain recited the Holy Qur’an, along with the translation of the portion he recited from the final verses of Surah Al Baqarah. Janab Sadiq Ali Saheb provided a welcome speech to all those who came to attend the Programme. Zaki Mubarak Aziz Raother recited a Nazm on the occasion.

In his inaugural speech, Mukarram Amir Jamaluddin Saheb spoke comprehensively on the life and legacy of Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Din Mahmud Ahmad (1889-1965), the second caliph of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya, who came to attain the fulfillment of a grand prophecy and became a Divine sign with his own heroic life and devoted works. The Amir Saheb underscored the need for everyone to think of their own life-deeds when we still have time so as to have the satisfaction of leading a purposeful and meaningful life in obedience to the commandments and expectations of Allah (swt), in service of fellow humans, in furtherance of the Divine mission of the Khalifatullah (aba) amongst us, Insha Allah, Aameen.

Fazil Jamal Saheb also spoke on the occasion, explaining the prophecy Musleh Maoud in its historic and contemporary setting, and the diverging interpretations among Ahmadi groups about its biological and spiritual fulfillments. He pointed to three facts to the attention of everyone:

(1) While claiming to be the fulfillment of the prophecy Musleh Maoud in 1944; the second Caliph (ra) himself indicated the advent of other spiritual sons of the Promised Messiah (as) in future, in greater fulfillment of the grand prophecy;

(2) Allah (swt) Himself raised Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius in this era with the spiritual title of “Musleh Maoud” on 20 February 2004;

(3) About 10 years ago, the Musleh Maoud of this era Hazrat Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius, challenged those who were creating mischief among people by deliberately seeking to humiliate the honour and true reputation of the historical Musleh Maoud and later, went on to engage in a Mubahila War against the enemies of Hazrat Musleh Maoud (ra) of the previous era. The subsequent progress of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International itself is a testimonial to the true help and succor to the Divine Truths in this era, Alhamdulillah.

Muhammad Sabir Saheb recited the Nazm ‘Hamaare Duah Sun…’ on the occasion. Muhammad Sabir Saheb, Abdul Sudheer Saheb and Sulfikar Ali Saheb also spoke on the occasion. General Secretary DA Zainul Abdeen Saheb offered a vote of thanks to everyone who attended the special meeting, before it got to a close with the collective Duah, Summa Alhamdulillah.
