My
dear daughters,
Assalamu
‘alaykum Wa rahmatullah Wa barakatuhu.
It
is a really great pleasure for me today to address you some few words
face to face today in your beautiful country, Kerala. I have chosen
to address you today on a few precious guidelines which the
Muhyi’uddin Khalifatullah had delivered to us women in the
beginning of the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius. Like you know,
the Khalifatullah (atba) has come also as a defender of the rights of
the womenfolk, like our beloved master and prophet Hazrat Muhammad
(pbuh).
It
is a fact that women have been held in high esteem from ancient times
by ordinary citizens as well as kings. However, in later years, there
was a decline in their status and even ascetics denied proper
recognition to them. With the passing of time, much after the eras of
divine manifestations, women lose their rights and are considered as
inferior to men. Because of the evil influence of modern education,
people nowadays consider women as toys and tend to treat them as
puppets. Women have great and noble qualities, but many men still
consider them as cooks to be confined to the kitchen and the four
walls of the house. What they forget is that women not only manage
the affairs of the family but also look after the health and
well-being of all the members of the household.
When
our Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was raised to the status of prophet
and messenger by Allah, the situation of the women in Arabia and the
world at large was deplorable. Whilst the rich women enjoyed certain
rights, the rest of the women were denied those very rights and much
more than that. But when Islam came, it acted and continue to act
till this day and up till the Day of Judgement as the ultimate
saviour of humankind, including women.
The
role of women in society and in their homes are various, but added to
all these, we, the women of the Divine Manifestation of this era, we
need to contribute more to the cause of Allah.
The
women of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, i.e. the Siraj Makin should
always participate in large numbers in the practice of Service to
Humanity. We need to invite all women of the different religions to
join us to serve humanity. If such activities are taken up all over
the country, your motherland (India) will prosper. This sacred work
is typical of our ancient culture, the true culture which the
prophets of Allah since the dawn of time have instituted for us all,
men and women. Women are the heirs of our ancient culture, Culture
means refinement. Women are indeed by the grace of Allah the
torch-bearers of refinement and we are all toiling for the
emancipation of our respective nation/ country. Generally, women are
the ones who live up to the high ideals of truth and righteousness;
however, nowadays, we are not encouraged to show our ability as many
among us women have to face various obstacles along the way.
If
women are given due recognition and encouragement, they will shine
with brilliance in all fields and will serve their home, country and
the whole world devoutly contributing to the welfare of the entire
humanity. If men also follows the example of the women and imbibe in
them the sacred and sacrificial qualities which the womenfolk
possess, then the world will definitely improve.
It
is stated nowhere in any sacred text that women should only cook and
not do work like men. As a matter of fact even man has to learn
cooking and house-keeping to help his wife by sharing all the
household chores. A brilliant example is found in our role model, our
beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) who used to help all his wives
in their daily chores. Note that all his wives were housewives. It
was not a dishonour for him to do so. On the contrary, by helping his
wives and taking good care of them, he has set the ultimate perfect
example of respect for the womankind.
Women
are the exemplars and leaders for men to tread the spiritual path;
pure selfless love is inborn in women, such women who are full of
knowledge, who are cultured, who are bound by love and who are keen
on discriminating whether their words and actions are in conformity
with righteousness. They bring joy and good fortune to the home, and
society at large.
So,
my dear daughters, in this new era, the Golden Age, where Allah is
manifesting Himself, by sending rain of revelations through His
beloved Messenger and Khalifatullah, and guiding the pure-hearted
men, women and children to come forward to help the cause of Allah,
to restore the Sahih al Islam, Islam in its authenticity, by removing
the bad innovations (bidat)
and wrong cultures from other religions, don’t you think that Allah
has chosen us the Siraj Makin to contribute in such noble work? You
shall keep facing lots of troubles from your own blood relations, the
Jamaat you left and all your dear ones. They think you are a thorn in
their feet but you need to prove my dear ones that you are in fact
the antibiotics to cure the diseases which have developed in their
hearts.
The
Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, established through divine instructions
have also made provision for the rightful place for women in the
spiritual field. The Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam thus established the
Siraj Makin with a view to create a sense of responsibility in its
members. In this era, it is us the Siraj Makin of the Jamaat Ul Sahih
Al Islam who have the golden task to take care of Islam, and to
assure a better generation of Muslims for tomorrow. The rights
granted to the woman by Islam and her whole life are to be spent for
her betterment, be it physical, moral and spiritual, in every sphere
of life. It is the absolute conviction of the Khalifatullah and this
humble servant of Allah also that reformation of women could be
effected through women alone.
The
object of setting up the body of the Siraj Makin was to organise the
womenfolk of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in such a way that they may
understand their rights and duties as true Muslims. It aimed at
raising them morally and spiritually and making them (us all) realise
their responsibilities for the education and upbringing of their
children and preparing them for working selflessly and resolutely for
the resurgence of Islam. In short, it was to be an organisation with
an all-round development of Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam women as its
goal.
Therefore,
my dear daughters of Mathra, Karunagapally, and from all the
surrounding villagers gathered here today, please do not remain slack
or lagging behind. Each of you should come forward with your Sadr
Saheba here or Naib Sadr Saheba in your Zone to seek for a Deen work,
be it translation of the Al-Azim Tafsir-ul-Quran, Khutbas of Huzur,
the Khalifatullah of this era, typing or anything that suits you, you
do the work without fear and grief. Allah will be your Lecturer. The
world needs us now.
Don’t
think that you are useless! And don’t think we are a small number.
Remember, in the times of the Holy Prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad
(pbuh), during the Battle of Badr, only 313 physically weak believers
fought with thousands of physically strong disbelievers, but Allah
was with the small army of Muslims!
So,
great tasks awaits us in this era, as well as all times to come, for
it is for us to help and guide the men of the Divine Manifestation
also, and together, we can bring forward the needed change which
shall help Islam progress further in this country and in all
countries of the world, such Islam which is not in name only, but
which we Muslims need to cultivate in our lives, making Islam the
real purpose of our lives, ever submissive to the will of Allah.
Insha-Allah.
