Prophecy on Disasters in Mauritius

ISLAM theorises that the clear knowledge of the unseen is only given to His chosen Messengers. The Holy Qur’an confirms: “He is the Knower of the unseen, and He does not grant anyone ascendency over His domain of the unseen, Except him whom He chooses as His Messenger. And in front of him and at the back of him march angels as sentinels.”  [Surah Al-Jinn, 72: 27-28]. Thus, Allah the Almighty raises His Chosen Messenger in every era to warn the people about their excesses, shake their conscience about their irresponsible behaviours and greed and to take precaution against terrible events waiting to unfold as a consequence of what their hands have earned. The Holy Qur’an testifies: “We never punish until We have sent a Messenger” [Surah Bani Isra’il, 17:16].

When the All Powerful, Almighty, Allah raises His Divine Messenger, heaven and the earth will bear witness to the truth of the Messenger. His veracity and truthfulness will be established through powerful signs. Consequentially, heavenly signs may appear, illuminating the whole sky in a flash, or the earth may tremble so powerfully as to turn everything over it upside down! In this age of climate change, people have neglected the ecological insights of the Holy Qur’an. The theology of ecology that Islam teaches has been completely ignored by the ‘Muslims’ themselves. The abuse and mistreatment of the environment is beginning to catch up with us, everywhere in the world. The effects of human greed, environmental degradation and irresponsible exploitation of natural resources overwhelm communities with death and devastation on a colossal scale.

On 30 December 2012, the Khalifatullah Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib made some predictions for the year 2013 during the reading of the second part of his Appraisal of Events 2012. It is to be recorded that the following has been fulfilled:

NATIONAL (Mauritius):

Climate and Natural Disasters: According to my observation by Allah’s Grace the weather in Mauritius will not be stable – intense heat – definitely in the month of January 2013 cyclones will be in force here but one among them will be violent. Mauritians should take many precautions in all fields – Heavy rainfall which may cause floods in certain regions of the country and even landslides in mountainous and cliffs regions.

Despite the heavy rain, but rain water obtained shall not be sufficient (system to preserve the rain water not operational), thus there shall be periods of drought also. There shall be much problem in agriculture – Domestic animals will be affected with diseases. Winter season will be colder this year and summer will be hotter.

Fulfilment of Prediction: From Tuesday 12 February to 13 February 2013, there has been an overall torrential rainfall over the whole island. In some specific parts of the island, there were even landslides. Muddy water was seen in some major parts of the Capital of Mauritius, Port-Louis, as well in the southern and northern parts of the island. The Central Plateau also was not spared. It is worthy to note that in the particular area where the respected Khalifatullah Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim (atba) lives, there has not been any flood or water problem. There was only an hour or so of rainfall, causing no disaster.

The torrential rainfall prompted the Minister of Education to close all schools and pupils were returned back to their homes. Offices also were closed, though not all of them (especially in the private sector). A newly built bridge which cost approximately 200 millions rupees was destroyed, and a house was left hanging in a height due to landslide. At least 500 homes needed to have water removed from their homes, out of which approximately 200 were serious cases, whereby the inhabitants lost everything due to the accumulation of water in their homes, and with the pressure of the water, all their belongings were taken away. The current was so forceful that the inhabitants had to even secure their vehicles with solid ropes lest they are taken by the flow of water.

Due to this situation, nearly all crops were destroyed by the flow of water, and thus this triggered a rising in the price of fruits and vegetables and other food items, as well as the “eruption” of the E. Coli Virus.

On 17 February 2013, there was such a heavy rainfall again which struck Mauritius causing nearly the same extent of problem as from 12 to 13 February 2013. And in the area where the Khalifatullah (atba) lives, there was only a brief rainfall (the area was safe from disasters – not from those torrential rainfall).

Fulfilment of Prediction: (30 March 2013)

“Never-Seen Before” Deadly Rainfall in Mauritius on Saturday 30 March 2013, started at 1:00 pm, on the eve of “Easter”. A DELUGE gripped Mauritius for just THREE hours; just 3 hours of DELUGE gripped the Capital of the country, Port-Louis, and the region of Pailles (Camp Chapelon etc.) and  Plaines Wilhems, paralyzing public transportation, causing traffic chaos. The worst of cyclones which Mauritius witnessed in the past NEVER PRODUCED SUCH HIGH LEVEL OF WATER, and catastrophic situations on roads, flooding roads, overturning cars and stranding thousands of motorists, producing car accidents, flooding buildings, businesses, homes, causing death of people with many people missing  and such catastrophe causing major landslides – The economy is in a wreck!

About 30 vehicles were involved in a multiple-vehicle pileup near Hindu House, Port Louis. Some of the vehicles (new and old) were completely damaged. Several roads have been closed. 150 mm rainfall was recorded in Port Louis in an interval of three hours. Up till late night on Sunday 31 March 2013, eleven people are reported dead from the flood.  The first victims were a mother and son (of Christian Faith) who owned a shop in the under path (subway) of the Caudan Waterfront. They were drowned, trapped in the shop. The Caudan subway alone (officially) made in all 6 victims.
