Safeedah Varsallee (1931-2021)

“Every soul is certain to taste death: We test you all through the bad and the good, and to Us you will all return”- (21: 36).

Earlier this week, explaining Divine revelations that were vouchsafed to him on human mortality and our journey to Allah from this world, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Al Muslemeen Munir A. Azim (aba) of Mauritius noted in a special message to the Jamaat :

'Allah (twt) has not granted life on this planet, on this earth without death to any human...no human being is immune from decay or death- not even the Holy Prophet (sa). Eternity and everlastingness are of God's own exclusive attributes....

(In death), the soul does not die but when it separates from the body, at the death of the body, the soul gets a taste of death in our life of probation on this earth...Our virtue and Faith are tested by many things. Some are tested by calamities and some by the good things of this life. If we prove our truth, we pass our probation with success. In any case, all must return to Allah (twt) and then will our life be apprised at its true value.'

Sayyidat-un-Nisa Hazrat Ummul Mu’mineen Fazli Amena’s beloved mother, Mrs. Safeedah Varsallee, passed away,  at the age of 90 years, on Monday, 18 October 2021. Inna Lillahi Wa Innaaa Ilayhi Raajiunn. Surely to Allah we belong and to him shall we return.

In a message of consolation, solidarity and Duah on the difficult and sorrowful moment for the dear ones in the family of the departed soul and especially to the daughter Hazrat Ummul Mu'mineen Fazli Amena, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) reflected on the true nature and purpose of life in this world, and the journey to Allah that awaits every soul living:

‘Allah (swt) is the Master of all we possess, including our own selves. If the Owner in His infinite wisdom deems fit to take away anything from us, we have no ground for complaint or demur. So every misfortune that befalls us should, instead of depressing us, spur us to make yet greater efforts to achieve still better results in life.

So be patient, and to be firm and patient in pain or in this difficult moment, all periods of panic my Disciple, True Sahih Al Islam (it is these who have proved truthful and it is these who are truly God-fearing.

As the Khalifatullah of this Era- my advice to you and to all my disciple who pass in a very difficult trial, try to understand that we live and die and leave behind some traces of our name. Some people talk of good we do, some drag us for a blame. We can't admire the friendly talk; we can't reply the foes. They ought to think of time ahead: who won't be there? Who knows you do not like those ugly things? The living should talk of you when you are leaving. You take a note of what you do and what you shouldn't do.

Our life is a leaf on a mighty tree with a little of breeze. It shakes when all alone. It's mute and dumb with others; some noise it makes though far away from roots and trunk. When roots and trunk supply it not, it pales and withers and falls so light it is, it roams about like a tiny woollen ball.

Yet your mother Safeedah, her colossal work in the mundane and spiritual field is a source of constant inspiration to all her children who wish to tread upon her path of bliss and salvation. Roses fan their fragrance wherever they are. They refresh the atmosphere itself. I pray may her soul rest in peace. Ameen.’

May Allah grant the departed soul a place of honour in the Jannatul Firdauz, and grant her His Infinite Mercy, Aameen. May Allah grant all family patience and serenity in these bereavement times, Aameen.
