'Muhyi-ud-Din': 15 Years of the Proclamation

In his Friday Sermon of 07 December 2018 (28 Rabi’ul Awwal 1440 AH) delivered at the historic Noor'ul Islam Masjid, Mathra (Kerala–India); Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hadhrat Muhyi-ud-Din Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (atba) of Mauritius made profound reflections on the recognition of Divine messages by the believers and the challenge of holding fast to the rope of Faith against the backdrop of the tricks of Satan which seeks to deviate man from his path of obedience to God and His commandments.

Allah (swt) guides hearts that desire guidance to His signs leading to an appreciation of the ultimate Truth. Yet, after the acquisition of Faith; preserving the acquired faith and striving in the path of God with sincerity and steadfastness at all phases of one's fortunes and life chances can be a formidable challenge. As it happened, people stumble and may even lose their precious spiritual convictions when things go against their material whims and mundane desires. So every believer need to be critically aware of his own subjectivity and the trappings of Satan in order to subdue the dictates of one's own 'self'/ego and be ready to appreciate the big picture of Islam, i.e., the willingness to abide by the Holy Will of Allah (swt) as evident from the commandments of the Qur'an and Prophetic traditions and subjecting one's own choices and decisions to the prudent advices of the Khalifatullah of the era who speaks with the help of Roohul Qudus.

Reflecting on the 15 years of the present Divine Manifestation- with Allah (swt) raising His humble servant Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (atba) of Mauritius to make the Divinely-inspired Declaration of 06-07 December 2003 as the Muhyi-ud-Din and Messiah of this era; Hadhrat Saheb (atba) points out the extraordinary Divine favour that has been bestowed currently upon the brothers in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and elsewhere in the country and beyond, with Allah (swt) raising them as the helpers of the Divine Manifestation in this era, overlooking the claims of an earlier people who did not preserve their beliefs and this episode itself holds a vital lesson for all believers everywhere at all times: of the critical importance of being spiritually aware and thereby preserving their faith against the machinations of Satanic impulses corrupting it.

The Unity of Muslims

And hold fast, all together, to the rope of Allah and be not become divided (i.e. be united or do not go separate ways); and remember the favour of Allah upon you when you were enemies and He united your hearts so that by His bounty you became brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire and He saved you from it; thus does Allah make clear His revelations (or verses) that you may be (rightly) guided. (Al-Imran, 3: 104).

By the immense grace of Allah, with the institution of the Jamaat Ahmadiyya Al Mouslemeen and then the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam since the beginning of the Divine Manifestation in the year 2001, Allah has shown clearly His might and the power of His promises when He guided the hearts of many people towards the truthfulness of His signs, power, manifestations and Khalifatullah (i.e. Caliph of Allah). By the grace of Allah, lots of you here in India; in Kerala, and Tamil Nadu have been guided to the truth and many of you have received clear signs from Allah about the truthfulness of His Khalifatullah and the Divine Manifestation of this era. Masha-Allah.

With the establishment of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Allah – All Glory and Praise be for Him – has caused a great spiritual revolution here in India and in many parts of the world. And you shall see my dear ones how He shall manifest more and more signs and greatness of His power in support of the truth, in support of His Khalifatullah.

Indeed, Allah says in the Holy Quran: O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion, Allah will bring forth a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He wills. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.” (Al-Ma'ida, 5: 55).

And in many ways this revelation is a warning for believers, like it was for the first believers at the beginning of the Divine Manifestation in Mauritius, that you should ever be careful and strive to preserve your faith and Islam, and especially in this era, your faith in the Chosen Messenger of Allah, the Khalifatullah. And you should always remain true to your oaths of allegiance (Bai’at) which you took on the Hands of Allah and His Khalifatullah. This is indeed very important.

And you should always be like a united body of Muslims, come what may. Divided, we shall not achieve anything, but united, as a true body of Islam, we shall march towards victory with the blessings of Allah and His great miracles.

15 Years of the Divinely-inspired Declaration

Today commemorates a special day in the annals of the Divine Manifestation of this age when I proclaimed myself under the instructions of Allah officially as the Muhyi-ud-Din of this era. But what only few people knew, the dates 06 and 07 December 2003 marked also my proclamation as the Messiah of this era, still under the instructions and revelations of Allah to reassure the first believers of the Divine Manifestation of the age. Allah planned it that way, and this remained private and confidential until Allah gave me the instructions in the year 2010, on a Friday the 10th September 2010, on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr to proclaim myself officially as the Promised Messiah (Massih Ma’ud) of this era, and also as the Mujaddid of the 15th Century of the Hijra. Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah. Indeed the ways of Allah are indeed extraordinary.

And now, you, my dear ones in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, you have taken the place of the forerunners, and you have become yourselves the forerunners of the Divine Manifestation of this era, of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam. And now, you also should take extra care in preserving your faith and not let the thread, the rope of Islam slip away from your hands.

Today, you are those who are in a position of honour in the eyes of Allah when you have recognized the Muhyi-ud-Din, Khalifatullah, Messenger and Messiah of your era. Insha-Allah, it is my humble prayer to Allah that through the thick and thin (i.e. the difficulties and ease) of life, you never forget your pact with Allah and His Khalifatullah. Never forget my dear ones this very important contract which you, as believers of Islam, Sahih al Islam have taken with Allah and His Messenger of this era. Obey Allah and His Khalifatullah and you shall have felicity in this life and in the life to come. Insha-Allah.

Never think that due to your adherence (appurtenance) to the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam and your bond with the Khalifatullah of the age that you shall never again go through problems, trials, and persecutions. Indeed, you shall pass through it all, because Allah will test your faith, will test your mettle (i.e. your capacity and ability to stand up for your faith). Allah will separate the clean from the unclean like He has always done since the creation of man.

My dear disciples, dear servants of Allah, be upright in your faith and the religion of Islam. Be true helpers of Allah and helpers of one another. Never let go of the hand of your brothers and sisters in need. The one whose heart is filled with mercy is indeed the one who is closest to Allah, who help others for the sake of Allah.

Never seek the glories of this world. These glories are only very short, temporary. Seek on the contrary, the glories of the eternal life wherein your souls shall abide one day, Insha-Allah. Do good, think good and see good everywhere and try to correct your brothers and sisters in the best way without causing harm to his integrity as a Muslim. Nobody is perfect and thus, if each one of you reflects on this, then he shall realise that he should forgive others like He would like Allah to forgive him.

Be generous to your brothers and sisters in Islam. Don’t think that when you spend money in the cause of Allah, that you shall become poor or poorer than you were before. Never think that. Those who spend their wealth with the hope of the mercy and love of Allah, Allah shall cause their wealth to double and treble and even be in greater amount than they would have imagined. When someone sacrifices from his wealth for Allah, this sacrifice is never in vain. If only he knew the treasures which Allah has reserved for him, be it in this life, and much more than that in the hereafter, he would have sacrificed everything for the sake of Allah. But Allah does not ask you to sacrifice everything. He only asks you to spend a little in His way so as to promote His religion (i.e. Islam) and to guide the people of the world to Him alone, to Tawhid (the Oneness of God).

So, my dear ones, you are the most fortunate ones in this era of the Divine Manifestation and Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam. Keep up your good works for His cause, and whenever there is disagreement which may crop up among you due to the tricks of the Satan, the accursed one, you should remedy the situation and reunite with your brothers in faith and make the religion of Islam, firmer and stronger than before. In this lies the future glory of Islam, in it lies your salvation my dear ones.

Be those kinds of people whom Allah defines as: “people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers, fighting in the Way of Allah, and never afraid of the blame of the blamers.”

May Allah enable you all to do so with great fear and love for Him Who is your Creator and Knower of each and every heart. Insha-Allah, Ameen.
