The Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, Kerala
(India) is organizing a Three-Day spiritual Retreat at the historic Noor’ul
Islam Masjid at Mathra on the occasion of the blessed Eid-ul-Adha in early October 2014, (Dhul Hajj
9-11, Hijrah 1435), Insha Allah.
Recently, permission has been accorded by the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius to
our brother, Mukarram Amir Jamaluddin Sahib of the southern region in Kerala,
to organize such a Jamaat Programme, inviting all brothers, well-wishers and
the other truth-seekers, currently spread across the nook and corners of the
Indian province.
For the Kerala branch of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in India, if
one may recall, the month of October 2014 also marks its Fourth anniversary. It
was way back in October 2010 that the first Bai’at from India- of Janab Jamaluddin Sahib of Mathra-
took place at the hands of Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) and also the subsequent
formation of the Kerala Jamaat at Alappuzha, with the Bai’at of
several other pioneers of the Jamaat Ul
Sahih Al Islam in Kerala. It is also instructive to note that during the early days of the
Kerala Jamaat, Hadhrat Khalifatullah (atba) received the following revelation
from Allah:
"Tell them O My
Messiah: 'The richness of faith is found in a pure heart, true dedication to
the cause of Allah and obedience to you as My representative and beloved
Messenger of this era.' Allah is pleased that such endeavours have been made by
your disciples in Kerala to recognise you as My Messenger and the message
brought by you to the world. Your humble prayers have been graced with divine
attention. The Hands of Allah was over their hands, reaffirming their belief in
you. Tell them: 'Never let go of the rope of Allah, never turn your backs to
the signs you received and the oath of allegiance you took, for then neither
Allah nor the angels nor any living human or any creature can ever help you
against Allah.' Approval has come from your Lord, thus, make them close to you,
as brethren of the same mother and advise them so that they may achieved
spiritual insight and come closest to Allah. The Mighty and Wise is ever
Watching. All Glory be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds." --- (Received late at
night on Friday 08 October 2010)
One of the basic postulates of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam is that even after finding and accepting the true faith, a believer has to constantly struggle against his/her fallible and malleable consciousness, to protect oneself from falling into error and deviance and to remain in the right path. As weak humans, capable of exercising ‘free’ will, one has to be critically-aware of the trappings of the Nafs and also be ready to, withstand the lure of the satans, as we tread through the difficult spiritual journey in this mundane life. And to attain the higher stages of spiritual progress, believers have to be permanently on the road of Jihad Al Akbar- the purification of one’s heart or the oft-blaming consciousness in each one of us.
Beyond conventional declarations of religious
identity as “Muslims”, or even as members of the Ahmadiyya Firqah, true believers transform themselves into dynamic,
critically self-aware individuals, capable of deep introspection and
soul-searching, so as to penetrate the elusive path of Hidayat and Maa’rifat of
Allah. In recent sermons, Hadhrat Sahib (atba) has put much emphasis on the
need for evolving, preserving and sustaining the sublime identity of a true
spiritual seeker among all his disciples and followers in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam. For, it is
when the believers become capable of treading in the sublime path of the Almighty
that the Divine Mission of a “Muhyi-ud-Din”/“Mujaddid”
(Reviver of Faith) or a “Khalifatullah”
(Vicegerent of Allah) redeems itself in the ebb and flow of spiritual history.
To say 'Labbaik' to the profound expectations and gentle advice of our
Imam (atba) to remain engaged and connected with one another in a spirit of
goodwill, brotherhood, unity and shared well-being, brothers in the South
Kerala region feel that all fellow-travellers in this spiritual journey in the
State could meet together and by sharing such quality time together, we may have uncommon opportunities for taking stock of our individual Dawah and collective Tabligh activities and to reflect upon how to progress forward in pursuit of spreading the larger message of Islam in these trying times. Perhaps one of the earliest opportunities for such a get together is the
upcoming Eid-ul-Adha, which is to be observed and
celebrated in Kerala on Sunday, October 5th, 2014.
Accordingly,
the Amir Sahib and Jamaat members in Mathra, invite all our brothers from
other places and regions to the Noor’ul Islam
Masjid, Mathra. All members of the Jamaat are
welcome to be present and join us for the Eid
Retreat at Mathra. Brothers
are especially encouraged to come and stay with us for at least three days-
4th, 5th and 6th of October 2014- at the Noor’ul Islam Masjid so that the get-together
serves as an opportunity to consolidate and unite all hearts as one, Insha-Allah.
Brothers who receive the message are
requested to share the same with others who do not, and also, if possible, to
reach out to those who have estranged themselves from us. All truth-seekers, including Ahmadis and other Muslim brothers, who
wish to learn about the Jamaat Ul Sahih
Al Islam are strongly encouraged to travel, and are most welcome, to
Mathra, Insha-Allah.
