2013- Jalsa Salana in Kerala: A Report

Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Kerala observed its second Jalsa Salana at the historic Noorul Islam Masjid, Mathra, 22-23 December 2013. Brothers from Palakkad, Alappuzha and Kaliyikkavila, and also from Delhi, reached ahead of the scheduled formal commencement of the two-day programme.   Registration proceedings ended at 11.00 AM on December 22nd, and the Inaugural Session started with the Recitation of the Qur’an (Tilawat-ul Qur’an) by DA Zainul Abdeen Sahib. K. Salim Sahib offered a formal welcome note to everyone present on the occasion.

Fazil Jamal Sahib chaired the Inaugural Session. He observed that the Promised Massih (as) in the previous era and the Khalifatullah (atba) in our times, have attached  much imporatnce to the Jalsa Salana as an occassion to come, stay and pray together in an atmosphere of brotherly affection and friendly discussion about various spiritual matters and religious questions. Strengthening our faith and beliefs in solidarity with like-minded people becomes possible through our active and informed participation in the Jalsa proceedings, he noted.

Mukarram Amir Jamaluddin Sahib inaugurated the Jalsa Salana programme. In his speech, the Amir Sahib pointed to the trials of faith that are around us, in each moment of our lives. Drawing on Qur’anic verses, the Amir Sahib stated that belivers are to stand tall amidst the chaos and crisis that their close relatives and family membvers may manufacture. As a consequence, angels will descend on them conveying inner contentment, peace and tranquility in this very world when they are otherwise engulfed by the enemies.

Accusations against the Muhyi-ud-Din

The Khilafat system in the Jamaat-e- Ahmadiyya was initially and originally thought of as an interim, mundane institutional arrangement to carry on with the work of propagating the Sahih-al-Islam till the arrival of Divinely-raised Khalifa (Khalifatullah). Yet, in course of time, its self-declared custodians trampled to dust the original teachings of the Promised Massih (as) and arbitrarily elevated the man-made system and unjustly dismissed a Divine prerogative (of raising His Khalifa in a new century) into oblivion. Yet, Allah (twa) does what He will- He raised His own Khalifa in the new century of Islam, regardless of the mundane preoccupations of a temporal system. Slowly, but surely the tide is turning, with the Ahmadis in India and elsewhere themselves being able to recognize the truth of the Divine Project at work and accepting the Divine Messenger, creating panic and anxiety in the rank and file of Nizam-e-Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya .

In the aftermath of recent instances of members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in India taking Bai’ats at the hands of the Muhyi-ud-Din, the mercenaries of the Jamaat-e- Ahmadiyya (Mullahs, Maulvis and leaders) are hell-bent on ruining their spiritual lives: in their misguided bullishness, they seek to deviate unsuspecting common folks from following the path of the Messenger of Allah of our times by assassinating his character (God forbid). They spread the lie that the Muhyi-ud-Din is a “Bimaari” (“mentally sick person”). Other imbeciles are spreading canards, casting aspersions on the sexual morality of a Divine Messenger. In his Friday Sermon of August 30, 2013 the Khalifatullah, Muhyi-ud-Din Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius spent some time responding to the wild accusations being given currency to, by a number of adversaries of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam in recent times.

Islam and Human Rights

In his special sermon of October 05, 2012 on the occasion of the Annual Conference [“JALSA SALANA”] of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International, the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius reflected on the fundamental values on which the edifice of human society is constituted. Paying rich tributes to the idea of human freedom and individual liberty from an Islamic perspective,  Hadhrat Sahib underscores the profound correlation between the recognition of identity and individual rights and societal peace and progress.

Read the Extracts from the Sermon:

A society is made up of a number of individuals. That’s why Islam has provided a lot of directions for the freedom, progress and protection of the individual. The individual has been granted full liberty of conscience by this revelation to the Prophet (saw): “LA IKRAHA FIDDIN” There’s no compulsion in religion.

Each member has a mind of his own and is free to make his own choice. Man has been granted a free will and he can make use of his own judgement. He is not an automation directed by a blind force. This freedom of conscience, this liberty to choose and make our own destiny, that has been granted to every individual member as his birthright is considered – and justly so – to be the greatest blessing of God to humanity.
