My dear disciples,
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakaatuhu.
As
this Gregorian year 2025 is coming to an end, and another one is coming with
new challenges, new promises, new hope and new targets and plans, and with the Holy Month of Ramadan coming fast to
greet us with its blessed presence again, in this glorious month of Rajab 1447
Hijri, I wish to you all my sincere disciples
in India and beyond much blessings for the New Year 2026 and countless
rewards from Allah, not only for the immediate present, but for the rest of
your lives and beyond.
Today, like for the past two days, you have been celebrating unity and brotherhood in this blessed Jalsa Salana in the Sirajum Munir Masjid. Like you must all be aware, the Jalsa Salana was first instituted by the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) in the year 1891, in Qadian, India. The Promised Messiah of the past era – like this humble self in this era – was sent by Allah to revive the true teachings of Islam and to bring people back to the straight path of their Creator.
One hundred and thirty-four years have passed, and today Ahmadi Muslims around the world, including us in the present Divine Manifestation of this age, we continue this blessed tradition as it holds much blessings and advantages for the enrichment of spiritual knowledge for each and every sincere believer who seek to remain in the obedience of Allah and His Messengers.
Always keep in mind – never forget this, that the – Jalsa Salana was not created as a worldly festival or a place for entertainment. It was made for a pure purpose: to bring believers together, to strengthen their unity, and to help them grow in their love for Allah. It was meant to be a time when hearts would be softened, when faith would be renewed, and when people would leave behind their differences and stand shoulder to shoulder as one family of Islam. The Promised Messiah explained that this gathering was for spiritual upliftment, for learning, and for remembering Allah.
Now,
after one hundred and thirty-four years, the Jalsa Salana is still held every
year. It has become even more special in our time, because we live in an era of
Divine Manifestation. Allah, in His mercy, has once again sent a chosen one,
another Messiah, in the person of this humble self, to continue the work of
reviving Islam. Just as the Promised Messiah of Qadian was sent to guide the
people of his age, so too Allah has raised His servant – Munir A. Azim of
Mauritius – in this age to remind mankind of His truth and to call them back to
Him.
Today,
the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam continues with the same original purpose of the
Jalsa Salana. We do not gather for worldly gain, but for the unity of believers
and their spiritual upliftment. We gather to remember Allah, to learn His
teachings, and to strengthen our bond with Him. We gather to remind ourselves
that Islam is not just a name, but a living faith that must shine in our
actions, our words, and our hearts.
My
dear disciples, I call upon you to follow the true teachings of Islam as
revived by the Promised
Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). Stay far away from all deviating teachings that lead people
away from Allah. There are many voices in the world today, many ideas and many
paths, but not all of them lead to the truth.
Some of them may look attractive, but they estrange people from the path of
Allah. They take them away from the light and into darkness. You must be
careful, and you must hold firmly to the rope of Allah, which is the Holy
Qur’an and the teachings of His chosen ones.
The Jalsa Salana reminds us of the importance of the continuation of divine revelations. Islam is not a religion that lives only in the past. It is a living faith, and Allah continues to guide His people in every age. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Seal of the Prophets. This means he is the greatest of all prophets, the one who brought the perfect law, and the one whose teachings will last until the end of time. But it does not mean that Allah will stop sending His chosen servants. As long as there are human beings on earth, Allah will continue to send His elects, filled with the Holy Spirit, to guide mankind back to Him.
Those
who come after the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) are not law-bearing prophets,
but they are reformers, messiahs, guides and prophets who bring no new laws, who
bring people back to the true spirit
of Islam. Those
who come from Allah, like this humble self, have
the duty to revive and teach the true essence of the Qur’an in their respective
eras. The divinely-raised guides come to remind the people of the Sunnah, and
they show them how to live as true Muslims. This is the mercy of Allah. He is Kind and Loving, and He never leaves
His people without guidance.
Think
of it like this: when you are walking in the dark, you need a lamp to show you
the way. If the lamp goes out, you will stumble and fall. Allah, in His mercy,
always lights a lamp for His people.
He sends His chosen ones to be that lamp (like a Sirajum-Munir), so that mankind can walk safely on the path to Him.
Without them, people would be lost in confusion, following false ideas and
false leaders. But with them, people can see clearly, and they can reach the
best rewards, especially, in the Hereafter.
Therefore,
my disciples, you must stay true to Islam. Do not let yourselves be pulled away
by worldly attractions or false teachings. In this era, Allah has commanded
this humble one to bring about the revival of Islam. This is not my own work,
but the work of Allah. He has chosen me to remind you of His truth, to call you
back to Him, and to guide you on the straight path. If you remain faithful, if
you remain united, and if you remain humble before Allah, then you will find
success both in this world and in the next.
The
Jalsa Salana is a symbol of this unity. When we come together, we show the
world that Islam is alive. We show that Muslims are not divided, but are one body, one family, one people. We show that
we care for each other, that we love each other, and that we are ready to
sacrifice for each other. This is the true spirit of Islam.
O my little ones and my youths, the future of Islam, you must also understand this. Islam is not just for grown-ups. It is for you as well. You are the future of this faith. When you come to the Jalsa Salana, you must listen carefully, you must
learn,
and you must take the teachings into your hearts. Do not think that you are too young. The love of Allah can
enter your heart even now, and it will grow stronger as you grow older.
Remember
that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was sent as a mercy for all mankind. His
teachings are perfect, and they will never be replaced. But Allah, in His
mercy, continues to send His servants to remind you all – till the Day of
Judgement – of those teachings. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) was one of those
servants, and in this age, Allah has sent this humble one with this great
responsibility. This is the Divine Manifestation of our time. You must
recognise it, you must accept it, and you must follow it.
If
you do so, you will find peace in your hearts. You will find strength in your
faith. You will find joy in your worship. And you will find the best rewards in
the Hereafter. But if you turn away, if you follow false paths, then you will
lose that peace, that strength, and that joy. You will be left empty, and you
will regret it.
So I
want you to make a promise today. Promise that you will stay true to Islam.
Promise that you will follow the revival brought by the Promised Messiah Hazrat
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) and the blessed divine revelations and overall divine
guidance in this age through this humble one’s advent. Promise that you will
stay united, that you will love each other,
and that you will worship
Allah and serve His Deen with
all your hearts.
The
Jalsa Salana is not just a gathering. It is a reminder. You are here today –
you, in India and elsewhere in the world, and this humble self in Mauritius –
and we are connecting through new technology. Use it wisely. Do not forget your
origin, your Islam. Do not let this material world make you forget who you are,
what are your true beliefs, and where you are heading to (i.e. to Allah only,
and not the world or the Satan). The Jalsa Salana is held to remind each one of
you that you are the servants
of Allah, that you
are the followers of His Noble Prophet and Best
Role Model Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), and that you are the followers and disciples
of His chosen ones. Remember that your purpose in life is not to chase after
wealth or fame, but to worship Allah and to serve His creation.
May
Allah bless this gathering. May He bless all
those who attend it. May He bless the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam, not just in Tamilnadu, or even India, but throughout
the
whole world. Remember that through sheer divine grace, your number will
increase so much so that you should beware at that moment of corruption, both
in worldly administration of the Jamaat and in the spiritual way. Thank Allah
that you are living a blessed time, where Allah is forming you and enabling you
to better yourselves, physically, morally and spiritually. Those who do not
witness the advent of a Messenger of Allah are not same as you. So, be grateful
for the immense favour Allah has bestowed upon you in this era.
May
Allah bless all the true believers, His sincere and devoted servants who strive
to stay true to His path. May He keep you all united, may He keep you humble,
and strong in faith. And may He grant you the best rewards of both the worlds. Insha-Allah, Ameen.
