‘ISMUHU AHMAD’: ‘Munir is Ahmad’

Beyond all thoughts and imagination
Is the status of Ahmad (sa);
Whose servant, you can see,
Is the Messiah of the age!

-[Haqiqat-ul-Wahi, RK, Vol. 22, pp.286, f.n.)

Divine prophecies contain within them the seed of profound fulfillment: sometimes once, often several times. In the fullness of time, when it unravel and unveil before the world, it is for the believers to recognize and accept the enduring spirit of Divine Truth reverberating through time and history as magnificent reflections of the original fulfillment. Consider the great prophecy of Jesus (as) regarding the raising of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Hadhrat Muhammad (sa). Centuries after it was originally made and recorded in the Holy Books of the Christians (Gospel of John, 14: 16-17; 15:26; 16:7, 12-14),  the Holy Qur’an confirmed the prophecy: ‘Jesus, son of Mary, said, Children of Israel, I am sent to you by God, confirming the Torah that came before me and bringing good news of a messenger to follow me whose name will be Ahmad’   (61:07).

In a special Sermon delivered on September 07, 2013 the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim (atba) of Mauritius explains the ways in which Allah (twa) has imprinted and illuminated his name in the Kitab Al Munir/Qur’an Al Azim through the prophecy on ‘ISMUHU AHMAD’.

Read the Extracts from the Speech:

Allah reveals in the Holy Quran about the glad tidings vouchsafed by Jesus to his people concerning the advent of “Ahmad”.
“And giving glad tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad” (61: 7).

Without any doubt, the reference to “Ahmad” as mentioned by Jesus and confirmed by Allah in the Holy Quran calls our attention to the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw). But like the extent of the verses of the Holy Quran are infinite and its interpretations likewise, Allah made this humble self also understand that this applies also to the advent of the first Messiah of Islam and also to this humble self.

This is because being a Messiah himself, Jesus (as) prophesised both about the chief of Islam (saw), and the Messiahs who shall follow him. Being a Messiah, he is also referring to a Messiah like himself who shall come after him. If our chief Hazrat Muhammad (saw) is Ahmad, then Hazrat Mirza Ghulam is Ahmad and Munir is Ahmad; and Allah knows best how many Ahmad there shall be until the Day of Judgement! This is not only because of the name “Ahmad”. An Islamic Messiah chosen by Allah may not hold the name “Ahmad” on his birth certificate but in the sight of Allah, he is an “Ahmad”, an Illuminated One.

Thus the first Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) is an example of the accomplishment of the promise of Allah, and of the fulfilment of the prophecy of the Quran, of Hazrat Isa (as) and of Hazrat Muhammad (saw). He was the Promised Messiah for his time, and there will be other Messiahs, other Messengers who will come to revive the teachings of Islam, to safeguard its veracity and purity and foremost to guide mankind towards the unicity of Allah, the Creator of the Heavens and Earth.

It is true that God has revealed to me and the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) that the status of the Messiah of Muhammad (saw) is higher than that of the Messiah of Moses (as). Of course, I hold a very high regard for the son of Mary, as a sign of God and on a spiritual level, I am in Islam the Khatamul Khulafaae (the Seal of the Khalifas). Therefore, with my coming after that of the first Islamic Promised Messiah and Khatamul Khulafaae of his time, then all the caliphs will be in my obedience, my Jamaat, especially concerning the Khalifatullah (caliphs of God) who will also be from my Jamaat.

In the tradition of Moses, the son of Mary was the Promised Messiah. In the tradition of Muhammad (saw), I am the second Promised Messiah after the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) under whose guardianship I am today by divine will to guide you to the true and sole God and the true religion, Islam, which shall give you back your true identity and true salvation. If you are Muslims in name today, then this is my duty to call you back to Islam as the merging of the body and soul. You are now at present only the body without the soul. When you raise the status of Jesus more than our beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad (saw), you then underwent death, spiritual death. On one hand, you strived to bring Jesus back to life, but at the same time you caused your own deaths!

And thus, today I have come in the line of Hazrat Muhammad (saw) and Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) to bring back the spirit of life back in you, to advise you to submit to the true teachings of Islam for I am the Reviver of Religion of this century. I cannot force you to change the course of your life for your own spiritual benefits, but my duty is to guide you in the right path by advising and warning you. The Maker of hearts, that is, Allah is the only One who changes the hearts of His servants. He is the One who gives the insight and knowledge to perceive truth in what I am saying and to reform yourselves and stick to Islam, your true state of salvation. Without Islam you are doomed. That is why Allah has raised me with His Jamaat, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam to render back the glory of Islam to its pristine summit and beauty.

May Allah guide those who heed the true guidance. Ameen.

Significance of Surah Al Fatiha

... I have chosen to talk/explain today on a never-ending subject. I can say that if the ocean was ink and all trees in this world and the universe were pens and the sky and earth were papers, therefore all these would have come to an end but not the commentary of the Surah Al-Fatiha. This is because of the high importance of this chapter in the life of a believer, and this chapter is the first chapter of the Holy Quran. It is so important that one has to start with the Surah Al-Fatiha when he begins his prayer (Namaz/Salat). And to start supplications (duahs) to Allah, the Surah Al-Fatiha needs to be recited first. This is because of the nature of its greatness as a chapter and duah. In whatever situation a person may be, be it a difficulty, an illness or a state of suffering or any other problems he finds himself in, therefore he needs to recite the Surah Al-Fatiha.
By the grace of Allah, today 22nd August 2014, I have thought about explaining a bit again on this very important chap…

A Warning to Nasir Ahmad Sultani

Nasir Ahmad Sultani, the founder of Jama’at Ahmadiyya (Haqiqi) claims that Allah Almighty has appointed him as Mujaddid for 15th century of Islamic calendar on March 31st 2011. His group and he himself had been claiming as their “speciality” that he “has live contact with Allah Almighty” and that no other religious leader of this age can compete with him in this.
In recent comments published at the official Blog of the Lahore Ahmadiyya Movement onOctober 19, 2011, Sultani Sahib made sweeping statements:
Live contact with Allah Almighty is the main objective of a religion. Every religion and nowadays Islam must provide opportunity to connect people to their Creator. But there was none. I have searched and challenged all over the world. There is none of the followers of Islam who has his own presentable live connection with Allah Almighty.
There are some people who are claiming. But if you see minutely, you will know easily that they are not on the right path. Like Munir A. Azim sb., A.…

Prophet Muhammad: The Perfect Role Model

Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) is the only human and divine prophet to have reached the degree of perfect excellence, such excellence which is agreeable to human nature and the Creator Himself. With the revelation of the Holy Quran upon his humble self, Allah told him to say to the people:
“If you love Allah, then follow me;Allah will love you, forgive you your sins.” (3: 32).
The declaration of the Holy Quran is clear. It is set with such a condition which is agreeable to the ways of Allah, which is: Obey Allah and Obey the Prophet.Guidelines to obeying Allah are found in obeying the prophet and manifest the exquisite nature of being a good listener of the divine revelations and putting those instructions into practice.
There is abundant historical evidence to prove that those who have reformed their lives, by deciding to mould their lives according to the Holy Prophet’s model emerged from the abyss of ignorance and barbarism and poverty to be the teachers of arts and sciences and morals and s…
