Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat
Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius, in his special Jalsa Message to the Jamaat, underscored
the importance of being modest and humble in personal and social life and the
need to shun arrogance and other manifestations of nafs so asto progress in
the Path. In furtherance of shared objectives, members need to show respect for
elders and other Jamaat representatives and follow their instructions devised
for the common benefit of all. Hazrat Saheb (aba) wanted everyone to live their
days without malice, doubts and disputes. Back-biting, spite, jealousy, hatred,
and distancing oneself and family from common programs are all best avoided
through mutual goodwill and a big heart. Respect for ‘unity in diversity’ is
also critical for building solidarity across our socially-induced divisions and
identity-distinctions. Hazrat Saheb (aba) also highlighted the need for
personal reform and commitment to action so as to remain in the straight and correct
Path as a group of believers in these turbulent times.
At 6.25 pm, the
second Session started after the Maghrib
Namaz. In the final session of the day, Recitation of the Holy Qur’an and
Translation was done by our brother Sulfikar Ali Saheb. Zaki Mubarak Aziz
Raother recited a Nazm on the

theme, describing in detail some of the prophecies that were fulfilled in our
times- including the Tawaf of the Ka’aba by the Khalifatullah Al Mahdi- as
is famously prophecized by the Holy Prophet (sa) long back about the signs of
the Promised Messiah in 2018. In his speech, Fazil Jamal Saheb noted some of
the revelations received by Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) that foretold of major
events that took place in recent times: 9/11 attacks; world financial crisis
and energy price escalations; the Divine wrath on the pharaoh of Israel, Ariel
Sharon; revelatory knowledge about the death of President Yasser Arafat of
Palestine as it happened; humiliating punishment on those who vilify the Holy Prophet
(sa); national political developments in Mauritius, and more recently, the fall
of President Donald Trump of the United States. Members appreciated the session

were mostly unknown to the new members, Alhamdulillah.

Mukarram Amir
Saheb offered the closing speech of the Jalsa, reminding everyone that Islam’s
spiritual message is one that is inextricably intertwined with a call to action
in our lives. And for the reconstruction of the broken world, he exhorted that we
need to summon all our inner reserves and energy and equip ourselves to rise up
to the mighty challenge of reforming and purifying our own evil-prone selves-
first and foremost. He hoped that gatherings like our Jalsa are meaningful, as it reminds us of our grave duties and of
the larger challenges in our spiritual journeys even when we return our respective
places and lives, Insha Allah, Aameen.
