Usama ibn Laden, the slain chief of the Al Qaeda militant group, sought to project himself as championing the “Muslim” cause, by attacking imperial domains, promoting suicide bombings and indiscriminate killings. He thus 'elevated' “Fasad” into the realm of “Jihad” and sought to subtly project himself as the “blood-thirsty” Mahdi many common Muslims seem to expect from the Prophetic traditions for our times. By waging ‘Jihad’ against the US and their imperial allies, he was clearly taking on the great Satan (Dajjal) mentioned in the prophecies! How long can this subterfuge work? How long will Allah allow the falsehood to roam free? Reflecting on the recent events, the Khalifatullah Hadhrat Munir Ahmad Azim Sahib (atba) of Mauritius states: “falsehood is bound to be washed away and truth rendered clear”.

“…[T]he news is full of the death of Usama bin Laden; the supposed commandeer and sole head of the surprise attacks on both the twin towers of New York and the Pentagon (in the Unites States of America).
Prior to the attacks of 9/11, Allah already gave me in clear words revelations pertaining to the downfall of America and the machiavellic plans planted in the head of Bush and his chiefs. Usama bin Laden is not the only one responsible for the deaths of some 3000 innocent people. Unfortunately he has given a hand to this drama and through him Islam has come to be known as a Religion of Terror, Muslims were viewed as terrorists and all suicide bombing were done in the name of Islam, whereas Islam never preached all these.
It has become apparent and clear to all those who have ears to hear and eyes to see that Usama bin Laden through his campaign to voice out to be the one responsible for the attack which happened on September 11, 2001, that he is the Imam Mahdi of this era, and through his attacks on America, he was in fact waging war with the Dajjal, as detailed in the numerous Hadiths of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Especially with the appearance of the two eclipses which happened in the same month of Ramadhan (in October 2005 – even though partial, not complete as the one in November 2003), in his videos, it was apparent that he was claiming that he was the Mahdi, and he even started using his full name: Usama bin Muhammad bin Laden.
By his acts, Usama bin Laden has not honoured the name of “Muhammad” found in his name (being the name of his father). Moreover, he insinuated that he was the Mahdi, but definitely falsehood is bound to be washed away and truth rendered clear.
But this is not a reason for America, after killing him, to leave his body in the sea, without the proper Islamic rites. The Americans have got back their revenge with his death (though he is not alone in these crimes) and at least, the body should have been given back to his family for the proper Islamic rites. His judgement can only be done by Allah, not by people.
America is crying bitterly for the 3000 people who died due to these attacks on September 11, 2001; but have they forgotten the thousands of innocent Muslims killed by the stone-hearted America of that time? Can the death of 3000 Americans compared to the thousands of Palestinians and others who died at the hands of America, the so-called superpower? No!
Revenge in this sense is never good, for this is a fire which is on-going. Do the Americans think that by killing Usama bin Laden and making his corpse become fish food a means to establish justice? Or will this incident propels many more little bin Laden to born and manifest (with vengeance)?
Islam is a peaceful religion. That which the extremists are showing the world is not Islam. Terrorists are not the identity of Muslims, but of people without conscience and spiritual baggage. They may think that they are doing it to obtain the favours of God, but what favour is there in shedding blood of others and one’s own blood through suicide bombing?
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) never did take up arms to fight the enemy unless when the Muslims were first attacked, and the wars he waged were only after he received clear revelations from Almighty God to defend himself and the Muslims (who were one by one being killed by the enemies). That is why Allah gave the instructions that it was high time to defend themselves, before more Muslims be killed (and Islam disappears – God forbid) for that was the wish of the enemies of Islam…”.
