Islam: An Incomparable Gift

Our Islamic Faith
I bear witness that
there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that
Muhammad (pbuh) is His servant and Messenger.
This testimony is an integral
part of the Tashahhud (the testimony) that I recited at the beginning of my
sermon and is a fundamental aspect of Islamic life, whether in Salat (prayer)
or in every aspect of a Muslim believer's life. This testimony prevents anyone
from considering the greatest and seal of prophets, Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), or
any person or thing on this earth as equal to Allah.
As the Khalifatullah and Messenger of Allah in this era, it is important for me to present to you what I, as a believing Muslim, hold to be true. First and foremost, I firmly believe in the existence of an All-Powerful God Who is perfect in all His attributes. Allah is a Being without any flaws, weaknesses, imperfections, insufficiencies, laziness, and He lacks nothing and never forgets. None of the human or animal weaknesses that afflict His creatures affect Him, the Creator. He possesses all excellent qualities at the highest level, beyond the full understanding and realization of humanity.

Bedtime Ethics in Islam
Qur'an on Night Prayer
‘Proclaim His praise in the night’ (50:41)
‘Glorify Him at night and at the fading of the stars.’ (52: 50)
‘Keep up the prayer at both ends of the day, and during parts of the night, for good things drive bad away– this is a reminder for those who are aware.’ (11: 115)
‘Celebrate the praise of your Lord, before the rising and setting of the sun, celebrate His praise during the night, and at the beginning and end of the day, so that you may find contentment.’ (20:131)
‘Night prayer makes a deeper impression and sharpens words–– you are kept busy for long periods of the day–– so celebrate the name of your Lord and devote yourself wholeheartedly to Him.’ (73:7-9)
‘And during the night wake up and pray, as an extra offering of your own, so that your Lord may raise you to a [highly] praised status.’ (17:80)

'Has God Stopped Talking?'
Proof of the Existence of God Almighty
Is there conclusive evidence that God exists? Is the existence of God a fact that can be proven like any other scientific fact that can be proven in a laboratory?
It is surprising that atheists and believers today share the same belief regarding one of the attributes of God that provides conclusive proof of His existence. In today’s world, it is a fact that everyone agrees upon, both atheists and followers of the various religions of the world, that God has stopped talking.

'Zikr Allah'- III
Such divine remembrance has many beneficial consequences for those who engage in such special supplications: the heart becomes sensitive, and the sensory organs become receptive to true values of life. When the God-gifted 'free will' is channelled to focus on abiding by holy prescriptions; when divine commands become the guiding code of conduct, such a believer triumphs over satanic temptations; peace and tranquillity of heart permeates the person and his surroundings; angels descent to witness and appreciate his spiritual practices in pursuit of Divine countenance, and the believer may gain a rank even above that of angels along with the approval and pleasure of God, notes Hazrat Saheb (aba).

The Questioning at 'Qabar'
One of the constitutive beliefs of the Muslims is in relation to the hidden, mystical realities of the Hereafter, where man will reach after his brief sojourn in this world- to account for all his words and deeds in this life. Everyone will face their Lord on the Day of Reckoning. And the questioning at Qabar is unavoidable and inevitable. Allah (swt) prescribes His commandments so as to allow us to discriminate and recognize the good from the evil, by following His Prophets and other Elects through whom He conveys His messages of clear guidance to all humanity. Rejecting a messenger is tantamount to ignoring God. Hence, everyone who lives in the times of a Divine Messenger will have to account for their attitude towards such a Divine servant in the Hereafter. Everyone of us who live in this world today will be questioned tomorrow whether we behaved responsibly, or abused our free will to ridicule God’s message when it reached us- a glad tiding for true and faithful believers, and a warning for the deniers and rejecters of God’s messages and messengers.
Read the Extracts from a related Jamaat Communication:
'Allah revealed to this humble self:
O Khalifatullah! When a faithful believer is made to sit in his grave, then, the angels come to him and testify him:
LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH WA ANNA MUHAMMADUR RASSULLULLAH, meaning: ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah’.

Shafa’ah: 'Intercession' in Islam
It is very important to understand that Allah is the Best Interceder/ Intercessor for His servant. He is the Best Being who can waive away all the sins or faults of someone, forgive him and make him taste His pleasure and paradise. Allah says in the Holy Quran: “Say: ‘To Allah belongs all intercession’.” (Az-Zumar, 39: 45).

The 'Ruh' and the 'Nafs': A Commentary
Today, it
gives me great pleasure to present before you all a very important
explanation on the “Ruh”
and the “Nafs”
which several of my disciples have respectfully asked me to give.
This is indeed a very important and deep subject which I specially
delivered to you some years back, specifically during the Mubahila
period with Abdul Ghaffar Janbah and his disciple Mansoor Ahmed dated
15 August 2011 and which I shall put again before you during the
course of my sermon.
