'Sacrifice for a better World'

By the immense grace of Allah, we have reached the month of Shawwal after 29 or 30 days of fasting and sacrifices in the month of Ramadan.

If Ramadan was a training for all believers to control and devote themselves more and more in the acts of worship to seek the forgiveness of our Lord and the opportunities to please Him, then Shawwal is that month during which the believers are to maintain that promise they made to Allah in that which they will remain steadfast in His path and walk the way of humility, simplicity and hold high the place of sacrifice in their lives for the sake of Allah.

We, Muslims have the foremost duty to be true to our Islam and Ramadan taught this to us and granted us the time and opportunity to do so. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

Allah has promised those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, that for them there is forgiveness and a great reward. [Al-Maida, 5: 10]

If the Eid was a reward for you, unfortunately not all Muslims around the world get the opportunity to receive the Eid that you receive. So you should be thankful to Allah and strive with your selves and all means that you have to help change the world into a better one.

The message of 'Eid-ul-Fitr'

On the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr 2022, the print and electronic media in Mauritius carried a special message of Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim (aba). In the special article, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) takes note of the crises of Faiths and the dismal state of spirituality among the people of all religions today. In an age of crass materialism or the hedonic pursuit of power and pelf at all costs, the approach to religion being followed by the present-day worshippers is riddled with deep contradictory tendencies. While rites and rituals of religions are being observed by one and all, the true spirit of these faith practices are conspicuously missing in larger societal trends where the tentacles of Evil is apparent for all.

The quest for inner peace and contentment, social harmony and compassionate engagements across different sections, justice and rights of the victims- all call for a new engagement and compact with God, renewing the true spirit of all faiths- points out Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba). Urging all humankind, especially the Muslims, to rediscover the essence of the Islamic spiritual life of devotional practices, Hazrat Saheb (aba) assures everyone that the inner, human quest for a sense of balance in life and peace in society is attainable. It is by following the blended path of pure worship of God and true service to fellow beings; a path of personal reform and ridding of arrogance and other ego-centric passions; of sacrifice and selflessness; an ethic of sharing and caring for all that we can achieve positive outcomes for 'a blessed tomorrow', notes Hazrat Saheb (aba) in this article published on Le Mauricien, on 02 May 2022.

Khalifatullah's Dream- 2

During the recently-concluded fasting period of Ramadan 1443 AH, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International Hazrat Muhyiuddin Al Khalifatullah Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius was vouchsafed with several mystical visions and other spiritual experiences that foretell events waiting to unfold in the world at large- inter alia, the dismal spiritual condition of the members of the Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya, the severe punishment awaiting disbelievers and the hypocrites, and the good fortune and rewards awaiting the truly sincere. These mystical experiences make it abundantly clear that in the larger struggle for the preservation of Islamic values in the world, especially among the Muslims, the purified path being followed by the Khalifatullah (aba) and his disciples in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam has a vital role to play, Insha Allah.

In this context, we have recently published a very important dream made by Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) in the holy and blessed days of the Ramadan concerning a great duty on true believers. The dream heralds that sincere souls in the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam  shall strive earnestly for safeguarding the sanctity of Islamic teachings- as the dream foretells, with their efforts at preservation of the Keys of Ka’aba as well as the entering of Makkah by a future high representative of Allah, by a Sahih Muslim, Insha Allah, Aameen.

Reproduced below is yet another important dream made by Hazrat Saheb (aba) on the 25th of April 2022~ 23 Ramadan 1443 AH, touching upon several important themes at the heart of the divine manifestation and its preaching efforts in the last two decades in Mauritius- providing stunning insights into the shifting attitude of the Ahmadis, and also of the people who associated themselves as disciples in the early days, and also of the sincere striving of the present followers of the Khalifatullah (aba) in India. The dream also points to the remarkable continuity on many different levels in the revelatory mission of Hazrat Saheb (aba) with the spiritual message and mission of the Promised Messiah Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) of Qadian in the previous era, regardless of the hostile attitude of the present-day Ahmadis and their chiefs to the continuity of Divine revelations and the true meaning of Divine appointment of a Khalifa, or a Khalifatullah among the people.

Eid-Ul-Fitr Sermon 2022

We celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr today by the grace of Allah, and as it is described by our Most Noble Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh), it is the “day of reward”. Let us pause for a moment and reflect on the significance of the Eids or celebrations in Islam.

Festivities are part of the natural behaviour of mankind and have been practiced throughout human history for a variety of reasons. Festivities could be for mere pleasure or to express joy for blessings granted to a community. The ancient Egyptians used to celebrate their happiness when the Nile rose and flowed with vigour or at the onset of spring when flowers blossomed.

Nowadays communities may commemorate inspiring occasions such as an independence day, to mark some constitutional achievement or to honour and pay homage to inspiring personalities.

Islam lays strong claim to be the religion of man in its uncorrupted and natural state. Its festivities are linked to the fulfilment of duties and the satisfaction derived therefrom. They are not expressed in joyful abandon and merriment with activities [such as alcohol consumption] that do harm and injury to the individual and society.

Eid-Ul-Fitr marks the advent of the first day that Muslims resume a natural course of living after a month of great hardship, devotion, self-discipline and self-denial. The day is accompanied by a deep sense of gratification for two reasons. Firstly, that they have fulfilled an honourable duty in fasting during the month of Ramadan thereby manifesting their obedience to Allah and following the Holy Prophet’s customs. Secondly, that they have hope of reward in the hereafter for good done in this blessed month. The Prophet (pbuh) is quoted as having said: “The fasting believer has two moments of happiness: the first at the time of breaking the fast and the second when he is in the presence of the Almighty [i.e. In prayer and in the life to come].” [Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, An-Nasaï, Ibn Majah, Mishkaat]

Eid-ul-Fitr 2022

Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah, the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr yesterday, 01 Shawwal 1443 AH~ 03 May 2022 in Kerala and Tamil Nadu and elsewhere in India and beyond. Brothers, sisters and children of the Jamaat assembled, inter alia, at the historic Noor’ul Islam Masjid, Mathra and at the Siraj-um-Munir Masjid, VK Puram.

In a special message on the occasion to his disciples in India, Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam Hazrat Khalifatullah Al Muhyi-ud-Din Munir Ahmad Azim Saheb (aba) of Mauritius  conveyed 'Eid Mubarak' to everyone, and also his appreciation for all those who fervently sacrifice their personal comforts in favour of the call of Allah and His Prophet (sa) and also of His Khalifatullah (aba) in this era, thereby seeking to revive and renew the sacred teachings and practices of Islam for the benefit of all humanity. Hazrat Saheb (aba) exhorts true believers in this era to hold the Faith and its obligations far above their mundane personal interests; to do persistent striving to create an altogether 'new' world in our own social circles - a world respectful of spiritual values, like in the times of the Holy Prophet (sa). Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) points out that believers in this era can renew the grand legacy of the Sahaba-i-Kiraam by becoming model exemplars of faith in their own everyday lives, Insha Allah, Aameen.

Poem: 'The Successor'

The Rise of the Sun & the Moon of Islam

The World may be cut Asunder,

But not my Love for You,

Your Essence fills me,

And grants me the elixir of Unity,

In Your pure Divinity;

You say to let go of the filth of this world,

And come in Your embrace,

Devoid of the temporalities of temporalities;

You crafted a Being,

And breathed in Your Soul,

The Divine Soul will see through,

The Trials of this world;

In the Glow of a Setting World,

The Sun will rise again,

To give a Last Ray of Hope to the Universe,

The cry, out of this world

Will fill Your Universe,

With submission to Your Will;

Keys of the Ka’aba: A Dream

Ka’aba is the first spiritual home of human kind. From Hazrat Adam (as) through Hazrat Ibrahim (as) and Hazrat Ismail (as), the grand legacy of Tawheed, the mantle of sublime worshipful practices in utter devotion to the Unique Lord of the worlds, reached its religious perfection and ethical permanence with the advent of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) and the establishment of Islam. The unique history of that ancient spiritual space in Arabia is commemorated, through the long, thriving spiritual traditions of Tawaf in Makkah, the great Hajj, as well as Umrah. As the Baitullah is in the spiritual heart of the Muslim world, the pilgrims flock to the place from around the world, literally, every day and year.

Indeed, circumambulation at the ancient House of God is emblematic of true spirituality in Islam. In the Islamic tradition, it is recorded that several Adams have performed their Tawaf around the Ka’aba over countless ages. Noble souls, Elects of God in particular, will be eager to perform their Tawaf. Consider the Islamic traditions that preserve glad tidings concerning the advent of Divinely-raised souls to restore Islamic teachings in every era. It is also foretold that such an inspired soul, the Islamic Messiah of the Later Days, will perform Tawaf around Makkah, perform Umrah or Hajj, or both.

By the immense grace and blessings of Allah, the prophecy about the Islamic Messiah entering Makkah to perform Tawaf stands literally fulfilled in our times with the Muhyi-ud-din Al Khalifatullah Hazrat Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius, accompanied by members of the holy family, performing Umrah in February 2018, Alhamdulillah, Summa Alhamdulillah.

A recent, beautiful dream made by Hazrat Saheb (aba) in this blessed month of Ramadan foretells glad tidings for the Jamaat’s future, especially about the continuation of the holy trusteeship of the Divine mission, with a future Khalifa along with countless followers also performing the Tawaf, holding the keys of the Ka’aba in a mystical or literal way, Insha Allah. The dream of the Khalifatullah (aba) on the 22nd of April 2022 also reminds old members of the Jamaat about a remarkable Kashaf (spiritual visions) made by Hazrat Ummul Mu'mineen Fazli Amena Varsally on 20- 21 April 2018 on the larger theme of preservation of Ka'baa keys- a metaphor for the safeguarding of enduring Islamic teachings as taught by the Holy Prophet (sa). For the spiritual benefit of everyone, the extracts from Jamaat communications sent by Hazrat Tayyeba Shaheeda Aliah Nasrine on the two different occasions, narrating these spiritual experiences, are reproduced below:
