A 'Bai'at' with the Khalifatullah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

To all my dear Spiritual children and the Muslim ummah around the world,

All praise belongs to Allah (swt), the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, who has never left mankind without guidance. From the beginning of time, He has raised among people His chosen servants—prophets, messengers, and reformers—to illuminate the path of truth and righteousness.

As Muslims who hold firmly to the timeless teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the noble Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), we recognize that the raising of an Elect of God in every era is part of Sunnatullah—an enduring Divine practice. Especially in times of spiritual darkness, confusion, and moral decline, Allah, in His infinite mercy, sends guidance to revive faith and restore the connection between man and his Creator.

In this blessed month of Ramadan, Allah sometimes strengthens the hearts of believers through subtle and profound signs. Recently, on the 27th night of Ramadan, a spiritual incident was witnessed at Sirajum Munir Mosque, where, as narrated by Khaja Mohideen Sahib, an angel was seen by Umar Sahib entering the mosque and engaging in a spiritual act while he himself was immersed in supplication. Though not perceived physically by all, the experience was followed by a night filled with dreams of Tableegh and deep reflection upon the Holy Qur’an. Such incidents serve as reminders of Allah’s unseen help and the acceptance of sincere efforts in His path.

Today, we live in an age where many are lost in doubts, misbeliefs, and despair. In such a time, the coming of a Mujaddid and Khalifatullah is not merely an event—it is a great mercy and a manifestation of Divine grace. Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed you with the ability to recognize His chosen servant in this era, and this recognition itself is a Divine grace beyond measure.

At a dire time when the world needed guidance and the divine light to break through the darkness of evil and corruption, Allah sent His special envoy, His Khalifatullah, a Messenger from Him for the reform  of the world, to bring us all back to the dogma of the unity of Allah.

So, my dear spiritual children, our faith teaches us not to make distinctions among those whom Allah chooses to guide mankind. Whether they are called Nabi, Rasul, Imam, or Khalifatullah, all are recipients of Divine favour, raised to lead humanity towards the truth.

In this era, you have been blessed with a Khalifatullah and a Muhiyuddin—a representative of Allah and a reviver of the faith—who continuously calls you towards righteousness, reminds you of our responsibilities, and guides you in the light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Today, with the rise of the Divine Manifestation with the advent of a Khalifatullah, Munir Ahmad Azim (atba), Allah is giving each one of you in this blessed era the golden opportunity to strive to Him and to accede to His proximity.

Through Bai’at with the Khalifatullah of the era, you have entered into a sacred covenant — a pledge not only of allegiance but of transformation in this era. It is a commitment to obey in all that is good, to purify your hearts, to reform your lives, and to walk steadfastly on the path of truth. This bond is unique, spiritual, and deeply personal, requiring sincerity, humility, and complete trust in Allah.

For many people, it is not easy to understand or accept the high spiritual rank of a man chosen by Allah—one who is supported by Him and guided through the Roohul Quddus, and who is unlike anyone you usually encounter in everyday life.

By entering into a covenant with the chosen servant of our time through Bai’at with the Khalifatullah, believers take an important and correct first step. They pledge to obey him and follow him in the path of Allah in all that is good.

May Allah (swt) grant people the ability to recognize and understand the elevated spiritual status of His chosen one in this era. It is through gratitude to Allah—by accepting His chosen servants and following their guidance—that believers attain His pleasure and approval, Insha Allah. Aameen.

Today, we are given a similar opportunity—not to witness history, but to become part of it.

The call that echoes in our hearts is: “Arise and create a new world.”

Our commitment to prioritize ‘Faith above the World’ and to work towards a ‘New World Order’ —  rebuilding a just and righteous world — requires continuous effort and dedication. This transformation cannot happen overnight, nor can it be achieved through words alone.

It begins within each of us—through sincere repentance, personal reform, and strengthening our connection with Allah. From there, it spreads to our families, then to our communities, and ultimately to the wider society, where we strive to uphold justice, compassion, and truth in all that we do.

This path demands sacrifice. Not the sacrifice of animals alone, but the sacrifice of our desires, our time, our wealth, and even our own selves for the sake of Allah. Like the noble companions of the past, who proved their imaan through action, we too must rise above comfort and strive in the path of Deen.

Our beloved Holy Prophet (pbuh) always teaches us that saying and doing are not the same. Therefore, let us reflect on our responsibilities—towards our faith, our families, and our society. Let our actions speak louder than our words. Let our lives become a reflection of sincerity, humility, and devotion.

Today, you must sincerely thank Allah (SWT) for His great favour in allowing you to recognise His chosen servant in this era, and you should also renew your intentions with honesty and humility.

Being among the believers of this time is not just an honour—it is also a test of your sincerity, your steadfastness, and your loyalty to the truth.

May Allah (swt) grant you the strength to remain firm on this path, to fulfill the conditions of your Bai’at with sincerity, and to strive tirelessly for His pleasure.

May He accept our sacrifices, forgive our shortcomings, and make us among those who truly live by faith and die in a state of iman and taqwa. Ameen, Summa Ameen Ya Rabbil Aalameen.

Jazakallah Khair,

Wassalamu wa Allah Hafiz
