Makhdoom Saheb [1957-2023]

Janab Makhdoom Muhammad Saheb, a companion of Hazrat Khalifatullah Al Muhyiuddin Munir Ahmad Azim (aba) of Mauritius and one of the senior members of the Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam- Tamil Nadu, died yesterday- Monday, 27 November 2023. He was 66 years of age. Inna Lillaahi Wa Innaa Ilayhi Raajioon.

Marhoom Makhdoom Saheb leaves behind a rich legacy of sincere faith in God and humble service for the benefit of fellow beings despite all trials and tests of faith in life that he has had to undergo as a human. Without thinking about any material benefit and seeking only the pleasure and grace of His Lord, some years ago, Makhdoom Saheb donated and registered a large piece of land for the benefit of the Jamaat, Alhamdulillah. Marhoom Makhdoom Saheb will be remembered in the annals of the Tamil Nadu Jamaat for his enduring good deeds that will benefit the generations to come, Insha Allah.

In early 2023, when Imam- Jamaat Ul Sahih Al Islam International Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) and Hazrat Ummul Mu’mineen International Sadr Saheba visited India, they visited the area in which the land is located and they named it ‘Jannat-ul-Baqi’, and also honoured Makhdoom Saheb on the occasion for his exceptional service in public interest, and offered fervent prayers for Divine grace and mercy for the good future of the Jamaat in Tamil Nadu, Insha Allah, Aameen.

Makhdoom Saheb is survived by his wives Rahumat Nisa Saheba and Mahdoom Fathima Saheba, as well as four children: daughter Thahira Ahamed, and three sons Noorudheen; Bashirudheen Mahmood Ahamed; and Masroor Ahamed. In a condolence message to the family, Hazrat Khalifatullah (aba) counselled every one in the family on the occasion: “take patience and this is life. We all of us (are) temporary in this world and one day, our time will also come, Insha Allah, to return back to our Creator and only the good action will bring with us before Allah. All mundane riches, or any other mundane things, even our body, will be buried here in this temporary world. So pray that one day you meet your father in a very good place in Aakherat, Insha Allah, Aameen, Summa Aameen.’

His mortal remains were buried according to Islamic rites at the burial ground of the Muhyiuddin Masjid, Karunkulam, Thoothukkudi on Tuesday, 28 November 2023 afternoon.  The Janaza prayer was led by his son Noorudheen Saheb. Amir-Jamaat (Tamil Nadu) Mukarram Saleem Saheb and several members of the Jamaat and other Muslim brothers of the village participated in the funeral service.

It is also instructive to note that in this era of the Divine Manifestations, revelations and divine messages; a young girl of the Jamaat received a special Divine Sign- soon after the burial service; an inspired message carrying the glad tiding that Marhoom Makhdoom Saheb will receive a magnificent house in Paradise for his selfless services and sacrifices in this life, Insha Allah, Aameen.

May Allah forgive Marhoom Makhdoom Saheb, elevate his status and give him a very good place in Jannat-ul-Firdaws, Insha Allah, Ameen, Summa Ameen Ya Rabb’il Aalameen.
